It appears as if the Central Bank's plan is not really to change the currency notes, but to frustrate the use of cash and enforce a cashless policy. This was most likely suggested by a foreign government or by an international financial institution. The argument that the Central Bank's directive is targeted at politicians in respect of the forthcoming elections, is just a distraction. The Central Bank's directive is not targeted at politicians, but at everybody in the country. |
This may appear to be okay on the surface, but reading between the lines, the Central Bank is trying to implement financial dictatorship. |

Was anybody able to read the vehicle plate number? |
The cash withdrawal limit is anti-people. It is a ploy to control the finances of everybody, and was probably suggested by a foreign or international organization. It is a potentially dangerous situation. It should not be implemented. |

Question number 5 must be a joke. Apart from the fact that this question can be answered by a primary 5 student, the selection of one out of two options randomly means that there is a 50% chance of getting each sub-question right. |
Why are the Chinese in Nigeria called expatriates? Is the word "expatriate" used for Nigerians living outside Nigeria? |

With this kind of harassment, most especially in the south, and north central parts of the country, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has ceased to be of any use to the general Nigerian population. EFCC should be scrapped. It has become a harassment tool. If there are any laws enabling EFCC, such laws should be repealed. |
Harieam:The doctor in the previous gist is Dr Abbas Adeyemi, who allegedly steals cars from cab drivers after giving them lethal injections. The Supreme Court of Nigeria has ruled that Section 46 of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission Act should be construed within the narrow confines of the United Nations Convention Against Corruption, the precursor to the establishment of the EFCC - to prevent illicit financial outflow from Nigeria. EFCC should not arrest anybody unless the allegation is about "illicit financial outflow from Nigeria". |
