If they say he ATTEMPTED to interfere, but did not succeed in interfering, so that vindicates ? Which country are you from ? Nigeria? It's like saying that if someone tries to rob a bank but failed Because of the bank's robust security system , then that robber is not be convicted of any crime. He didn't succeed in interfering because that country has a robust system to checkmate people who try to interfere with the course of justice. |

People are convicted everyday for Conspiring to commit a crime. The Premiere just wanted to give a soft landing by demoting him to a junior portfolio. From there, they would ease him out. |

But..in any situation you find yourself, after you check front and back you still get reason to thank God..
Wetin I dey talk self.. Lol. If you have to thank God for every situation you find yourself, then it means , 1. God is impersonal. The universe trudges along whether you live or die, in good fortune or in bad fortune. 2. Prayer and other supplications are redundant and worthless , because , obviously, God's universe is neither run on nor influenced by prayers. 3. As such, religion or the worship of any deity is also a worthless exercise . 4. Therefore, Cause and Effect are the only drivers of reality and our lives. For good or for bad, Man is the Supreme Master of his destiny. As it is true for individuals, so it is for nations. Nigeria being a prime example. The fortunes and travails of individuals and nations are not by the machinations of sky gods, earth gods, water gods or fire gods, but by the immutable laws of Cause and Effect. |

Interesting15: God is very good to us, despite that we don't deserve the least of His mercies. He has been furnishing us with constant goodness (even those that are yet to know Him are also enjoying this). It's wisdom to pause occasionally and reflect upon God's goodness towards us, and this should propel us to worship Him in spirit and in truth.
Here are some things you should thank God for today.
1. For The Gift Of Life
Some of those who saw the new year with you are now dead and couldn't see this month. In fact, there are people who slept last night but couldn't see today. Thus, that you are alive today is a function of God's Grace. Many of those that are dead are much better than you are. Worship God for the gift of life. And always remember that one major reason He has enabled you to see today is so you could take a step closer to Him in an intimate relationship, before the end of today.
2. For The Gift Of Salvation
Because of Love, GOD decided to come into the world to reconcile us back to Himself through Jesus Christ. And the Bible says, 'For GOD so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life' John 3:16. If not for Jesus coming to reclaim for us the authority and dominion we lost in the garden of Eden, we would still be under the bondage of sin, the devil, hell and everything negative.
3. For The Beautiful Things He Has Given Us
First, as we embrace Jesus Christ as LORD and Saviour and we yield to His Holy Spirit, He makes us alive in the realm of the spirit, and we became kings and priests unto God, exercising dominion on the earth realm. He gave us the sweet Holy Spirit Who keeps helping us in all ways. Also, GOD has blessed us with great and wonderful things (a beautiful family, cars, houses, thriving business, flourishing ministry, etc,). Thank Him for these beautiful things. He is a good God Who keeps blessing us with pleasant things.
4. For The Wisdom In His Word
The Word of GOD is a great blessing to us. If we live in accordance with His precepts, we become wise, and we enjoy eternal life. The Bible should be given greater priority above all other opinions and thoughts. Also, be always eager to hear what God is saying to you per time. You will keep experiencing true peace and prosperity.
5. For The Glory He Has Prepared For Us In Eternity
GOD is not myopic. Rather, He has prepared glorious things for us beyond time and this brief corrupt world. We are aware that when we die, or when Jesus Christ comes back again, we will be alive with Him in eternity, and we will enjoy glory and bliss forever more! Glory to God! Remember, only those who have embraced Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior (and are living a life of holiness) will get to heaven, while sinners will walk into eternal trouble. Appreciate GOD for giving us Jesus Christ to take us to eternal peace.
God is good. Amen
https://www.sundayakanni.com/2022/02/5-reasons-you-should-be-thankful-to-god.html Today, there are people who meet sudden undeserved death. There people sitting at kidnappers den right now, and many more will join by the end of the day. Bad fortune will befall a lot of people today as will Good fortune will also befall a lot of people today. For the people who already in unfortunate circumstances and those who meet such today, to whom should they be thankful for or apportion responsibility for their fortunes ? Life is beautiful and dynamic. Some days bring us good fortune, some days bring us bad fortune. If God is to be given glory for our lives and good fortune , so also should God be damned for our bad fortunes and death. |

Acidosis: Another anti church report. How does going to church or listening to prosperity messages relate to ritual killings? How many of these so called ritualists can you connect to any church in Nigeria??
This is why I personally attack some senseless Christians. Obviously, this report was written by a southern Christian. You blamed your church, you blamed pastors and priests, but left out the main perpetrators of ritual killings in Nigeria. Oh my dear friend, I have been shouting it from the rooftops since the 1990s of the destructive effects of evangelical Christianity. Sadly, I feel vindicated for all my predictions about how prosperity preachers and the magical thinking they fiercely promote would eventually eat deep into soul of this nation. Today, with a minimum of 5 churches in every street in allost every city in Nigeria, this country predictably lost it's soul. If you believe that a particular church or particular pastor or particular monetary sacrifice to church or pastor can magically transform your life( money ritual my definition) , then you are mostly to also believe the words of a native doctor that other forms of sacrifice can also bring prosperity to you. It is the same magical thinking, the only difference between the level of desperation. Magical thinking promotes more magical thinking. If you fall for pastor's BS, then you are vulnerable to fall for the native doctor's BS. |

adenigga: As President Muhammadu Buhari settles down to the last lap of his administration, which elapses on May 29, 2023, he has told a gathering of businessmen, civil society organisations and the media that he looks forward to when his tenure would come to an end.
Buhari, who clinched power in 2015 from the then administration of ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, said he would like to leave office having consolidated on his achievements so far.
Some of the areas he said he would like to leave a legacy is bequeathing a strong repositioned agriculture-led, diversified home-grown economy, with a stable democracy and revamped armed and security forces.
He said by handing over the reins of power to his successor in 2023, he would have enabled democracy to thrive uninterrupted for 24 years.
Buhari said all these on Monday, at a dinner in honour of the 2022 Committee of Business, Political, Media and Civil Society Leaders, which held at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
According to the President, despite inheriting enormous problems upon assumption of office, almost seven years down the line, he could look back with satisfaction that this administration has kept faith with the people.
He gave himself thumbs up, saying his administration has done well even amid dwindling resources for reasons that are well beyond their control.
Buhari also said he was eager to leave a legacy for a united, peaceful, and prosperous Nigeria with 24 years of uninterrupted democracy.
”I am gradually entering my final year in office. It is a period I intend to spend not only on consolidating on the achievements of the past seven years but also to leave a legacy for a united, peaceful, and prosperous Nigeria.
”I take this initiative to mean that you all intend to collaborate with this administration in that direction.
”For those among you who are politicians, you must look beyond gaining power to how you can leverage public positions in the process of societal change. To the businessmen and women among you, there is great glory in public service.
”The question that should be uppermost always is: How do we leverage our business endowment for the greater good of our country?
DAILY POST recalls that Buhari was in office as military Head of State between December 31, 1993 to August 27, 1985 and was succeeded by General Ibrahim Babangida also as military Head of State.

DeepSight: Yes there are many extreme and ridiculous conspiracy theories out there - and also with regard to Covid-19. Nevertheless I am a little wary of those who denounce anything that has a tinge of conspiracy in it on account of only that. Because the opposites of conspiracy theorists are not objective rationalists - the opposites are those who are so extreme in the other direction that they dont believe humans ever conspire at all. Conspiracy theories, almost by definition are irrational, almost like religion. They ignore all known facts( information easily available in the public domain) and project beliefs as truths. Sometimes a very little thinking is required to see that something doesn't make sense. They also try to sell the notion that they are privy to something Secret that no one else know. It is always a make it up as you go thing. They are like Nigeria prophets. They tell you a prominent person is going to die this year or that something tragic is going to happen. |

DeepSight: Do you think Covid-19 was/ has been blown out of all proportion. Absolutely not sir. Infact, it aways better to err on the side of caution. For good example, very often I get sensations on my chest. 100% of the time it either heartburn, muscle cramps, or cold related. Each time it happens, it makes me anxious, scared that it might be heart related. Each time, I stop whatever I'm doing and go to my doctor. Each time the doctor checks my BP, heart rate, lungs and occasionally ECG. And Each time the doctor assures me thar my hearth fine and healthy. Each time I go home relieved and ready to continue my hustles. Would you call me overly paranoid over my health ? Sure, go ahead and call me paranoid. But at any given period of time , I hear and know people who suffered cardiac arrests died. So why shouldn't I be paranoid about my health? This is the way responsible governments around the World feel about the health and safety of their citizens, especially in the face of a global pandemic. The last pandemic killed about 30 million people. Now that we the advanced medical science, technology and information, it behoves every responsible government to go above board to safeguard the health and well-being of their citizens. So, in my opinion, the governments and health authorities should do the same over and over again if the situation warrant it. |
