The pattern of teaching the bible in churches no doubt constitute church doctrines some of which are geared towards giving church members false hope of prosperity and freedom from poverty. For instance, all pastors on pulpit quoting scriptures are not interested in you church members knowing the nitty gritty, the comprehensive understanding of what the scripture is all about, but their aim are always to let you know that if God could do all those great miracles in the bible, certainly he will free you from poverty, shame miraculously.
Now, that is what is call a false gospel.

The man is confused

It appears that certain scriptures of the bible contradicts and a lot of Christians have find it difficult to understand why the bible will say one thing and it appears a different view is said in another scripture pertaining to the same issue, this has caused many Christians to have divergent views thereby arguing among themselves what are the right scriptural positions.

For instance,

Romans 4:2 For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God.

And another one says

James 2:21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?

The first scripture says Abraham was not justified by works but by faith
The second scripture says Abraham was justified by works not by faith
It appears that these two scriptures are in contradiction to one another but hear this:

There are two dimensions of the bible message and these two dimensions exist independently of each other, it's like two sides of a coin showing two different things, yet one coin.

The first dimension has to do with the spirit, remember God is a spirit.
The second dimension has to do with anything within the physical perception.
So, when Romans 4:2 concludes that Abraham was justified by faith not by works the justification thereof was strictly of the spirit dimension and has nothing to do with the physical dimension.
And when James 2:21 says Abraham was justified by works his justification thereof was strictly of physical dimension as works in that context refers to any good work where men sees and approve, not God. So, his works will never take him to heaven.

Why am i saying this?
A Christian once saved is forever saved except he deviate from the faith along the line of his life on earth because faith falls in the spiritual dimension.
This means that there is no amount of sin he commit that will make him loose his salvation because his faith has nothing to do with his works.
His faith is of the spirit dimension of his justification, the only thing that gives him eternal life.
His works(good or bad) is of the physical dimension of his justification into the approval or disapproval of men, not God.

It follows that :
Matthew 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart... (it's talking about the spirit dimension because God is a spirit.)

Matthew 22:39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.(it's talking about the physical dimension because your neighbour is a physical being)



John 18:36 Jesus answered My kingdom is not of this world... (it's talking about the spirit dimension because the kingdom of God is a gift of the spirit)

Revelation 11:15 ...The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.(it's talking about the physical dimension which refers to believers on this earth.

All these are long talk, there is nothing like born again today.
We are saved by our faith through Christ.

You will recall in the preceding part of that scripture, that it was someone who asked Jesus the question " Are there few that will be saved? " Luke 13:23

In response to the question, Jesus told his disciples " strive to enter the gate" verse 24 (it was the disciples that Jesus told, not us today)

So, what was the gate?
The gate in the context of this scripture refers to time, it is a metaphor.
What is the time?
It was the time of establishment of the new covenant through the dead and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

So, invariably, what Jesus was telling his disciples was that, they should hold unto their believe in him until he died and resurrected, that is the only way they could be saved.

Now, why will Jesus use a word like GATE to refer to his death and resurrection?
It's simple, the word Gate was appropriate for the entrance of the kingdom of God, therefore his death and resurrection which marked the commencement of the new covenant was metaphorically the Gate of God's kingdom here on earth. That kingdom represent people, about 120 of them in the book act. Act 1:15.
That was the origin of Christianity.

Now, I'm taking time to explain all these for those Christians who still think that one kingdom like a place will someday come down from above, or you will be raptured someday to meet one imaginary kingdom in the clouds, there is nothing like that.

Knowing that you don't have anywhere else to go but here, you have to fight for your right here.

You have to tell the oppressor, enough is enough, hence #EndSARS

You have to stand up for justice and equity

You have to join the revolution and protest against evil in your society.

Jesus during one of his public preaching said "the Kingdom of heaven is in your midst" Luke 17:21

But why would Jesus say such a thing when all the things God promised them about the kingdom is not yet seen? Well it's because Jesus the future King of that heavenly Kingdom and his Apostles who will become the foundation stones are standing there that very day! Revelation 21:14

So Jesus was right to have said the kingdom of heaven is in the midst of those faithless people, but that doesn't mean that their kingdom will be seated on earth, the seat of God's Kingdom is in heaven {Revelations 14:1} yet the rulership will be extended to the earth {Revelations 14:6} that's why Jesus taught us to pray saying "let your Kingdom come" {Matthew 6:10} God's heavenly government will soon extend it's works to the earth and then the earth will become a Paradise just as it was in Eden! Psalms 37:29

Likewise, the Kingdom of God is not part of this world and it is not currently ruling over this world. It only has citizens who are in this world.
