Crime › Re: Umar Hussaini Jailed 7 Years For ₦1.1 Billion Fraud by PoliteActivist: 9:40am On Mar 30, 2023 |
ReubenE: Thank you, but I did not miss that.
I don't think there is any where on our criminal code that absolve a criminal from paying in full because there is a suit in another court of equal jurisdiction. Striking out the case is even better than this ridiculous judgment It is this same court and judge that accused the ICPC of not being serious with the prosecution of the case sometime around 2020, the result is what we are seeing now after they've all connived to rubbish the process. Allowing the accused to go almost without any consequence because of double jeopardy argument is nonsensical, and what is the assurance that the second suit will be different from this one. WELL SAID! If most Nigerians understood this there'd have been an outcry and they'd be forced to stop these dishonest sentences that are based on bribery and pay-offs! |

Emmastan291: Umar Hussaini was jailed for 7 years for a fraud of 1.1 Billion.. He begged the court to temper justice with mercy...lol
He will pay N100 million as compensation to the victims of the crime, Yemi Obadeyi and Cambial Limited and N50 million fine on each of the two counts.
What happens to the rest of the money? 7 years is really small Gallaxy55: I know he would find his way out before the seven years. Let's say he even finish the seven years, what next? donpapa: A subtle way for the judge to retrieve the money for the victims. ✌️ Nice one judge I find it annoying that you people and Nigerians in general don't know what option of fine means. The man won't spend a day in jail! Here is what the sentence means: The man will easily pay 100m (from the 1.1B he stole) and be released. He'd then also eventually pay 100m to whom he stole the 1.1B from! ONLY IN NIGERIA!! Someone's punishment for stealing 1.1B is to pay 200m! If Nigerians understood sentencing language there'd have been a riot and they'd be forced to stop these DISHONEST sentences! |

zomby: You are very correct; Nigerian president is the real deal, a champion of all things. Regardless of your position or the size of your pocket, if you fuckkk around with the president in Nigeria, your end will be miserable.
Starting from May 30, certain group in Nigeria and their “leader” will be very gentle… In fact I believe they have already started to see the writing on the wall. The process is called “KNOW YOUR LEVEL” I don't want to call you mumu. You think it is a good thing? The Nigerian president can EASILY become a dictator like Putin. He can put his people in the Supreme Court, but even if not, there is nothing to enforce his obeying a Supreme Court rullimg |

Persephone1: It is mind boggling to think you want a well to do man while you are nothing yourself. This isn't about grace but attracting what you are, becoming what you want and positioning. Wise words, "attracting what you are"! But most girls don't see it that way at all. Their hypergamy is through the roof! |

Karlifate: What other values do you have aside just being a female homosapien
Let's start from there. Well, most girls feel that's all they need. That and maybe a bit of make-up "beauty", and they automatically deserve the highest caliber men. "Women are hypergamous" is actually a bit of an understatement! |

The problem with that is that he (Tinubu) may start thinking he's just like everyone else, that it's okay to be stealing Lagos tax money and his other nefarious activities. See, you have to be careful how you greet a known criminal or he may get the impression that he's ok, that he's just like everyone else.. |

IyaebeTheGreat: I responded according to her complains so Ned touched or untouched is not the priority here. Well, you should have responded by pointing out to her that 1) Ned is not such a good man, good men don't marry 6 wives. 2) Ned was 60, Regina was 19. 3) Regina was/is a famous movie star 4) We have only Ned's word, and knowing what we know about Nollywood and sex, it is not believable. 5) Just being in that industry perceives a girl a slut, and if it was by that no one would marry them. Instead you rushed to make a fallacious, compound statement, ignoring that some women sleep around and still end up with high-quality men, while some women stay virgin and still don't get married. |

IyaebeTheGreat: You can be beautiful and not graceful. Let me tell you a secret, beauty is a gift from God to a lady , it naturally comes with grace but if you allow men access to your body carelessly, believe me that grace will be gone and your beauty becomes meaningless. If you are beautiful, please learn to maintain the grace that comes with it else you become empty in your beauty. Ned met Regina untouched and he immediately want to die there, Ned openly confirmed it in one of his interview But Ned was not untouched. Infact Ned had wives (WIVES!). Five of them infact! Or is the grace only a one-way affair? Also, define grace. |

...And the Pastor's wife! How could she not have even sensed that such violation was going on under her very roof?!

Good one OP
Here's the entire article:
The 3 Important Stages of Your Life That You Must Never Get Wrong
The most important stage of life is the stage of decision-making. Before you choose what, you desire, there are several options. Thus, where to select from or the genesis of new ideas, laws, culture, and so on. The Selected cannot be forced on you since it is your own life, and you have your own rights. These Stages have nothing to do with our backdrop; our background is simply our starting point, our tracking line. Selecting what you desire has now been divided into three stages:
Stage of Choosing Your Career
This is the period where you decide what you want to do for a living. This indicates that if you don't have anything to do for a living, your life is incomplete. Many people's life is meaningless because they lack a strong profession to propel their goals to fruition. A solid profession is what allows life to offer you what you deserve. Your work is part of what keeps your life running. A career that is alive is a life that is alive. When you have a successful profession, you will think about purchasing automobiles, living the life you desire as a result of having picked the appropriate vocation, and living in a large mansion. So, this is where the second stage comes in (with who?)
Stage of Choosing Your Life - Partner
This is a fascinating and fragile stage of life. Even if they have a solid profession, many young adults are afraid about choosing the incorrect marriage. Some people have lost everything they have worked for because they chose the wrong companion. You will be ready to have children at this point. When you find a suitable spouse, you are ready to go! At this point, you must be patient and prayerful. This is where the last stage comes in. Praying (To who?)
Stage of Choosing Your Beliefs
Do you realize that your beliefs have a significant impact on your life? When we are born into this world, we are born with whatever belief our parents have. But when you are grown enough, we will go on the voyage of discovery. In search of the truth. My question is, have you done any research on what you believe? If you haven't already, begin today in an auto-polite manner.
Note: The Stage does not have a representation; it cannot be done for you; you will complete the assignment on your own; if you make the correct decision in picking the right item, you will have a 100% standard of living both now and in the future (Eternity). Thanks for Reading! |
