LATEST NEWS MAKING HEADLINES>>>> Aid agencies in funds appeal for Dadaab refugees

https://www.businessdailyafrica.com/image/view/-/1452018/medRes/378710/-/maxw/600/-/73y4t5/-/families.jpg

A family at Dadaab refugee camp, northern Kenya, inside their small shelter made from sticks, cardboard and plastic sheets. The camp faces a critical funding gap of Sh2.1 billion ($25 million), which is affecting at least 200,000 people, a group of eight aid agencies have said
Just look at how these cretins smiley let their women and kids suffer while they boast of investing in foreign lands.
You are pathetic and stink to the high heavens.

The population of refugees at the camp – mostly made up of Somalis - has increased by a third in the last one year to more than 465,000 people; further constraining the scarce social utilities and infrastructure available.

The impact of the funding shortfall is already being felt by refugees across Dadaab who can no longer access adequate food, shelter, education water and sanitation forcing many to live in temporary and overcrowded tents; and over 70 per cent of school-going age children are not attending any school.

“The funding shortfall means people who have fled unimaginable suffering are not getting the care they need. As well as the human cost, there is also a cost to security in the region,” said Mr Stephen Vaughan, head of CARE Kenya.

“If children are not going to school and if people do not have proper shelter and other services, this has the potential to fuel further militarisation, violence and instability,”
SEE HOW YOU BURDEN THE WORLD? IF YOU CLAIM TO BE THAT RICH, undecided WHY CANT THE WARLORDS DOING BUSINESS PROVIDE BASIC NEEDS FOR THEIR OWN PEOPLE INCLUDING YOU INSTEAD OF LIVING IT TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
JEEZ WHERE DID YOU PEOPLE COME FROM COZ I SEE UR BRAINS ARE FILLED WITH KHAT.

It's only a somali that can get into my nerves when he boasts. No one else.

190: i'll go first,
I think since sex became cheaper love became more difficult to get and maintain
in the days of our fore fathers, love was genuine, every lady out there knew her worth
but these days due to presence of the media, most relationships are forced downwind as a result of
trying to copy the white man's culture,

I think Most Nigerian relationships fail as a result of poverty, lack of commitment, concentration, cheaper sex
and lastly Lack of God within most relationships these days
How many people out there actually pray with their partners, could as well sum it up to Nil (0)
these little tins matters, you find most people dashing to pubs/clubs with their partners but not churches/mosques
and expect something tangible outta that relationship, God cannot be fooled!!

lemmie be honest with u dear.
This will speak out of experience. If you are called to do any work and I mean any, even if it means picking up calls and all they give u is a phone and plastic tray, please DO IT.
I have learnt a lot.I see many people with big cvs but they prefer to be employed in senior positions because they feel 'learned'.
Truth is it's better to start from bottom and climb up because you learn a lot of patience and perseverance.
My very first job was at a cyber cafe. grin doing secretarial work and a lot of things I really hated.I even washed the toilet, mopped the floor cz we were only two of us working in turns but I was idle and needed some experience. I dint have major expe cz I was at home.
I learnt IT at the cyber, yet I never studied it. When my first job interview came I ran very fast and the first thing I was given was a comp.
I was asked to type some stuff and print in a certain fomart which I did and passed.
That job opened so many doors that lead to my present one.
Do not despise small beginnings. At times shed off that 'image and degrees' and get ur hands dirty. Learn all you can where u are and ul be suprised by what lays ahead

Jobs/VacanciesRe: How Did You Get Your Present Job? by pendo89(f): 6:17pm On Jul 10, 2012
I was working for a local company in partnership with an International one.It was a contract actually.
The local partner without my knowledge was somehow involved in fraudulent activities. I was the odd one out since they had this 'Mafia group' in the office that kept things to themselves. They lived and ate big.
I never knew what was cooking so I felt really sidelined and bullied.Infact many any times I came close to throwing in the towel because at times the operations manager would force me to do work outside what I was employed to do.I felt really bad and stressed.
Well eventually a major key client complained to the HQ of the parent company and contract was stopped after investigation revealed stuff which also shocked me.
Their case is still in court cz it involved evading tax.
The company was downsized and lost clients, but guess what? I was the ONLY staff who was taken up by the Parent company because my record wasn't tainted.
I was promoted, given salary hike, new office and we moved out together with one Manager who was also 'clean'.
We now have another partner but I somehow 'supervise' together with my immediate boss because that is what my job entails.
And the first job? I was employed to hold on for somebody on leave.I outsmarted her and they couldn't let me go. She wasn't sacked just promoted.

I have learnt how to be patient cz u never know what is cooking.
And one of our partners is in Nigeria.lol wont mention cz they could be Nlanders.
HealthRe: NEW BORN BABIES! Are U A New Mum? Then Lets Discuss Babies Here!!!!! by pendo89(f): 4:37pm On Jul 10, 2012
If u can do away with dummy suckers try to do so.

Disadvantages;

Speech problems - Sucking on a dummy during waking hours means that babies miss out on the essential babble and chatter that plays a vital role in their early speech development

Dental problems - Daily use also has implications for teeth development, particularly in older infants. Teeth can become deformed and may not grow properly, leading to problems that have to be corrected later on.

Ear infections - There is some evidence that the frequent use of dummies can cause infections of the middle ear

Stomach bugs - Diarrhea, vomiting and other stomach-bug type infections are also more common with babies that frequently use dummies

Nipple confusion
- Use of dummies on a daily basis may also interfere with breast feeding, either by causing nipple confusion (whereby baby finds it difficult to adjust to suckling on their mother's nipple after an aesthetically shaped teat) or by reducing milk production in the mother as a result of less comfort feeding.

At least that is all I could google, but just let the baby grow freely with lots of freedom. smiley smiley
HealthRe: NEW BORN BABIES! Are U A New Mum? Then Lets Discuss Babies Here!!!!! by pendo89(f): 4:28pm On Jul 10, 2012
lemmie chip in a bit

Stress can affect the milk supply so if ou are a new mummy please learn to relax and eat well.Tak e plenty of fluids like chocolate milk and avoid coffee.

Do not overwork because that too brings about stress.

If your mind is at peace and you are eating well then you will have abundant milk. smiley

Castos, pls stop using sucker 4 ur baby@Ayobarmy,hs ur wife tried pap, kunu & palm wine?is she bursty?cos some women dat r bursty, their bosom dnt flow well.
I second that. From what I know and have seen big bust doesnt translate to lots of milk if anything its viceversa because the breasts are usually fatty.
Seen women with pea shaped breasts produce milk like a fresian cow while big busted sweat to squeeze.

Will also tell you why young ladies run after married men.
1. They are mature
2. Financially stable
3. Experienced.
4. Been there done that
5. Less demanding and less pressure
It runs both ways.

Why do married women run after young boys?

1. They have energy and love exploring new things
2. They are bored of routine
3. They want to feel young

Why do young boys run after married women?

1. They are mature and experienced
2. Less demanding
3. Financially stable at least some
4. They provide comfort and mother them
5. The young men hate responsibility.

And this is how Aids spreads fast,we bring neglected kids,we abort left right centre cz nobody zips up.

THAT IS WHAT SEPARATES MEN FROM BOYS

People, do u know what annoys me most? When ladies come up to tell me such crap above "when u start equating with money. Is it not the same women that said "love no be for mouth na by ur pocket and how much u are willing to spend on them" spare me that trash pls.
If women are to be spent on, I have all rights to compare them with other expenses I make. During our mothers them time, it was love, love and love, not money, honey money, boyfriend's money. What's all this.
Enough of all this trsh women come up to tell us online looking for cheap sympathy.
Once u make it regularly to my LIST OF BUDGETS or EXPENSES, u are, can and will be compared with everyother thing on the list. I can even say, women and drinking which akes or consumes more money.
ON this forum I see boys who lack the natural ability to impress and woe a woman. They believe in spending a fortune to win a woman.
Once that is done, they spend more to keep her since there is nothing else glueing the relationship except money which is here today and gone tomorrow.
Then a more moneyed fellow comes along, she dumps you for him,and you come online calling all women rubbish things?
Talk to men like the one above and ask them how they won jewels and stop being bitter with women.
When you spend foolishly you do it out of your own will.So who is more foolish here? Truth be told there are women who want ur money b4 they vamoose.
If you can't discern and be wise what does that reduce you to ? A loser.
Up your dating skills. If you can't God have mercy on u.If he can't am sorry.

FamilyRe: A Wife Or A Car: Which Is More Expensive To Maintain? by pendo89(f): 11:59am On Jul 08, 2012
The day you start describing your wife in monetary terms is the day you start losing it.
You can't quantify emotions and convert them into monetary value.
The day you start seeing her as an expenditure/liability signals the beginning of trouble.
The day you start equating her to non living things is the beginning of failure.
You can't place human and non human things on the same scale and expect a fair judgement.
Everything is just wrong from a conscience point of view.

To be fair you should have compared a mistress with some girlfriend. Both are human.
