If they say you are fine then consult them on low impact excercises you can do. Secondly one meal a day is not a good strategy. You may be robbing your body of vital nutrients, rather consult a nutritionist to design a good diet for you.

I am a guy, currently 22 years of age. For some time in the past I usually have occasional chest pains which comes and goes within 10 minutes. I thought it was as a result of my sugar intake as I consume soft drinks a lot with little or no exercises so I decided to cut down on my soft drink to no avail because I always end up going back to it.

Fast forward to sometime last month, I traveled to Europe to get a medical degree and when I got here, I started living on junk foods, KFC and McDonald’s as I could not cook. The chest pain came back one night and I decided to complain to my dad. Immediately I complained to him, I became conscious of it and I started fussing over it.

I went to google and everything I saw about pains in the chest always leads to cardiac arrest, stroke and dying. I couldn’t stop thinking about it, I was always trying to check my heartbeat every chance I get. My dad said it was due to the junk foods so I stopped junk foods and soft drinks as my cholesterol could be high. I still couldn’t shake off the horrible feeling I got whenever I checked my heartbeat.

I started having panic attacks and difficulties with breathing and always feeling tired. I eventually went for check up and my heartbeat showed a beat of 68 bpm. I got checked by a cardiologist, neurologist and an orthopedic doctor and they all said my vitals looked normal, blood pressure normal, blood oxygen level normal, blood sugar normal except for the orthopedic doctor who told me I had to fix my slouching posture.

It’s been a week after the check up but my life isn’t back to normal. I can’t keep complaining to my parents because I gave them quite a scare with my first complaint and I know they have their own life to live but I’m just scared, I live alone in my apartment here and I’m new so no friends yet.

Anytime I check my heartbeat it still feels irregular,I can’t enjoy the foods I use to love, I get scared of doing strenuous exercises like jogging because I’ve heard stories of people who collapsed while jogging, i don’t enjoy my sleep anymore as I read that most people with cardiac problems die in their sleep.

For a week now, I have been going for evening walks to keep fit and exercise and I only eat once a day. I eat 2 apples every day and I swallow a capsule of omega 3 fatty oil daily. The only protein I consume now is salmon or mackerel fish because of their heart strengthening capabilities.

I can’t focus on my studies anymore but I can’t complain because I don’t want to bother my parents anymore but I’m scared. Some nights I wake up with panic attacks and every morning I feel happy for sleeping and waking up successfully. I hate how flawed the human design is. Sometimes I get distracted but as soon as I feel any slight discomfort in my chest, I check my heartbeat and it feels irregular. There’s occasional sharp pains in my head that goes almost immediately and sometimes I feel blood throbbing through my veins in different parts of my body. Tomorrow I’ll be going out to get an apple series 6 watch so I can monitor my vitals better.

Sorry for the long read, I just had to let all of this out.

I'll try to make this short.

Yesterday I was having a conversation with my fiancée about my mum's suggestion about how to go about our wedding which is scheduled to take place Jan next year. My mum suggested that we do both trad and white wedding on the same day to cut cost. She opined that we do the white wedding in the morning and hold the traditional marriage as a reception in the afternoon. I pretty much see reasons from her perspective considering the harsh economic condition in Nigeria.

I was relating this to my fiancée yesterday in a phone call, when she flared up and said I should have consulted her to seek her opinion on this marriage arrangement before going to my family to seek theirs because I said my mum's advise seems okay.

What I deduce from her plight was that she wants the trad marriage at the village (south-east) while the white at the town where we base (South-West). That was what I initially wanted but due to high inflation in the land, I'm actually tilting towards my mum advise because I can't go bankruptcy just because I want to satisfy her. Why not use a stone to kill two birds?

She wants a cream-de-la-cream kind of wedding but she's not ready to assist financially to make that happen. (she's an awaiting corper)

I told her that the cost of transportation and lodging people from the village (hers and mine) to the city for our white marriage alone is gulping about 500/600k. That's transportation & lodging alone ooo.. I'll now spend if not x2 of what I spent on trad for white.. Why not just do everything in the village and move on with our lives? We can actually have it in the village and it will still be all nice and glamourous.

She said she wants to have a say in how her marriage will look like. Her imput is welcomed. But if she still insist on having the white wedding and not putting finances into consideration. I'm thinking that she want the white wedding on the city because of her friends who will attend which is not enough reason to go bankruptcy for.

It was a heated argument yesterday. We both went to bed angrily and not in talking terms till now

I have an issue and I want you guys to be as brutally honest with me. Problems cannot be solved alone and as much as I’ve discussed this with close family, I need to get unbiased opinions from strangers. Please feel free to pm me with advise as I’m just so down about this situation.

I’m 25 years old and I live in the USA. I’m Yoruba and he’s Igbo, was born here but have also lived in naija at one point. I’ve been in a relationship with this guys for 5 years but I’m at the point where I’m seriously unhappy. Unfortunately we have a daughter together and we got engaged when I was pregnant But things are just not Looking good.

I’m going to first start off by pointing out My flaws so things can be two sided. I will say my shortcomings are

I’m extremely introverted so I don’t like to go out at all, I don’t have friends so I can be very dependent on him emotionally, and I’m not extremely jovial with his family....(he comes from a very jovial background ) because it’s not my personality but I’m friendly and respectful as much as i can be. And none of his family or friends can say they dislike me, they probably just think I’m too quiet.

When I’m upset I can say some really hurtful things.

I also allow things to get to me, and I’m not very forgiving.

I will say I’m aware of these flaws that i have and I’m actively working on them and have tried to adjust over the years with these issues.

Now with my fiancé I’m trying to be as patient as I can but I’m becoming extremely miserable in the process. He’s been doing fraudulent things for over a decade,(which I thought I could initially change him when I first met him) but I’ve realised it may not be possible. He is in his mid 30s. He blamed it on not having his documents, which I understood. He got his documents through our daughter a few months ago so I’m hopeful things will change but with the company he keeps and the amount of years he’s been doing it, I’m a little bit worried that he’s stuck in his ways.

I’m concerned about his smoking and drinking habits.

Earlier this year I found that he was looking for women to sleep with as I saw the history on our computer. He later put all the blame on his cousin then slightly admitted it but denied that he actually slept with one that he was just looking.

I can’t talk to him without him flaring up. He has this huge pride and ego. He will never ever apologise even when he is wrong I’m always the one to surrender and apologise.

At this point I don’t trust this man at all. I find he is very sneaky and deceptive. In public you will think he is a God fearing man , but doing all these things behind behind closed doors without having any conviction to change I don’t know what exactly to do.

These are just the main things as I don’t want to type too much.

Please let me know what you think I should do in this situation or if you think I have no reason to try and leave I need pure honesty.

We are also not married right now as he’s still processing his divorce that he did strictly for document that didn’t work out in his favour
