I also think Mr Peter Obi can be a good president but he is presently not showing interest in being president and it seems he wants to be vice-president to Atiku.
Calm down!

2023 is still far away.

If things fall in the right places for Obi to declare, he won’t hesitate to do that.

Lol Tinubu reputation? Orji Kalu is convicted. Abi Na convict wan come de rule is now?
Convicted for doing a little percentage of what is Tinubu’s daily routine?

And besides, a court of competent jurisdiction has ruled that his conviction was in error and as such there was no conviction in the first place.

So OUK is with his full rights and privileges as a citizen.

What do you mean can’t work? Stupid pdp should shut up, just merge with other parties & stop wasting our time politicking. Useless Party.
Did I read you say “stupid PDP”?

I guess you are blind to numerous reports of APC governors pressing Buhari’s neck not to sign the Bill.

Direct Primaries would be too chaotic to manage with parties not having adequate register to monitor and determine the credibility of results.

That section should be yanked off. And I’m pretty sure it would.

Putting Nigeria first would be the first and only premise that would make PMB give power to Tinubu in 2023 but if you think otherwise I dare you to name one person that is capable of leading Nigeria right.
How’s Tinubu the only criminal in Nigeria. I thought it was PMB that helped Abacha stole Nigeria dry? PMB that made himself minister of petroleum so he could loot Nigeria dry?

Why are you IPOB so confused?
Well the moment you begin to call Buhari by his name Buhari and not Jubril was the moment I realized you guys are just zombies. To even think you are still supporting the Kanu that told you such lies. I mean what’s a leader if his word don’t mean shit ?
Why do you keep making bad choices in life?
So with Tinubu’s reputation, you really think of him as the right person for Nigeria in 2023?
Politics › Re: Direct Primaries: INEC Rules Out Government Funding For Political Parties by Penguin2: 6:08pm On Dec 02, 2021
That Electoral Bill should be sent back to the NASS abeg.

It’s obvious that Direct Primaries can’t work.

I was in Ebonyi State yesterday and I was shocked at what Umahi did. I have been seeing pictures on the social media until yesterday I was on ground. Below are some of things I saw in Ebonyi State:

1. Umahi is currently reconstructing and expanding road that leads into Abakiliki around that army barracks into an 8 lane highway.

2. I passed through Ohaozara and I saw the health university he is building there, a massive structure with a huge flyover along the highway close to it. I also saw a massive noodles factory he is constructing there. All the side roads in Ohaozara were fully constructed with cement and not even a single road there was bad!

3. All his roads and flyovers are strong, durable and aesthetically pleasing to behold. I saw them and remembered the ones Rochas built in Owerri and I became very angry at Rochas. How could he do this to Imo people?

4. Umahi ensures that virtually all the roads in Abakiliki has flowers and trees planted at the medians and the sides. They also paint the medians green to make it beautiful.

Unfortunately, there are fewer cars on the roads with lots of okada and Keke everywhere, and the city is yet to witness private sector investments.

Meanwhile, remove the Supreme Court imposter. Imo State does not have a governor yet.
Umahi is good.

Lol!

By now you should understand that as much as we want power to shift to southeast, characters like Orji Uzor Kalu is not one of our candidates.

We want to give Nigeria one of our best and not just anybody who can win election.

If PDP wants to woo anybody back, they should woo Umahi.

But all those are not necessary when there’s Peter Obi. PDP should give Peter Obi the ticket and pair him with Kwankwaso. I bet my life savings that they will win the elections.

If the present government is not doing things right, the big question is, who brought the government?

Answer: Tinubu.

Tinubu must never be allowed to benefit from the failure of Buhari by projecting his stupid self as the savior that will correct Buhari’s ills.

Politics › 2023: Buhari Should Choose Between Loyalty To Tinubu And Loyalty To Nigeria. by Penguin2(op):
One of the most reoccurring bargaining chip for Tinubu proponents is the fact that he was instrumental to Buhari’s victory in 2015. Rarely do they talk about his capacity and integrity. I guess because they know he is bereft of those.

Now, as the 2023 elections hits top gear with pressure on president Buhari to repay Tinubu’s goodwill, it behoves on Buhari to choose between loyalty to Tinubu and loyalty to Nigeria.

Should Buhari hand over Nigeria to a criminal because the criminal helped him win elections?

Or would Buhari go for a person with proven integrity and capacity to deliver Nigeria out of the dungeon it finds itself.

So which loyalty do you think is more compelling on Buhari?

Those idiots should choose between wearing hijabs and becoming a nurse.

The security situation in this country is no longer funny and everybody has to security conscious to know who is behind the mask.

I’m sure that 90 percent of the idiots wearing hijabs in the nursing department would jump on the opportunity to practice nursing in the US, UK or Canada. These are countries where they won’t wear things like that to work but they will be forming stupid nonsense in Nigeria.

Guy, whether Tinubu emerges president or not will not affect my progress in life. Buhari's tenure hasn't stopped me from progressing in life, therefore I reckon a Tinubu presidency can't be worse, it can only be better. Unlike you igbos who appear to be staking your very existence, political relevance, and survival on Tinubu's ambition.
Listen to yourself and you will know you are lying to yourself.

Do the Igbos look like they will be affected by whoever is in power?

We are a people who have survived the worst of things in life.

Our aim is that since Tinubu took upon himself to work against what he thought was benefiting Ndigbo, we will stop at nothing to make sure that what will benefit Tinubu does not come to him.

And how is Tinubu preventing those names you mentioned from also contesting in the primaries? The only reason I can deduce for your rabid antagonism against him is your fear that he stands the best chance of clinching the party ticket, a likelihood that terrifies you Igbo haters. He has as much right as any of those you listed to also aspire for the presidency. Know that and know peace.
I did not say he is preventing anybody from contesting.

I was just replying to Legendhero who said because Shekarau supported power shift to the south therefore he is supporting Tinubu. So I needed to let him understand that there are many other presidential materials in the South.

And guess what, they are all better than Tinubu.

Stop dreaming ..
And shekarau is supporting Tinubu? grin.. based on what?
Who gave shekarau judgement from Icpc before he went to senate?

Power going to south means so many thing to Northerners..
do you understand Hausa language .. not translating politcal words to Manipulate your fellow Yoruba that lives anything to massage ego..

Ogbeni .. shekarau is never Tinubu ally .. all through Tinubu visit to Kano.. shekarau never came near talk more of kwankwaso..who personally “ hate” Tinubu..

As for Atiku.. note this .. if he survive Pdp primaries.. Atiku is then your President .. take this to the bank.. anybody that survive pdp primaries is your president .. and it’s a Northerner..
North will always que behind their own .. just as the Yoruba word keep resounding daily in the north .. that Yoruba don’t betray their own.. let see how north will betray theirs .. knowing fully well this not 93..

This my friend is the last of Apc... e go play like movie

Tell Tinubu to declare .. Nigerians are waiting for that February

And mark this .. by November 22’ ... Only Tinubu and Yoruba people will remain in Apc
Lol!

You know one thing with those folks is that they like to lie to themselves.

Like in 2015 when they knew Buhari was an empty brain but went ahead to support him because of Osinbajo and Tinubu and because they hope Tinubu will succeed Buhari.

They stupidly play the ostrich instead of facing the truth.

Like you said, Tinubu must contest. If he doesn’t contest then shame on him and his urchins.

The important players are coming out openly to show support and the only advise I can give the opposition is that they should get to work and stop being bitter daily.

Insha Allah, that 2023 will meet us all alive and naysayers will know once more that “there is no polling unit on social media”!
Nobody ever said he won’t contest.

What we have been trying to get into your heads is that he will fail woefully.

Lol Shekarau that was even the first person to clamor for power to shift to the South. I’m sure you’ll agree with me that he’s not taking about Kalu or Okorocha when he mentioned South.

You better start campaigning for Obi Pandora or better still start su*king Atiku cum like you guys did in the previous election because time is ticking.

By next year, Jagaban will declare interest. I don’t want to start hearing funny wailing by that time o.

https://www.vanguardngr.com/2020/12/2023-south-should-produce-next-president-shekarau/amp/

There’s no Osinbajo?

There’s no Fayemi?

There’s no Amaechi?

There’s no Umahi?

Are you guys ok at all?

I’m sure when he was spewing this trash he hasn’t heard that court has sacked the ojoro state EXCO they installed in Kano.

Kano APC is now under the control of Ibrahim Shekarau who doesn’t give a hoot about Tinubu’s inordinate ambition.

The earlier Tinubu urchins realize that the BAT can never fly, the earlier they will save themselves from heart attack.

Tinubu ambition in the mud.

The parties should decide how they want to chose their flag bearers.

In 1998, the Alliance for Democracy (AD) opted for direct primaries in Lagos because there were strong candidates not willing to step down for each other (Tinubu, Late Funsho Williams and Late Wahab Dosunmu) and in Oyo State the same party used consesus to unanimously picked Hon.Lam Adesina as the party flag bearer.
I can place a bet that Buhari won’t sign the electoral bill.
Politics › Re: APC Splits As Faction Attacks Buhari, Sacks Buni, Names Audu As Chairman by Penguin2: 9:12am On Nov 30, 2021
oyatz:
How old were you during the 1992 primaries of both SDP and NRC as well as 1998/1999 primaries of the parties when direct primaries were used.

In 2011, the defunct CPC used direct primaries and it backfired.
Money bags like Mohammed Abacha who just joined the party few weeks to the primaries was spraying money for the largely poor members of the party in Kano, thereby beating dedicated and preferred party men like Jafar Lawal Isa.

This polarized the party and led to the defeat of Buhari's CPC in Kano, Kaduna, Katsina and Bauchi States.

My grouse however is that the methods (direct primaries , Indirect primaries by delegates or consesus) adopted to select party flag bearers should be at the discreption of the parties and not a function of the electoral acts.

Nigeria always abuse almost every good policies we copy from saner climes.
That’s my point too.

Allow the parties decide how they wish to choose their candidates.

And your narration of what happened with CPC in 2011 has shown clear demonstration of how Direct Primaries is not the panacea its proponents are projecting it to be.
