i've been living under the fear of having a heart problem for more than five years, but my people refused that i should go for scan probably because of fear that it might be true, and there won't be money to care/treat it..

Even me, i'm afraid to go for scan, because the moment it is comfirmed to me, i don't kno if i would be able to live with it..

i can't run nor do hard work, my pulse is always high and sometimes my breathing stop totally.. I've fainted multiple times, and i've been living under depression for so long..

Now, this symptoms is increasing on daily basis, but my people dosn't want me to go for scan.. Is like they already knows the result will turn out positive.

But what if i go for scan an the result shows that i have a heart probem, how will i be able to live with it, knowing fully very well that we don't have the money to cure it..

I don't kno what to do nairalanders, i need advice..

Dear Esteemed Nairalanders of extreme wisdom, I have a 4+ year old daughter who is very curious and sleeps on the same bed with me and wife. Some days ago she almost caught me and wife having sex, so in the morning she asked my wife what I was doing to her…lol. I think we made a mistake in not allowing her get used to her room from day one. We had tried to make her see reasons why she can’t continue to sleep on same bed with us but it’s all falling on deaf ears. At a point, we forced her to her room and when she woke up around 2am, all hell was let loose, I felt sympathy and told my wife to allow her into our room.


We can’t continue this way, so I need your advice (especially married couples with kids)

Oga na wetin u teach pikin e go learn. it is not too late. let her sleep, after she sleeps taker her to her room adn leave a weak light on. if she wakes and all hell breaks loose. switch off hell adn repeat teh proceedure. the following day Rines and repeat. with consistency she will get used to it. worked for me

1. Did we make a mistake by letting her sleep on same bed with us considering she is just 4?

2. Is it too late to force her to her room?

3. How do we go about making sure she gets used to her room without disturbing us?

4. If she asks what we are doing at night, like the case where she almost caught us, what would be a good reply that would sound logical and educative for her own growth.

5. Is her jealousy normal?

Hello All

The car is a Toyota corrolla 2004 and i noticed non of my windows will either wind down or up both from the driver side control and from their individual door controls. Meaning that it's a compulsory use of ac.


I have called the electrician thinking it's electrical and he has checked everything and can't detect the anything even after loosing the door handle.

But my central lock button work very well.

Please any suggestions on how to fix this...

I really do need your mature opinions on this issue, I'm a young man in my early 30s. due to my personality am the kind of guy that flex alot. night life parties, clubbing and the rest.sometime last year I happened to be at the club, just like any other day..I took a girl home. now, I haven't congratulated her yet, this has got me worried.. thinking.... "WHAT IF THIS CHILD IS MINE" I have every reason to believe it's mine.

1) calculating the month we broke up and had sex last to this December she gave birth is like few days pass 9 months.

2) the way she acted on the issue that made her stop coming to my place again... showed she already had this planned out (picked the yahoo boy over me)


3) the baby she uploaded is quite fair, and I also am fair in complexion. (her man is black)

with this I have every reason to believe that child might be mine.... but am really confused don't know what to do... have been thinking ever since yesterday night.


can I fight this now or I should wait till the baby is grown?


moving on when I know I have a child somewhere, my offsprings is not an option.. because I feel scammed already.

I don't know how concise i can be, but I will try.

I just graduated last 3 months, with my girlfriend who's now my ex, and she's 26yrs of age while I'm 28yr.

We started dating from our 200level till yesterday, (that's approximately 4yrs and counting...).
We were ideal together, we were well known in school, to an extent where her friends and mine kept asking how? And wishing theirs was like ours..

She promised never to leave, and she please everyday that I should never hurt her. At times we jokingly talked about our future kids which is now a never happening fable.

So after we graduated, she travelled to stay with her aunt, we do check on each other everyday.

Last month.. She called, and said her friend needs an advice, that she and her date just graduated, and that another man is asking her out, and she's thinking of dumping her guy since he's not ready, and that the newly known man is ready to pay for her marriage rites.
Immediately I knew she was the one in the story, because I already had several dreams were she left me. I pretended, I told her to tell her friend to "Follow Her Heart".

Last night she called, and said there's something she wants to tell me, I responded, "Is it what I already know?", she asked what? I told her she's getting married soon, and she said yes! I was speechless. I asked her for how long has this been going on, she said it started when she came to stay with her Aunt. We spoke, and I congratulated her, she started crying, I ended the call, sent her a good luck text.

This morning, she called and said she couldn't sleep last night. I asked her why she did it, why she decided to get married, she said she doesn't know. I asked if she likes the guy, she said yes. She couldn't stop crying and was saying I shouldn't leave her, while she's the one leaving me. I was totally down, but I have crazy friends. I WhatsApp a friend, told him what just happened, his words boosted me up. He said, " Support her, we move, no be God leave you". That was enough, but it's hard, really hard to move on without her, and she said the same thing and kept pleading I shouldn't leave her.
Now I'm asking, if I was the one who had left, what would have been the story? That I used her and dumped her, because this has always been used against the guys.
Why are women in a rush to marry? They don't even add value to themselves, I'm now 80% in agreement that marriage is one of the greatest achievement for a woman, maybe in Nigeria.

I created a thread sometimes ago about a recall from my former place of work, a bigger firm in the same industry with better pay. I thereafter left the company i was working with then though with a short notice and i forfeited almost half month salary and the little savings i had with them.
I was not confirmed as the time i left so i felt i'm safe but to my surprise the HR was calling me that i should not forget the balance i have to pay them in lieu of notice, this is so frustrating and the last time he called i had to shout on him to stop disturbing me. I tried to get across to few friends in the company and they confirmed that HR is just doing his own bidding as the MD is more preoccupied with more important issues than my case. Please is there any danger in this, note they are aware in my current organization how i left the company. Do i need to be worried for anything.

He is all shades of everything normal, ranging from been strict at decisions and corrections to been a loving, great and jovial fellow.
How careless and forgetful one can be at times, he proposed, I accepted.
It just occurred to me to check the genotype stuff.. I did it years back when i entered University newly but have totally forgotten it and there has been no need of it as my life journey proceeded but it is of essence now.
He is AS and if I am same, then I think something will happen to me because I don't know how I am going to unlove him.
His own feelings is worse if it should not work.
I am taking that step today to go check mine. I am scared.

I am a graduate of chemical engineering. I have some years experience as a chemical engineer in ethanol refining process and as well the beverage industry. So,I was sacked by the ethanol refinery due to something I know nothing about and I am presently working as a petrol station manager which I worked 2-days on and 2days off shift and earning a salary of 90k. Now ,the ethanol refinery just called me that they still need my service and the work routine is 2days morning,2days night and 2days off... I am to make the decision between now and monday....
That's why I need urgent advice from wiser and more enlightened people on this platform....
Please,I need a fast response because i don't want to make a decision that I will later regret
