I see where you are coming from - its from the organised, evangelical, pentecostal religion. This is no more Christian than Judaism. It is essentially man made. You are only used to be it because you don't know anything else. Its where you first heard of Christ so it is understandable. ( Let me let this pass)

My point is that the true church does not defend itself because it has nothing to defend. Its approval comes from Christ not from the people of the world so why should it defend itself?

Its agenda is christs - it has no agenda of its own. Since it has no agenda of its own. It has mo plan to be defended. When we are filled to defend the faith once delivered yo the saints- it is to develop the basic and fundamental pillars of faith, not what our pastor or prophet said and certainly not the reputation of any assembly! Let me leave you with a scripture that settles this.

" Being reviled, we bless, being persecuted, we suffer it: being defamed, we entreat: we are made as the filth of the world and the offscouring of all things to this day. I write not to shame you, but as my beloved sons I warn you" 1 Cor 4:12-14

When we are persecuted we flee, we do not defend ourselves? What are we defending? Is this our Kingdom and is our inheritance in this world? Don't make the mistake of joing the politicalized "church" - its end will come together with the world it says it hates but whose ways it practices with fervour. Yes you may lose your freedoms, you may be marginalised, rejected, derided and chased from pillar to post. But what does that matter to you? Are these not the promised things that bring the end? Is there one place where the Lord said we should defend ourselves from unbelievers? Just one.

We can become what we hate when we choose hate over love.

How does this make the church look stupid? Who instituted the idea of quarantine - was it not the Lord God himself? It is this type of hyper spirituality that is costing the church. Where is Christian finance? Where is Christian architecture? How has the Mosaic law impacted laws all over the world. In the hyper word of faith spirituality you demonstrate here you lose the church contribution, set it at odds with science and set back its tremendous gains in all fields because uou cannot admit that believers can get ill.
