Americans have a personal vendetta against Kenya. The warnings cannot be ignored for sure but they forget they have serious international investors all over esp downcoast who are used to the warnings. Only the cowards take off when US does this. The cowards die fast. One dead in terror attack at a Mombasa nightclub The attack happened a day after US Embassy issued warning of an imminent terror attack on Mombasa. Mombasa is a hot spot because it's Arab dominated. Where the muslims are,the risks are high.But as you can see,their acts speak of corwadice. A lone silly somali throwing a homemade grenade at revellers. And it always happens in night clubs. Kenyans aren't scared.Let the americans pack and leave fast.I hope the planes are fully booked. |

Many rships are so wrong because some men confuse poor self esteem with humility and a confidence with pride in the process they have used quality women as girlfriends and ended up with confused ladies as partners. Good girl to many men is the girl that swallows all the crap and pretends the guy is a good guy. Heavy and thank you [b]Andromida [/b]for highlighting this. Start with basics because they are the foundation then build on that. eg. Confidence,Boldness,Hygiene. Those to me are basics and physical. The rest are subjective because Romance means diff. things to diff.girls. So first woo her with your confidence and boldness. Next understand what makes her tick. Then build on that and she will be happy. If you happen to meet another girl,repeat the basics,Understand what makes her tick and build on that again. Its tiring but that is the challenge that comes with dating. |

luckgames: Have you done some self assessment to enure you have not contributed to the failure of the relationship?Lemmie summarise it by saying,he has tried to woo me back for years but I have stood my ground. Only a dog goes back to it's own vommit and God knows how much I gave in that relationship.Not only for him but for his sisters. I was acting 'mother' to his sisters who were older than me and had kids!!If I tell you what I went through trying to encourage them you would think I was insane. They respected me cz I was there when there bro was trying to kick the hell out of their lives. I washed their babies,visited them in hospital,picked one's baby from a pit latrine,(that one was just a mad case)got admitted to act as mother cz she had gone into hiding,plus many other things. And all this while I was in college! I used to pass by their home to help out cz I loved and pitied the guy. And to add salt? it was my first relationship. When a man openly admits that his anger knows no bounds and that he's is to blame then what do you say? He admitted that he is not in control of his anger. His own sister I rem told me to live him! can you imagine? but I wanted to be there for him because I had seen him change from a deprssed man to a lively one in the course of our relationship. That is brief. The biggest lesson I learnt was this 'don't fall in love too fast no matter what or don't fall in love because of a circumstance. I strongly believe that circumstances made us meet and we tried to 'create love' out of it.Wrong! |

Sagamite: You women are the ones frequently with the responsibility for choosing and determining if a relationship would start.I have never picked a guy,Actually he pursued me through thick and thin. And when I got to know him we were just friends. But he had a very very rough and sad past. Not criminal but cruel and abusive dad. I started seeing those traits in him later into the relationship.He was a dove outside,very cool,but full of anger unexplainable. Exploding kind and very bitter.I think his past haunted him. I am sure I pitied him and wanted to see him happy.But NOTHING could soften his heart. Instead my heart suffered as I tried to warm his! Some people are just rocks and cannot love. |

sagamite I was once in a relationship where I was trying too hard to keep it going. It was already dead but I wanted him to walk out first without ever blaming me for not doing my part. And the more I tried to do my best,the more I became weak and drained within because it was not being reciprocated. I lost myself in the process. Well eventually it was over and it was the best relief for me. My life came back. I look back and think I was either stupid or blind. But I am glad he's only got himself to blame. That is why I doubt that you can ever please a guy except he chooses to and I can never sweat to please or win somebody's love. |

Girls like guys who know stuff. Guys who have been there, done that because they are experienced and know how to deal with real life stuff. They are not theoretical cz those who talk a lot without actions bore to death. To a girl it sort of gives them a sense of security because the guy is a fighter and will never allow anybody to bully her or himself. LOL I once told a guy that he is too nice for my liking.You know he was very careful with his words trying to make me feel like some goddess. What he didnt know was that he was boring me to death with his 'carefulness'. Now again it doesn't again mean that you become crude and ruthless. Just a bit Masculine and tough.Not sissy like. |

I think 80 something and I know all of them in person. My criteria? well if I get a request and say you are only a friend of my friend I don't really bother cz I know nothing about you. FB for me is a chit chat 'get to catch up with people I know place.' Now I cannot claim to be an oprah,Besides I love knowing how each of my friend is fairing on and the only way to do that is to keep the numbers minimal. Other professional sites exist where I keep serious biz friends. |
