RSI & MACD - RSI remains below 50 since April , indicating low bullish sentiment persits, no new money - hw'ever RSI making lower highs shows bearish slowdown - MACD sef remain below Zero line since march, same as above (bullish crossover below is usually weak, but we keep wacthing)
Moving Averages - Price remains below 10ema (36,491), 20ema (36,735) , 50ema (37,616) & 200ema (38,151) dis shows its bearish on all time frames - Looking fwd to wen MA's (moving average) starts to flatten out , or at least make price break above 10ma / 20ma - patience still , one must learn to wait and how to wait sef . .
IchiMoku - price broke below the Kumo cloud 23 March & remains below the Kumo cloud (bearish sentiment) nothing new here - price still de below d Tenkan-Sen & KiJun-Sen (google am lol) also no TK bullish xver ''YET '' (wen wee see am , we go blow d whistle lol)
General thots - Still in line with MSCI analysis by Yok ad others (kudos gents) - Index is likely to test 35 thousaaand level (also d 50fib retracement level, FIB pple can confirm dis) - but are we going there directly ... umm , or after a possible ''light ''bounce ??
- we hv pulled to far away from the 50ema, price is due for a pull towards it before continuation or consolidation or watever mkt decides - i think dis is the general mood shared by awon ''guru's'' in da hse , (pls index is also very skewed to d big caps)

Yayira: Aremso you need to read from 2016.. that ridiculous prediction has been a common thing on this blog that some of them end up missing a good entry price.. Funny thing is when they charge their armageddon entry price they’ll not say anything until they are done buying then Out of the blue you’ll just see change of tones.. Is it not ironic that the same people who are quoting prices and asking people to come back in December are the ones monitoring stock price every now and then. One would have expected that they will stop being active in the market until December if they actually believe their own rhetorics! |

swilo: Question please...
Which is a more favorable strategy from experience...?
a.) Use of stop loss or b.) averaging down
Secondly, what is a good stop loss percentage?
(the question may look naive but I ask to get honest responses based on experience) Stop loss for TA, averaging down for FA if the fundamentals are still intact. Stop loss percentage? That one depends on your experience and temperament |

currentprice: it is union diagnostic o. fundamental of the stock begin to look good to me, if they can maintain Q2 earnings going on we are looking at PE of 2.5 at year end. the thing that attract me most is the raw cash they held as at Q2. FCFE/ share 21kobo meaning as at last week if they trust what they does/bussines. they can decided to buy every single unit of their 3.5b outstanding share without borrow and wait for us to beg them to buy at high price in future.
i kept quiet to see if mention penny stock by CP on this thread only move price. but the assumption was wrong as pple have eyes outside this thread. 2 member of this thread that bought this stock can confirm dis as my reply to their email last thursday.
NB; CP did not buy based on my timing to come back to the mkt and based on my ogas advice against the stock that they may be planing to raise money
patient is the key, opportunities will always come
To know that I sold the stock last week after putting it on offer for almost a year is painful. I had a high expectation of the company when I bought it some years back because what the company does falls in to my area of competence. Along the line, I felt the management derailed from the company core business mandate and I was really put off. Then and then, I decided to sell with no buyer for more than two years. I stopped going through their annual reports again until last week when monkey hunter call my attention to it. They will be good going forward if the management think straight and are sincere. |

MonkeyHunter: My conscience is free and clear. I have only spoken for three stocks (C&I Leasing, Linkage Assurance and Union Diagnostic) and against one Conoil with clear justifications for my opinion. My comments are more often than not in response to people request for further insight into stocks and they are not for a one - two week pop in the price
Now let us look at the stocks again.
1)C&I Leasing (as Nomoney): First commented on C&I Leasing on the 23rd of November in response to MPeace statement.
"If the bolded is true then it is real danger. To raise 25billion by equity could mean rights issue or some other special placement that could see additional 20billion units of share or more. Hmm. If that is the case then this stock is an early candidate of 0.01. per share. Thank God for removing my interest from all these companies wey I no know wetin them dey sell. The 'excellent' result could be a ploy to lure both gullible and innocent investors into a long thing. Another DAARCOM loading, if true"
My response
An alternative view is that the authorized capital stays at 3 billion shares after the reconstruction given the reluctance to increase the paid up capital hence the reconstruction in the first place. If C&I Leasing intends to raise N25billion shares selling approximately 2.6 billion unallocated shares then on the average they intend to sell each share at approximately N10 or N2.50 in un-reconstructed shares.
It is up 82% since then and 213% over the last year. Price was N1.37 then and N2.35 now
2)Linkage Assurance (as NoMoney): First commented on this stock on the 10th of May in response to rational mind's statement
"Fine result, may not be sustainable though going by Q1. What's your fair price biko, mine is around 200% discount cc:Mcy56 (Insurance food don land grin)"
My response
It is sustainable actually.
Linkage Assurance owns almost 12% of Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers which makes up the bulk of it's value.
Stanbic Pension Manager's will pay Linkage N2.5186 bn as dividend for 2017 which will reflect in the 2018 results. Stanbic is the market leader in the Pension Administration space and any body that buys linkage is indiirectly buying Stanbic Pension Manager's at a discount.
I am still buying this stock and the jury is out on how this stock will perform.
3) Union Diagnostic(as MonkeyHunter): First commented on the 26th of July in response to Pluto09 statements
Just be careful. Just sold my holdings in the company this week after being trapped for many years. Na only aso savings remain now from my legacy stocks
My Response
This is suffering from the ignored stock effect. The share price has not performed in the past so nobody pays it any attention.
Union Diagnostic had negative retained earning for a couple of years (- N635m as @ 2015, -N320mas @ 2016) which has now been written off with the latest result. (+N157m as @ Q2 2018). The company is now in a position to pay dividend to its long suffering shareholders with a reasonably high dividend yield at the current proce
Market Cap is N710m 2016 PAT was N316m valuation wise it is pretty cheap. With the latest result it is on track to exceed the 2016 PAT.
The demand for their services (Medical tests) is huge, profitability has been consistent and growing steadily over the past 4 years and capital requirement is low with minimal debt. Float is 49% or N340m so slight buying pressure pushes the share price up.
One should not be anchored to the past but update the prospects of the company with recent information.
Cheers The monkeyhunter
Didn't buy this stock as it went on full bid before I could buy which highlight the reason why most people buy stocks before recommending the stocks. Recommended when it was 20k. Kindly call me out if anybody that buys below 25k is at a loss in a year's time.
4) Conoil (as MRTease): First recommended against this stock on the 10th of July 2017 in response to stcool
Huge Contingent Liabilities from lawsuits that can also wipe out shareholder's funds. Judgements have already been given against the company in lower courts. Kindly review last year's financial results.

page 54
One of this contingent liability has now crystallized. Anybody that heeded this warning should be grateful
Those are the only stocks I have commented on in the past 8 years and I can still defend each recommendation but you will still call me a MoneyHunter. You that you are not a MonkeyHunter please give better recommendations than the one I have given. That way this community benefits
I have explained the reasoning behind the adoption of the moniker MonkeyHunter. We need to be free to recommend stocks without being called names. I use recommendations in this forum as a pointer as to what direction in which I should focus my research. IF my research confirms the recommendation, I buy else I ignore.
If you have any issue with a stock I recommend please point out the issue with a firm basis for the objection as this might help me discover something I might have overlooked
On multiple Monikers, think of it as having multiple phone numbers or email address. This does not make you a fraudster. You need to post more often here. Your comments show that you are one of the few who read company annual reports through and through. After your post on union diagnostic, I went back to read the company q2 result and I knew I made a mistake by selling at that point in time. Decided to buy it back but couldn't get a single unit since then. |

owoblow77: According to Nairametrics: ‘’Honeywell has two business segment, Apapa, and Ikeja and it seems its future is dependent on what happens in its Ikeja segment. Honeywell’s Apapa division oversees its more profitable arm, the flour business while the Ikeja division is where operations of its loss-making Pasta making business is located. Of the N11 billion in operating profit it reported last year, N10 billion alone came from Apapa. Currently, Ikeja is operating at a loss while Apapa again is leading the charge with N7 billion in operating profit.’’
‘’The company expects its new factory in Ogun State to come on stream this year (earlier scheduled for 2018 Q1). The factory is projected to raise the total installed capacity of the company by 150% at its completion and will include 4 pasta lines with an installed capacity of 125,000 metric tonnes.’'
Currently I own about 100k units of Honeywell Flour shares. Now I want to invest about 2 million naira. Please I need an insider to help answer the below questions.
1. Why is the company trying to scale-up a loss making pasta line? 2. Why not simply install the 4 new pasta lines in Ikeja, hence you save on assets depreciation costs, human costs, and other associated costs that comes with starting-up a new plant? 3. Is the technology on the new lines the same as the old lines? 4. Is there any major change to the pasta (finished products) distribution network? Just be careful. My own concern is what they will do with the scaled up capacity. Competition is something else in that flour sector. And if wheat price should go up that is double wahala for them. |

Politics › Re: How Fayose Lost Ekiti by pluto09(m): 2:58pm On Jul 16, 2018 |
seunmsg: Fayose stupidly believed that Ekiti people are fools because we gave him a second chance in 2014. The 2014 victory got into his head and he felt he's one kind of political genius that knows it all. He quickly dismantled the united coalition that worked for him and made himself the alpha and omega of everything in the state. He failed to fulfil all his promises to political leaders in his own party and when they complain, he tags them an enemy and start victimising them. People who couldn't stomach such nonsense started leaving the party for him. Instead of retracing his steps, he became more hardened and told everybody that cannot accept his dictatorship to leave the party. More people left.
With his attitude coupled with the fact that he doesn't listen to the opinions of others, his downfall was just a matter of time. To show how stupid and arrogant Fayose can be, he publicly announced his preferred successor almost a year before the election. That alone gave his opponents both within and outside the party enough time to strategies against him. APC quickly reached out to those they knew would be aggrieved after PDP primary and reached a working agreement with them to defect once Fayose succeeds in imposing Eleka.
More foolishly, Fayose choose a candidate from Ikere Ekiti and still went ahead to create problem for him in his hometown by wagging an unnecessary war against Olukere, the traditional and spiritual head of the town. Olukere was arrested and locked up for some days in Ado-Ekiti few months to the election. Fayose's supporters openly celebrated the public humiliation of the traditional ruler without thinking of the political consequences. On election day, Olukere's supporters and the people of Afao-Ikere quarters turned up for APC thereby resulting in an almost equal division of Ikere votes. If Ikere had voted solely for their son, PDP would have won the election.
Apart from his crass arrogance, Fayose is also very stingy. He believed he can always get what he wants from people by manipulating them. In days towards the election, billions of naira was raised from PDP governors but Fayose sat over the money alone. Even Eleka didn't have access to campaign funds. Party members were complaining discretely since nobody could confront him openly. His stinginess also led him not to fulfil his N10,000 promise to motorist that agreed to park their vehicles in government house when Buhari visited the state. Most of the drivers failed to turn up for him on election day.
Finally, he allowed Adeyeye to leave the party. That was the last straw that broke the camels back. Adeyeye was the leader of the party before Jonathan hijacked it for Fayose in 2014. Adeyeye was placated with a ministerial appointment so as not to leave the party. In 2018, Fayose saw no reason to placate him. He instead ordered Mere Olayinka and his lackeys to attack him in the media. The outcome is what we saw last Saturday. You are truly ekiti based, not all those online writers who understand nothing about what is really happening in ekiti. Kudos. |

onegentleguy: Reading thru certain post here, Its clear to see and also believe that most Nigerians are BAD people. A few from amongst us here have a very ill disposed attitude and are ungrateful !! Heaven knows that all my post (including the revelations), was NEVER with an intent to deceive. ...not even a single one of them. Having some strong market/in-house contacts, I try to reveal what I hear or know and also guide with the necessary insider information ahead of time, so everyone can benefit from them. I wasn't doing them in expectation of any kind of reward in return. (don't need any from anyone) ...I was doing them because I sincerely wouldn't wish for any investor to experience what I went thru between 2008 and 2014. ...especially the not-so-knowledgeable ones. I still remember losing nearly 74M ( over 40% of which, were funds that was put under my control to manage as at the time) from the share price fall of OCEANIC BANK and many moribund INSURANCE COYS and over 9M from the Govts ill decision to nationalize AFRIBANK. ...including other heavy and very painful losses. My quest on NOT to wish those bitter experiences to any human, informed my decision and resolve to improve my financial know-how and also help with guiding as many as I could. Those who know me and who have in one way or the other benefited from the many advise I gave them, can testify that I NEVER accept to receive any gift or money from anyone. ...I simply tell them to try and extend unto others what I have done to them. (pay it forward) However, I can now see that some bad eggs here are very UNGRATEFUL, ILL-HEARTED and of a BAD DISPOSITION. I now also realise I should've taken the advise of 2 or 3 friends here before now. ...my good deeds have now turned against me !!
I shall do well to learn from this going forward. Nothing do you brother, the only thing I don't like about some of your posts is your " oversabiness " You need to put that into consideration going forward as there is nothing like certainty but possibilities in this game |

PAT at q3 was 13.4b and PAT at full year is 13..6b,indicating that the company did not make profit in q4.
