I ve been frustrated so many times but I will never think abt suicide. Even if u wanna try it, I will think abt ppl looking up to me. That's enough I'm telling you. Never say never. All i have to do to get you to commit suicide is to find what you value most in life and take it away from you. Then find a way to make you believe there is no hope you can ever get it back or nowhere you can turn to. This is what makes people do it. Hopelessness. |

Everything in the country is just terrible at the moment. I spend about 20k every 3 days these days. The day buhari will die, I will jubilate. Sani Abacha's administration was far better than this sef. For you to understand, you need to understand causality. You guys have been looting since the first day of independence. Even if you are not old enough to witness a lot of it at least you have ears. Listen to fela's songs and tell me what is the difference between what he was saying in the 70's and what is happening now. You've had a wound on your leg for years and refused to treat it properly. Now that it has gotten to the point of amputation you are crying. Part of the reason you guys are in the mess you are in is most of you don't think logically. Plus, a lot of you have amnesia. You forget too quickly. |

It is plain common sense to conclude that when something is bad, it will eventually get worse if you do not fix what made it bad in the first place. |

Instead of to waste time and energy to tell these men to stop which they won't we better make the best out of it. Go to Swiss banks and Uae and see Nigerian money at work. There's huge capital flight from this country through corruption but if they keep these resources in our local banks, banks will have funds to give as loan without asking arm and leg, this current scarcity of forex won't happen this way, it will be easy to recover them without signing bilateral agreements and stuff. Hope you see it from my point There is no justification for looting. None at all. |

farem: As long as we have leaders who exhibit divisive tendencies like politically aiding and promoting personal ethnic and religious leanings above others. Rather than allow them to grow and develop at their natural paces, NIGERIA CANNOT MOVE FORWARD One of the best things my father instilled in me was taking responsibility for the outcome of anything i am part of. Even if i am or was not a part of the decisions which brought about the outcome. Good or bad. It has made me a better leader today. The failure of Nigeria falls at the feet of every single Nigerian. Just check the thread alone and you will understand. See the divisive tribal comments. How does a country become great with it's citizen think the way Nigerians do? No one can lead Nigeria out of the predicament it is in because even the young one's mentality have been corrupted. Until Nigerians collectively change the way they think, things will only get worse. |

o42austino: Lol... This people are funny.. Obi what?.... The Peter I know hate stealing of public funds and must compare every contract before approval for the low bidder with proven track record or work done. Peter was the first governor that invited police, DSS, ICPC, EFCC and Ndi Anambra yo a big Hall to give account of his stewardship before his hand over, there he handed everyone present a very big volume of books contain government bank accounts and list of expenditure and contract done and ask the security agency to do their investigation to know if all he told them was the truth and nothing but, the truth.
That's why EFCC has not dem it fit to invite him when all this politically motivated petitions started flying in because they know the truth.
This Is the guy that single handedly moved Anambra forward and first ever introduced Anambra developmental blue print which this present administration is using, his the first with in conjunction with UN habitat to map Anambra out with its cities both old and new, so that building will not intrude into reserved areas for farm and industries, this is the Governor that stop linkages of public fund via waste full spending by head of Agencies in Anambra.
This Is the first governor in Anambra that link all the major ruler Roads in Anambra and build them even with the suppression and oppression he received from OBJ and the Uba Brothers headed by Chris Uba.
Financial prudence is his watch word and he is hated by political jobber in Anambra state for not sharing state funds that's why they nick named him Aka Gum(Gum hand) ,because he refused to share state money and refuse to spend money unwisely.
This Is a guy that made investment for Ndi Anambra so that we can have alternative ways of generating money apart from Federal government money, he made sure he left billions of Naira in reserve in view that oil price will fall.
I know all this for sure because I was staying at government house Awka as a student of NAU then. Because you stayed at the Government house in Awka means you know the man is not corrupt. Were you part of his cabinet or a co signatory to any of the contracts signed? How do you people sleep at night? |
