Travel › Re: Nigerians In Other African Countries, How Is Life? by PaulH07: 6:43pm On Nov 04, 2023 |
digitite: Egyptians are not racist. They are the best people I have ever come across. In all my stays, I wore Crucifix and would enter the roughest of neighbourhood as a church boy in the midst of learned sheiks to do computer courses. What did you do to them ?
Maybe you go dey form Americana. Haha. They love Africans and you find genuine pan africanist there and sometimes they are frustrated at our slave like mentality. There is no office in Egypt that denied me any documents or favour.
I stayed in Wadi-hof, a stone throw to Helwan University and the military barack and would always visit Nigerians in Nasr city and Maadi. Infact during the Revolution that toppled Mubarak, my customers ( Egyptians ) called and asked if i needed anything and my landlords ( Black and Arab Egyptians would wait for my transfer that can take weeks to settle the rents ). Even when i came out to assist in securing the neighbourhood from runaway prisoners, they asked me not to worry and to go back to my apartment.
If you are familiar training with their footballers. We hung out at Wadi Degla, Zamalek academies and with top Nigerian stars at Arab contractors, Tanta and so on and countless of us that went on trials and transfers to Europe, Middle East, Asia and Australia.
Or na their solid babes you want marry ? Just look clean. More beautiful than westernised girls and they dont look down on you. If not for Israel , na them we prefer ooo.
Whats your experience ? Them dey give out their babes to outsiders for marriage or lashings? Me go like fvck Egyptian vagay oh |

nnewsnjobs: Go and sell your dollar, the peak time for dollar to go up was August, September and October, because we had very high demand during these period since most traders source for more dollars within these period to place order for good they want to sell during this December period. So from November, dollar demand tends to reduce a little bit, also by December many people abroad will come home with some dollars as well.
So I don't think we will have a very sharp further increase again, rather we should have a stagathering drop. Perhaps one should buy around that December and keep for the rainy days next year early 2024, when it would risk up again. Wetin you think? |

Athena6: So Nigeria have finally happen to me, I thought if I save a little to the 5M I have, it would be able to leave this country by next year.
But right now, it is impossible, I saw on Twitter how a lady was begging money for flight ticket which was about 2.2M, just flight ticket o.
Months ago, a relative of mine told me someone is looking for a dependent and he will connect me to the person, he said the payment was 4M and I was not going to pay much after that and I will stay with the person in the UK before I settle on my own but I was forming big girl saying I will do my process by myself.
Now look, dollar have increased, the money is now worthless, anyway when there is life, there is hope.
Nairaland please help me think of a business to start with 2M, I can't just leave the money in the bank to keep on depreciating.
Thank you You shoulda been saving in Dollars, that way you woulda cut your losses. Now you gotta invest in Naija to grow the Naira. You got no choice man. That was the plan all along, to keep Nigerians stuck in Naija. You go no where ma nigggar, we go chop smelly ofada rice together man... |

RingRoadCartel: Exactly! Who turns down free 10 Mill? Especially now that the breadwinner is not alive. A TV Station owner offered this woman 10 Million Naira, but the only caveat was that she will have to get a paternity test done at his hospital. If Mohbad is the father of Liam, he will wire her the money at the spot.
Till today, she hasn't returned his call after accepting to get it done. Only for them to publish a few weeks later that a DNA test was done and it affirms the child's paternity. The man said that he contacted Mohbads dad and asked him if he gave specimen to the hospital where she claimed to have carried out the test and the dad said NO.
So on who's DNA did the hospital use as base to determine the child's paternity when the grandfather didn't give specimen? That's what informed Mohbads dads recent clamour for a DNA test. I believe Nairaland even published it yesterday. How you take know say the man na Mohbad papa sef? Fear women oh... |

Jobs/Vacancies › Federal Government Residency Training Or Lagos State Health Service Commission? by PaulH07(op): 1:36pm On Oct 22, 2023 |
Hello my fellow Medical Doctor colleagues. I'm a medical doctor currently in residency training, and have spent 10months in it, but I've sort of grown tired of the whole rigorous training, and just landed a Lagos State HSC job.
My problem now is the FG intends to increase our salary by 35k difference compared to Lagos State HSC, but I'm just thinking of joining the latter cos of the lesser stress involved in it, compared to residency training.
Besides the main goal in my career has always been to Japa, which would be quite strenuous going the residency route, except I'll go with the UK residency exams the Royal College that is.
I'm in a limbo right now and don't know what to do.
Fellow Doctors, and sundry should kindly advice me on how to go please.
Thank you. |
