sageb: my man, i remember vividly all these, you forget to add the Soku wells conflict. Soko oil well was NEVER an issue, it was all propaganda. The people in Soku are Ijaw, GEJ is Ijaw, the Bayelsa governor is/was Ijaw. Amaechi's primary interest in Soku was money and not the wellbeing of Soku people. As a Rivers Ijaw man I was in support of Soku remaining in Rivers state. The case started during the tenure of late DSP Alamieyeseigha and Peter Odili. Amaechi lied when he claimed Jonathan tried to take the wells for Bayelsa. It was a struggle between Amaechi and his Bayelsa counterpart. Both wanted a greater allocation. I doubt any of them would have benefited the people of Soku. |

Try and differentiate politics from reality.
Moreover you need to take my advice as the standard as what should be. There is NOTHING like differentiating politics from reality. His first and last names are Igbo, he said he is Igbo. We should respect that. |

MelesZenawi: Just stop spreading the unverifiable info for now.
You can say Amaechi is Ikwerre or a Rivers man..
That's is okay and more perfect. No, I won't! He said he is Igbo. I won't deny him of his Igbo heritage. |

MelesZenawi: No he is not.
He is Ikwerre.
Stop spreading fake news. He said he is Igbo. This is not fake news. Either the Ikwerre are Igbo or he is an Igbo who happens to be Ikwerre. Whatever angle you choose to see it , Amaechi said he is Igbo. |

TheGoodJoe: That is a lie. Amaechi was suspended from the part for about a year or two before deciding to leave to save his political career. Do not change the narrative.
Amaechi was betrayed by GEJ, despite Amaechi being one of the best performing politicians in the History of the region. An action which turned out a political suicide by GEJ. Amaechi carried out anti party activities, it was obvious for everyone to see. The truth is, if Jonathan had the mindset of a typical Nigerian politician, there was NO WAY he would have 'lost' 2015. People would have died, perhaps even Amaechi. We thank God he was not like that, I hope Nigerian politicians change their negative attributes for good. |
Politics › Re: Rotimi Amaechi: Unemployment Drove Me Into Politics by PHijo(m): 9:23am On May 17, 2020 |
TheGoodJoe: Apart from lies, how did anyone know Amaechi was promised VP slot, when Amaechi himself knew it was never a possibility?
The problem was that GEJ was too dumb to tell a lie from the truth. As soon as they lied to him that the best performing Governor, maybe the best in the History of Nigeria was promised his position, he stupidly reacted and started fighting one of the strongest politicians in the Niger Delta. GEJ drove Amaechi from PDP. Not the other way around.
Get your facts right. Amaechi decided to leave PDP. Short and simple! |
Politics › Re: Rotimi Amaechi: Unemployment Drove Me Into Politics by PHijo(m): 8:47am On May 17, 2020 |
TheGoodJoe: I am resident. Who promised Amaechi vice presidential slot? That is not true. Amaechi was not in the political picture until he was suspended by GEJ. He was a core PDP man.
People lied to GEJ against Amaechi and the man waged a war against Amaechi based on rumours. Amaechi was strong in the camp of PDP. His decamping to APC was leaving the ruling party.
Apart from the rumours, Amaechi had not done anything to GEJ before GEJ started fighting Amaechi. So tell me, who betrayed who? Probably I are not conversant with the politics or you are biased. Amaechi 's war with GEJ even started before Jonathan became acting president! Amaechi, Sylva and Uduaghan all worked against GEJ before he became acting president. Uduaghan was ready to reconcile, the rest were not. The truth is, whatever has happened has happened and it will define Bayelsa/Rivers politics in many years to come. Many who support Wike today do not support him because they like him, they take offence in Amaechi's actions. In fact, prior to Amaechi's betrayal, barely anyone disliked him in Rivers state. He was forgiven for the role he played in Odili's 8 years of waste, waste in all ramifications. |

Politics › Re: Rotimi Amaechi: Unemployment Drove Me Into Politics by PHijo(m): 7:47am On May 17, 2020 |
TheGoodJoe: It is the other way around. GEJ used his office to influence Amaechi losing his role as head if Governor's forum. GEJ used his influence and got Amaechi suspended from PDP. GEJ used his influence to make it hard for Amaechi to continue delivering as a Governor, including using military.
Amaechi had to leave to APC to save his political career. Even though GEJ betrayed Amaechi, everyone turned on Amaechi for betraying. I ask, who betrayed who? You are distorting history! It was Amaechi who picked up a fight with GEJ because people like Tinubu promised him the presidency or vice presidential slot. Most of you are not from Rivers or were not resident when this happened. |

You are nothing but a brain dead brainwashed DOTARD. You have been brainwashed to the extent that you drink up any trash thrown at you. You lack the simplest of capacity to decipher complex issues yourself. Just listen to the trash you posted, blaming everyone but the incompetent Jonathan govt for fuel lines and borrowing money just to pay salaries. It's buffoons like you that will be wailing and crying that Buhari wants to borrow to build you bridges and rail line but it was ok for Jonathan to borrow just to pay SALARIES.
Hey dumd dumb, my best suggestion for you is to head to the Lagos Lagoon and put yourself out of your miserable existence. Pls do us all that favor.
STFU and GET LOST. It is you and your type that will perish in Lagos lagoon! I am a child of God, I don't suffer, my life is not miserable, was not miserable and can NEVER be miserable. Your suggestion just tells everyone the kind of low life you are, if not for reforms the PDP embarked on in the 16 years they were in charge, your type will NEVER have access to cyberspace, let alone be rude to me. |

Osidazz19: The sad thing is that unfortunately we have too many delusional retarded brainwashed idiotic monkeys like you on social media posting trash. In 2015 before Jonathan handed over to Buhari, there were fuel lines all over the country, States were unable to pay salaries, Jonathan and Nwela both have stated that they had to borrow money to pay salaries towards the end of the administration. Yet, delusional brain dead monkeys like you will come online and be posting rubbish for your fellow brain dead idiots to clap for. I have included some links for you, that's if you have the capacity to read and comprehend simple articles. Imagine a govt borrowing money just to pay salaries, not to execute capital projects BUT TO PAY SALARIES. And this idiot calls that a fighter jet economy. Dumb ass monkey.

https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2015/05/150506055148505.html The sad part is that we are forced to share a country with brain dead beings like you! According to you they borrowed to pay salaries, so? What difference does that make? People like the being you want us to believe is a solution, instigated anti subsidy protests, making the country vulnerable. Ironically, 8 years after, those same brain dead, power hungry beings have promised to remove subsidy. How about the multiple exchange rates by the Buhari government? Search for oil in Chad basin? Failure to adhere to rule of law? Etc I won't be responding to you again, it is obvious you don't come from a place one could call a home. If you are enjoying Buhari's loot with him, know the blood of millions is on your head and that of your evil principal. It is 5 years since he took office, till date he has no achievement he could count on. |

Osidazz19: He's asking the govt to takes these measures in 2015 when the govt was barely able to stay afloat and meet its financial obligations. Salaries were not being paid, oil was around 28 dollars a barrel by end of 2016 to 2016.
If you give a broken down car to the best F1 race car driver, there's nothing he can do with it. You cannot give a F1 race car driver like Hamilton a Honda car and expect him to compete with other race car drivers driving Ferrari cars built for racing. It is just unfortunate that there are many ignorant Nigerians like you! Buhari didn't get a broken down car! He got a fighter jet but when you give a maiguard( gateman) a supersonic fighter jet to pilot he is bound to crash if he manages to figure put how to take off by accident. Buhari was bound to fail, he lacked knowledge for the task and surrounded himself with equally ignorant folks. A man that failed in 1984/85 can't do better NOW! |
