Politics / Re: Gani Fawehinmi Rejects National Honour (OFR) by PiMpjUiCe1: 4:50pm On Dec 29, 2008
bettes:

I still stand by what i said earlier, the fact that Gani rejected an award does not make him honorary to me(my personal opinion),there are people like Akunyili, that whether they recieve or reject awards will always be regarded as heroins to me,who knew that a regulatory body like Nafdac existed before she became DG (i didnt know).
I particularly lost a little respect for Gani when he represented Dele Giwa's family at the Oputa panel and he came with Dele Giwa's picture and started weeping as if Dele Giwa died in his arms, too much theartrics.

And those posters that claimed that Gani did not criticise EFFCC during Ribadu's reign, should go and look for 2005 papers before they start arguing with authority.

enuff of lame talks pls, cos gani criticized ribadu dont mean he hates ribadu, cos i beat ma son for erring dont mean its ok for every1 to have a go at him, and what do u know about loyalty? that gani shed tears at oputa tells a lot, dele giwa's death is sth thats still hurting the man, if u care to know, they were comrades. they done been thro stuffs together, that u didnt knnow about nafdac be4 dora shows where u coming from. maybe it not even worth replying to ur post sef,
well, like u said, its just ur opinion and u sure have ur right to it, so enjoy it,

Foreign Affairs / Re: An Iraqi Throws A Shoe At President Bush by PiMpjUiCe1: 3:27am On Dec 17, 2008
i dont post much on here cos of the way discussions degenrate but i have to say sth on this, there is no other reason for bush going to iraq but for oil business, only ignorance will make u think otherwise. For God's sake, bush's family does business with osama's family. his elder brother was with elder bush and some of halliburton executives on the day of 9/11, IRAQ HAD NO CONNECTION TO 9/11. if bush needed som1 to pay for 9/11 it shld av been saudi. but he dares not attack saudi cos of his famly's business interest there, go and find out, bush's family and their associates have benefitted mor than any other family has from the war, cheney's last job was on board of a defence contractor company that is the dod's number 1 client in iraq, if u dont know whats going on dont talk too much, dont look at issues from surface, bush sent that fool called powell to lie to the UN, till date, no weapon of mass destruction in niraq, during saddam era, alqaeda and co dared not near iraq, ryte now they rule, look, to be heady and impulsive dont make u a smart man, his was has dragged d world into recession and u r here talking trash, abeg i wan go sleep,

i dont want to start talking about which is better, bush era or saddam era, i think iraqis shld talk for themselves, from all they are saying, its obvious, they've never had life this terrible, its easy for u to sidon for ur comfort zone and say iraq is a better place now, i think no one who hasnt experienced the two eras in iraq has any moral right to judge, only thos who have shld talk and we all know what they are saying, if ur son steal ur money u go yap am pray for am, if thief come rob u, u no go carry gun shoot am? tats whats happening, better robbed by ur own person than be robbed by an outsider,

FYI: i hate the way these radical muslims go about disturbing world peace but then, pluck my eye i plpuck ur own is what has caused the chaos we live in now, ROBERT KIYOSAKI GAVE A PROPHECY OF A RECESSION NOBODY LISTENED, HE TALKED OF THE WAY GOVT SPENDING (IN PARTICULAR BUSHES POLICIES AND SPENDING) WILL RUN THE COUNTRY DOWN. THEY CALLED HIM MAD, WHO'S THE FOOL NOW

NYSC / Re: Should Female Corpers Be Banned From Serving In Banks? by PiMpjUiCe1: 2:59pm On Dec 12, 2008
its funny how people post dumb comments here on nairaland, all in an attempt to make sense,
i havent seen 3posts close to addressing the issue,
true, he chairman's talk was dumb. more true is the dumbness in most posts here, that he raised the point only goes to show that he acknowledges there's a problem with the system. his dumb suggestion is atypical of our leaders so he should be excused, its left to us to debate and profer reasonable solutions, however, we should ask ourselves:
1 who's exploiting who?
2 where are the nonesense NGO's that go around about women rights when a woman gets beaten or when she's denied of sth they deem rightfully theirsw
3 why aren't the womenfolk complaining?
4 did it have to take a man to complain about women right? (

this whole thiny doesnt make sense to me,
and to those that say the ladies dont have a choice, how about moving back to the village to work on a farm? before u jump on my back, farming is a very lucrative business, ask obj!

Politics / Re: Niger Bridge May Collapse Before Christmas. by PiMpjUiCe1: 3:36pm On Sep 30, 2008
check y earlier post and check with th picture above and ud see how much of a bastard obasanjo is. then u should understand tha its not an hausa/ibo agenda, there u have a bastard yoruba man(d only1) in the midst of the worst of 9ja's leaders(note that they are notherners), inasmuch as some nothern senators and leaders have not left any doubt in any1s mind as to their perception of other nigerian tribes, u shouldnt say there's a gangup/conspiracy/whatever the Bleep u wan2 call it against the ibos or others, the question u should be asking is, what have he ibo leaders done to tackle the injustice. have we not had ibo men in top places in this country.

the thing is, nigeria as an entity is not wll structured, this much hwas admitted by the man who movd the motion for nigeria's independence, see this http://odili.net/news/source/2008/sep/27/203.html ,
bottomline is naija is sick, so stop crying wolf and start suggesting realistic solutions,
Politics / Re: Niger Bridge May Collapse Before Christmas. by PiMpjUiCe1: 11:53am On Sep 30, 2008
truth is i try not to be tribalstic at times, but when a frustrated tribalistic man starts generalising then we got serious problems to deal with, for u to generalise that yorubas and hausas are in a sort of alliance against the ibos only goes to show ur own ignorance.
here's a little lesson from hstoryy.

if u r one of those who believe awolowo and d yorubas betrayed the ibos during biafra then maybe u should ask ojukwu why he invited awolowo to come join him in a war awolowo was not prepared to fight. what would u have him do? join u in a war u planned and were prepared for. he was too  smart for all that. no businessman will invest in a business he's not sure of,

then the issue of obasanjo, ask ur fathers who are conversant with history, obasanjo is a well known bastard yoruba man, he has been since awolowo summoned all yoruba top ranking military officers to brief them of ojukwu's pland and sought their opinion,  Obajo was first to raise his hand to speak, quoting him, he said, " i swore to defend the integrity of the nigerian nation not yoruba nation", i guess that explains why he and the awoist will never agree on anything, he didnt even win the presidential primary in front of his house in 1999, yet he had sweeping victory in iboland. what the Bleep are u now talking about, oh boi dont bleeping talk about my people like u fcukingknow them inside out cos u dont bleeping know ish. and truth is it wont bleeping go down well with some of us who have a little knowledge of how 9ja was and has been. u should be blaming ojukwu for not being a good strategist, bleeping idiots, una don make me curse mor dan i ihave done n the last year, mad men

9ja's problems is like a cas of parents(Federal Govt) with 36children(states) who all depend on 3 or 4 of their rich brothers. Its is comon sense that no matter the depth of wealth of the 4, they will soon be wrecked. the earlier the parents use the money sent home by the four rich ones to educate and empower the others, the better for them all, and if the rich ones send money home andd d money is squandered by the poor ones, is that not parasitic? monkey dey work baboon dey chop, imagine say poor educated egbon dey rake for rich aburo say if not for money e for no dey talk to am like dat, den u go work for ur money too. oloriburuku somebody

Business / Re: Power Crisis: Senator Calls For Ban On Generators by PiMpjUiCe1: 1:06pm On Jul 18, 2008
Truth ( I think) is, the ban on generators will defly send d generator cartel out of business and make every1 sit up. itd be inconvenient but itd defly lead us on the serious path to final solution. i suggesed this same ban on facebook group about nepa and some dudes said its madness. but please, lets not be selfish but think long term instead of our short term inconveniences. it will be crazy but it will surely mean gen importers will have no more hold on the country. they r dictatin d direction of d country whereas PHCN is dying,, if it happens d oda way round we will all benefit( thats if y'all pay ur bills anyways). pay as u go is best for ngerians as long as thy cant hack it. the pay as u go metr in a couple of people's houses that i know, has been hacked so now anoda loss for nepa. 9ja problems just coplex. we have too many mad men in this country than normal. the leaders are even btter than the so called followers,
Romance / Re: Does A Broken Home Affect Future Romance? by PiMpjUiCe1: 1:23pm On Jul 09, 2008
it sure can. its not enuff to not want to repeat same trend. Question is what steps have u taken to make sure u dont fall into the same pattern. believe me, you dont wish away scars, u treat them and hope and pray they go away. Encouraging thing is, they do go away most tyms. u could be a product of a broken home and not have many issues to deal with if ur parents did well to shield u from all the wahala and der own troubles.  but when u grow up in a civil war situation, there must be scars and it takes conscise and concerted efforts to heal d wound.

i am a product of a civil war of a home. even though i have good knowledge of what i want and want not, there are tyms i see familiar(scary) patterns. am still working on me. But its a good thing cos av come to realise that most great men are products of adversity. It started from bible tyms. so am proud of where am coming from.

na by force to go CU. that they disobeyed school rules goes to show how decadent our society has become, even if they r whoever they have been brought up to be outside the school walls, they should respect the authority in charge of them within the school walls. whatever they chose to b outside the school is their palava. If u cant walk the walk why sign up for it. AWON OMO TO TI BAJE OMO JATI JATI, well, i guess its enuff to ojust admit that no matter how hard u wash a pig, it cant stop being a pig. awon omo oshi,

Properties / Re: Why Pay House Rent In Advance? by PiMpjUiCe1: 2:35pm On Jun 15, 2008
anoda thing is, f the govt can make the environment conducve enuff for mortgage businesses to undertake massive housing developments( not all these 30million naira houses on lekki o), there'd be housing boom and people will surely laff. imagine a scenario where there is always lite for businesses to run on. imagine say businesses make and keep enuff mony to pay staff and keep business afloat, tnants will always have money at month end to pay rent. landlord will always have money to cater for his family.
imagine say we get credit bureau with central databse of borrowers and then a tenant defaults in ikeja, how e go run ngo vgc knowin that all it would take is for the landlord to access the database and see if creit status, tinubu has always canvassed for thisn and i hope one day they'd get to do sth abt it. read in businessday that yaradua is thinkin in that line. story long but i hope to see this in nmy lifetym.
Properties / Re: Why Pay House Rent In Advance? by PiMpjUiCe1: 2:17pm On Jun 15, 2008
U know, i try not to get personal in a debate but when i sense selfishness, ITK mentality, foolishness based on monkey exposure from trips outside 9ja, ignorance of how things work, i get pissed the eff off.
i am a landlord and tenant too. i own my own and run my IT business. Believe me, i have enuff experience when it comes to these things. 9ja people are bad creditors. they will never like paying bills even when the money dey there. i could be guilty of that at time too, so i know its there(no point pretending its not).
imagine a young man like me selling laptops and phones to bank "big bois". the arrangement is they'd pay installmentally for 3months but 2yrs after, we still dey play hide and seek over the last nstallment. at times second and last nstallment becomes wahala. i go call lawyer everytimme i wan colet 50k?

truth is, its crazy to have to pay rent u dont have yet. but how for do when the whole system is bad? u cant let the landlord take blame and pay for a deffective system. dont always blame d landlords and dont always blame d tenants. see it this way. what if we had a good database system, good welfare system, good credit system and functionall property laws, effective law enforcement agencies(police and courts), steady power for businesses to run on so they can make and keep good money for operation(includin payment of salaries). the tenant wont have an excuse for not paying rent and so d law can take it ourse on him if he defaults. he wont be able to run from keja to vgc cause all his prospective landlord need to do is a lil background check to know his credit status.

speaking as a tenant and landlord, i think 1yr or six months is ok and payment must always be upfront with a grace period of 1month, max!

so long!
