Kagd10:Do you really understand the meaning of enclave ? Or is it just another big word you heard somewhere, and feel proud throwing around? You keep hiding behind words. Come out and say what you mean if you actually mean something. What is enclave? Do you honestly have one ? What is my enclave , and what exactly do you mean by " flushed back to your enclave? Low IQ slowpoke.s like just throw fancy words around, without even a feeble attempt to connect it with the topic in question. If this " enclave " is all you've really got in your skull, then I pity you the more. |
Kagd10:My bad. I should have known. A Limited-vocabulary mor.on. Unfortunately, Social media gives every moro.n a platform to express their daftness . |
Kagd10:A very daft response indeed. Such moronic responses usually confirms that the previous post, the one to which the mor.on is responding to, has merit. If you had anything remotely meaningful to say, I'm sure you would have said it. |
jesusjnr2020:No God protects anyone. What we call Accidents in Nigeria are caused by careless driving by one or 2 parties. If you got out of an accident alive, it would have to do with many different factors rather than any God going out of their way to save you. On the same day that he walked out of an accident alive, many others also died in different accidents in Nigeria and all over the world. The idea that God allows other people to die and then saves you is a delusion, a self-serving delusion, and one with which religious hustlers milk to the last drop everytime. |
AdamuKD:I keep laughing each time people try to give Tinubu credit for making Lagos this and that. I keep wondering if there is another Lagos or the same Lagos that I know and see . Even if, for the sake of this discussion, we are to accept the lies that Tinubu purportedly built Lagos , what is there to be proud of in Lagos? Lagos remains perhaps the dirtiest, most polluted and moat disorganized megacity in the world. It is one gigantic slum. Lagos, as a city, stsnds as an embarrassment to anyone who have been to cities outside of Nigeria. If the current Lagos is the best that Tinubu can do, then the case is already made that he's among a league of political dinosaurs that Nigerians should force into extinction. |
DOTian:I am beginning to really like her. |

Thank you litigator for shining a light on this matter. There are hundreds , if not thousands of Obi/Datta movements in cities across North America and Europe. They raise funds to host awareness events, picnics and Townhall meetings that sometimes include the candidate. These Obi/Datti movements are independently run and are free from any central coordinator. There are no directs links , administrative or financial, to the Labour Party of Nigeria. I am not aware of the existence of Labour Party outside of Nigeria. Therefore, to insinuate the Peter Obi or the Labour Party are raising funds from abroad is just a ruse by desperate BATists , obviously to obfuscate the fact that the have very little tangible qualities with which to sell their candidate. |
richie240:The experience is from the last townhall meeting we organized for Peter just about 2 wks ago, in a much smaller setting. Again, it is fund raising call for donations. Logistically, it also makes sense. These townhall events are held in rented hotel halls that have a strict capacity limit. If the hall has a capacity limit of 300 people, and 10,000 people are eager to come, other a lottery, the best thing to do is to allow 300 paid donors to event. |
seunmsg:I am also against charging people money to attend a townhall meeting. But to characterize it as Peter Obi charging people money is mischievous, just another attempt paint mud on Peter Obi. The organizers of the event make considerable expenses to host huge town hall meeting of that magnitude. The hall itself cost nothing less than $25,000. Security alone would cost anything in the neighborhood of $10,000 , plus other logistics expenses. Refreshments are also another set of expenses. The organizers use the event to raise funds to offset the huge costs of the event. |
666Advocate:What kind of stronghold does it take to cast a single vote for a preferred candidate? I'm guessing that by ' strongholds' you mean rigging machinery. You falsely assume that because I voted for governor A against candidate B in the last gubernatorial election, therefore that same governor A will now control who I vote for in the presidential election . That is a flawed reasoning. You are also blissfully forgetting the millions of people all over Nigeria trooping to walk or campaign for Peter Obi, that they too voted for different governors during various gubernatorial elections. It is extremely presumptuous, even arrogant, to make the argument that governors directly control the voting choices of their citizens. |
topcatking:Repugnant indeed. These gangs of parasites see and treat Nigeria as their personal fiefdom. |
Dalil8:Don't mind. I think , unfortunately, most people are so wired into the western media narrative of how things are run or are supposed to run, so they measure everything based on western media narratives. Time and time again have shown that the west, especially American media, know so little about Russia, their history, they way they think and the way they do their owns things. Russia is achieving and will definitely achieve everything they want to achieve in Ukraine. Yes, they might have grossly miscalculated the resistance, but they have been steady in getting their military objectives. |
VictorUSA:I think you're wrong, and basically going with the Western media narratives. Propaganda is perhaps the most effective tool in war. Former US VP Dick Cheney once said that the main reason the US lost the Vietnam War was because the US government lost the media and Propaganda. Demonizing and demoralizing your enemy has been time-tested and proven very effective. The US and Russia attitudes to war notably different. In Iraq for example, the US went all out to destroy everything in the shortest possible time as possible, because they were very sensitive to troop losses and political fall-out. As such, Iraq civilian casualties were fondly called collateral damage, removing the human part out it, so that the world feels none or little sympathy for them. The media was proactively embedded with the troops, to control the narratives and the Propaganda. At the end, they made the war seem like a fun video game. In the case of Russia vs Ukraine, the opposites are the case. Firstly, Russia didn't go to Ukraine to destroy the country. They went in there to cripple Ukraine's military capabilities, force Zelensky into exile, and install a Russia- friendly ally. Obviously, they miscalculated. That is a fact. But, I still think that Russia is taking a soft hand at Ukraine, simply because Russia sees Ukraine the way a strict parent sees a recalcitrant child. Not out to annihilate, but to spank heavily. In an all out war, I don't think that any NATO country can face Russia. A NATO vs Russia scenario is ruled because nuclear war would ensue. The idea that Ukraine is winning and that Russia is disorganized and confused is just the usual Propaganda we expected from the media during times like this. |
Dalil8:It's really that simple |
seunmsg:The offer is joke. Nairaland is worth certainly worth upwards of $10m. If Reddit can be valued in Billions of dollars, Our Nairaland , if fairly Valued based on its metrics, should also be in the tens of millions of dollars. |
Ttalk:Kperogi always gives one things to objectively think about. Just like a typical academician, he presents his case in an objectively variable format, unike the rest. |
Dsalvo:Funny that you and I came to the same conclusion. Reno, just like the rest of our political mercenaries, is another Janus-faced bigot( pretending to be politically objective) , prostituting for his own stomach infrastructure. |
BSdetective:You're a piece of shxxt Reno. When your region produced the president, which mindset did they reset , and which militancy did they renounce ? You have clearly shown that You're just like every other Nigerian political jobber out there, with no steady value system, just fishing for your next feeding tube. |
DeepSight:There is nothing new about foreign intelligence agencies meddling in the affairs of nations. Nothing new about that at all. One consistent trait about conspiracy theory Nutheads is the delusion that they are privy to important secrets that everyone else does not know. |
Insecurity:Useless conspiracy theory Nutcase is off his meds again. He forgot to mention that he is part of the rapacious Nigerian political elite that steal everything they can whenever there is an opportunity. FFK is as much an opportunist and a liability to our commonwealth as his political friends. |
JovialJune:Unthinking morons everywhere in this Dystopian jungle. Have you seen the autopsy report? Only an autopsy can determine her cause of death. If an autopsy report kinks her death to her husband's physical abuse, then surely , he should face justice. Your so-called eyewitnesses were eyewitnesses to domestic abuse, not manslaughter or murder. Only an autopsy report can categorically point to her husband's physical abuse as her cause of death. We are all upset at the alleged level of abuse the poor woman suffered in the hands of her husband, but we do not and should never dispense justice based on our emotional state of mind. If anger and rage become the criteria for dispensing justice, then YOU and I and Nigerian would always be in danger. Are we a democracy of laws or a we a jungle? It's looking more like a jungle. |
owukpa:Is Nigeria a jungle or a democracy guided by laws ? If emotions are used to for justice, then single everyone of us are in danger in Nigeria. So much has been said of this sad and unfortunate matter, but reason and due process seem to have been thrown out the window. Has an autopsy report been released to show the actual cause of death ? Is the husband's physical abuse been determined to directly or remotely connected to her death? Only an autopsy can show that, not the emotionally ramblings of social media commentators. Only if and when the husband's actions are determined to be directly responsible for the death should he be arrested and charged with a crime. If we all think that this charade is the way justice should be dispensed, then surely one day, any of us or our family members or friends would surely fall victim to emotional justice in this Dystopian Paradise. |
yyba:Yes indeed. He really turned Abia into a Japan, USA and Dubai, all in one. Don't mind that shameless fxxng thief. |
Kingsley1000:Agree. Since 1999, Abia State has been held hostage, first by the criminal and parasitic family of Orji Uzo Kalu, then by the more criminal and parasitic family of TA Orji, and now by the Moro.nic clowns of The Ikpeazu family. IPOB could have earned the eternal gratitude of the people of Abia state by dislodging these crime families from their parasitic grip of Abia State. Instead, they are trying to destabilize the Anambra State, the pride of the East. That alone, is clear enough evidence that Ipob stands for Nothing good in Igboland. Ipob has simply become a Special Purpose Vehicle for every shade of criminal in Igboland. |
adewale2011:Ease of doing which business ? |
Jakumo:Well said. Satiated with corruptly aquired affluence, this Cretinous son a Charlatan has the temerity to call his father's minions goats. Well, they all deserve what they get. |
oz4real83:Don't mind those utterly useless fools. When these overpaid parasites resort to legislating morality, that seems to Signal a capitulation, a surrender. An open admission that they lack the cranial capacity to grasp and tackle the complex issues confronting this nation. |
