Sir, i assume we are on the same page (on this particular one..lol)! I was informed by their close confidant yesterday to buy more at the current price (irrespective of the noise) and doesn't say much again...Have a blessed weekend my good family.

Plz don't quote me............Do your own assignment!
Are you by any means referring to that bank whose entire body has been consumed but left with only the head? You think they can match GTB and Zenith bank by paying N1.75(20%) dividend?

What is the big deal in this? Ordinarily you should do it yearly just like AML certification.

Hello Guys,
I placed for withdrawal of 200k from my act with M/C yesterday for some personal needs, I was told this morning that the transfer has been made to my act since 8am tday. Till now, I have not received an alert to that effect. Series of calls and mails to M/C and they keep telling me it has been done. Even after charging me 2% for uncleared balance. Please is this normal?
Please what do you mean by the bolded?

you might enter with jijo motive and end up losing or turning to jisp, you want to buy low and sell high, what of if no one shows interest of buying high when you want to sell. There was a day I spent more than three hours trying to sell Transcorp using morgan itrade, upon I choose market price no buyer, I then choose below market price, but market makers refuse to allow it go. As you are thinking to jump in and jump out, many are still thinking that way, it all depends on whom jump out first.
I have my portfolio partitioned for JIJO and long term, and GTB is one of my long term stock. I entered in 2009 and I have been eating dividend since then, it can only get better.

When you buy stock through a stockbroker, the registrar does not have your signature unlike when you buy via public offer. Now if you fill an e-dividend warrant indicating your account number using your signature, the registrar will not be able to process it and since they do not have your signature. The above processes will give them your signature.
Oga, did you read my comment well?

Ok Boss, now I get the gist. Thanks a billion! More bulls to ur stocks.

Last question pls : how can I register 4 e-dividends ? (seems like dat is less stressful than this warrant posting to an address)
two options:
1. Get MC to process your signature specimen to the registrar through the CSCS (you will fill in share transfer form). OR
2. Get banker's confirmation of your signature (N2000-3,000) and take it to your registrar.

Either way, you then take a completed e-dividend mandate form to your registrar to activate for you.
Amen to the bolded bros grin

No boss. How do I do dat? Through MorganCapital ?

I have tried searching thru this thread frm page 1, cldnt get an answer.
When you opened trading account with MC you submitted both your residential and postal addresses. So the registrar(s) to the companies will have stakes in will have access to these info, and they would prepare and post your dividend warrant(s) to you if you don't have subsisting e-dividend mandate.

I think they will pay 1.00K or a little more............Dont judge with the share price...........Business is not bad for First Bank,so lets be hopeful........They will announce their result on the 28th of this month...........
One thing is to make profit, it's another thing to be willing to declare juicy dividend; they may want to reserve a large portion of the EPS.

First Bank? Naaaa! Though I am heavy on FBNH, I don't see them paying close to this.

Warrant would be posted to your registered postal address, save you have activated e-dividend.

There is 1.50 (Naira) final dividend. Check the corporate action on the last page
I think Zenith should do better than this though... grin. I think JIJO is possible for that GTbank, considering their qualification date of 17th March, which is earlier than 28th wink.

house,do you think morgan commission rate could change later after gaining much clients?
If they could change their rate? Yes, change can connote increament or decreament. They are most likely to reduce their charges since they will have more revenue from annual fees, with little expenditure on infrastructure (hardware) and labour- they don't trade for us, we do for ourselves. They pay a fixed fee for the live feed from NSE, so the larger their client base, the more they get from commission and annual fees. QED.

Corruption is in the people not really in the system, becasue the people form the system.
Prior to now, no MDA can open any official account without the authority of their supervising ministry and they are open to auditing on a regular basis. Hence, if sharp practices are being perpetrated, it simply means the staff, managements and auditors alike are the corrupt elements who need to be dealt with. If not, they will still find a way to play the new platform.
