The man called them meeting recently in preparation of the school resumption, after the meeting, the man called her aside and told her to overlook the students immoral behavior that trying to stop them will make them loose students

That he doesn't want the kids running elsewhere to register for waec, that if the behavior is too bad for her to beer that she can quit

The bible says in john 10:10 that
"the thief (devil) comes to steal, to kill and to destroy." It further said in Matthew 25:14.
"Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels."
The devil has been known to be a destroyer of peace and life, and hell fire has been said to be his final home specially prepared for him.
The issue is the devil has sent many souls to hell, and he still moves about seeking for more people to devour before he joins them there after his final judgement.
My question is what if the devil decides to repent of his evil ways and reconciles with God, what happens to those who died in sin and what happens to hell prepared for him and the fallen angels?

I'm not the o.p, but it is believed that Abraham's bosom was the place where the souls that died before Jesus stayed. At his death this souls were taken to the present heaven with Jesus as the first son. I would have loved to post many bible verses about this mystery but I don't have the time. There were life transactions between God and mankind and those transactions were his covenants.
Whatever covenants God had with mankind before Abraham will not be my reference, but starting from the old covenant


Genesis 15: 6 Abram believed the LORD, and he credited it to him as righteousness.

So much more, every Christian believing in Christ in this new covenant that we are is counted for us as righteousness.

Now, having said God's covenants are life transactions between God and man, the new covenant through Christ was the finished transaction that gave us life.

John 19:30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said,It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

Then how come that some Christians today are still expecting rapture, end of the world from God even when Christ has finished his covenant with us, could that not be them trying to scam God?

Please, there is nothing left for God to do again after sending Christ, he has done everything and the transaction is closed.
For you today to start expecting rapture, end time, Armageddon or whatever, you are crossing your limit.

Use the life God has given you today and be useful to humanity and this earth, the world needs you.

As for this scripture you quoted : I'm not disputing that a Christian cannot fall away from his faith and looses his salvation. But all I'm saying is, while the Christian remain a Christian without denying Christ he remains saved forever

The man whose hand is already on the plough cannot be labelled "unbeliever". He is saved and on his way to heaven. However, he looked back, which means he's a backslider and was declared unfit for heaven.

what does it mean to backslide?
It means going back to continue with the sin one has repented of.
That has nothing to do with this scripture you quoted

The same way Lot's wife who was held by Angels on her way to safety looked back at Sodom and Gomorrah and became a pillar of salt.

And what was the kingdom of God then?
