I’m going to making a delicious lamb and turkey stew. I’m not really one for fish anyway.
CultureRe: Yoruba Community In Awka Coronates New Oba, Gets Soludo’s Assurance by Probz(m): 2:32am On Apr 03, 2023
duro2chang:
Oba in Awka? That's is absurd.
Awka-Igbos are very well-travelled and accommodating. I wouldn’t be surprised if 30% of people scattered across certain parts of Ondo-Yorubaland, Imo state (at least Nkwerre/Orlu) and Igala/Edo have some Awka heritage. Either way Oba doesn’t seem terribly out-of-place for Awka. Nnewi, maybe, but Awka’s a very centralised, cool kind of place where different cultures abound, even if the main one does tend to be Anambra Igbo. It’s a little mixed.

Not just any type of smoke but hard drugs like, egbo, tramadol, Shisha, cocaine.
It is good that he didn't allow smoking because if ndlea bust the club, dem go say AY is a drug pusher but using comedy to cover up.
Tramadol’s a pain-killer and cannabis is a plant. If it’s to get properly buzzed on medical drugs there’s lorazepam and I guess gabapentin to some extent (not that it really does much). How’s man going to tell me that a cancer-curing green plant is a harder drug all-in-all than bloody tobacco?
You ain’t ever lived, have you, R-2022?

BusinessRe: Compare Valium Vs. Oxazepam Kopen by Probz(m): 1:11am On Mar 31, 2023
It does have to be said that oxazepam is probably the most mellowing, doesn’t interfere with how much one wants to drink and you know … yada-yada. I’d rather take that than diazepam.

FamilyRe: Marriage Is Just all About Responsibility, Nothing Special. by Probz(m):
bigfrancis21:
You forgot to add this: it's all responsibilities with barely any useful rewards in the end for the man/father. The mother gets majority of the rewards in the end/old age but the fathers would have toiled all their lives away to provide for the wife and children. Haven't you noticed yet, no matter how involved and dedicated a father is, the kids tend to have more endearments to their mothers (it's a natural bond).

Oh lest I not forget, the man usually dies off much earlier also, especially from stress and over working hard.
Luckily other parts of the world aren’t exactly like that anymore and are very-much shared financial responsibility. The average Nigerian-Nigerian woman tends not to be like that but the Western world in general is a lot more open-minded about sharing responsibilities and staying partners who may or may not want children. As much as I love a lot about Nigeria I tune out as far as relationships go. The stunt-and-gold-digging (guys being the stunters, who’ll still criticise single women for not marrying or giving them attention) generation of Nigerians in Nigeria certainly isn’t any better on that front. Times are tough all-’round but to 65% of people it’s not really a case of gender, nor should it be anymore. Black women in general have often been stereotyped to be very tough and there are more Igbo women in the U.K. than I can count on two hands who were actually the primary breadwinners of their family until their husbands (who were well cared for) eventually died and women like that are far from rare all-in-all. Life’s more complicated than what certain nuclear family roles and silly, contradictory gender stereotypes (not that there isn’t a natural bond between a mother and her offspring; there definitely is) might dictate or suggest. I’ve always respected you but you really need to let go of this silly Nigerian mentality re. what mandem do and women don’t. That’s not how it is in the contemporary west (which has its own makeup p, for better or worse). People have suffered and toiled in a way that their gender couldn’t have anything less to do with.

FamilyRe: "My Wife Is 21" - 60-Year-Old Kano Man Accused Of Marrying 11-Year-Old (Pix) by Probz(m): 4:53pm On Mar 23, 2023
descarado:
Leave mohanned out of this.
This was the practice all over the world then.
Europe or Western world was the worst.
Wife's are just breeding animals. Nothing more. Treated with no respect. Mistresses or courtesans were the real deal. Men of repute tour the world with them. They are very powerful and highly educated.
Example is lord Lugard. His mistress named our dear country Nigeria. Today, the West is championing femaleequality and emancipation thanks to late queen Elizabeth. In Scotland, women that protested to all these vises were termed witches and burnt alive not long ago. Only last few months the govt of Scotland asked for post mortem apology. West treated women worst. Like scum. At least our men takes care of their women. They flaunt them.its only those greedy ones that will not want to live together in peace
Better to marry than have a 60yrs old as sugar daddy.
I sincerely pray you never get married. Just look at.

Even as a staunch atheist, I still have respect for the preserved Islamic cultural values as regard marriage/family … much more than this bastardized western lifestyle that people are ignorantly swimming in
Mohammed started off the whole Islamic ting in the first place by marrying a 9-year-old. I don’t see how contemporary Western ideas about family aren’t better than that.
FamilyRe: Is Spanking A Child Good Or Bad? by Probz(m): 9:50am On Mar 23, 2023
Phamo0:
Parents don't really spank their children these days. Spanking seems to me a lighter version of beating. If spanking means no harm physical and mental done to the child , then to me is not bad.
I believe there are always other alternatives to spanking.
Nigerian parents don’t beat/spank their children anymore? What planet are you living on?
FamilyRe: Is Spanking A Child Good Or Bad? by Probz(m): 9:15am On Mar 23, 2023

Absolutely, every parent should be well behaved.

FamilyRe: Is Spanking A Child Good Or Bad? by Probz(m): 9:07am On Mar 23, 2023
I’m certainly not inherently against it but there’s a limit. I hate to see parents disrespect their kids and channel all their anger to them. Luckily Nigerians have thick skin but nonetheless there’s a stark difference between discipline for the sake of discipline and abuse.

Of course he said he didn’t do anything wrong. That’s what people think they have to say in the moment to deflect blame and avoid accountability.
People who haven’t experienced actual racism tend not to know what it is.

Nigeria is one country out of 180. The problem with these people (and people like you, clearly) is that the world’s supposed to revolve around it and how you behave in Oshodi and the most ghetto parts of Onitsha without getting called out. If you can’t conduct yourself, that’s your problem (unless you’re in the middle of some mental health crisis) and you’ll be liable to the same treatment as anyone-else. Being black/Nigerian is not an automatic free-pass to misbehave everywhere. Comport yourself or forget about a six-pack of anything besides Carling. It’s flipping simple.

All these silly Newcastle/Gorton/Croydon-arrived freshies need to go and sit down. The quality of people who migrated to the U.K. between the 1950s and noughties vs. the last couple of years has changed and not for the better. These new people by-and-large are hardly deserving of a visa.

Ada./Christine/chief Angus/brother Bankole >> awon Emeka for easy marriage any day of the week. The communal richness people from older generations established, the sacrifices and discrimination they faced to make sure they and their children could be great is so much more advanced than what these young people are capable of achieving in a million years that it’s hard to believe they’re from the same country. Turning up at Tesco and expecting Naira-notes amounting to 2k to be accepted for a pair of headphones is really not the one.

Well, 99.99% in the case of Igbos and Yorubas. The point is the perpetrator’s of the blood-question are really very stupid.

But tribe matters in Anambra , it’s even matters if your are from Nnewi or Akwa sef.

But they came here preaching tribes doesn’t matter, telling us to give up our heritage for their selfish agenda, I watched the video of Chinedu saying he’s going to rebuild the burnt market at Akere , May be he will take the land from the indigenous people and use it to build market for his kinsmen ..lol he sounded so arrogant like a kid beating his cheat.
I have cousins who are half Nnewi and half Awka but they have the sense to know that these things only matter when they matter. I’m sure they’d readily accept blood from Orumba or Ogbomosho if they had to.
PoliticsRe: Which Tribe Donated This Blood Today? by Probz(m): 12:16pm On Mar 10, 2023
Nigerians and tribalism are like 1 and 2. Yorubas and Igbos (to name but two) share like 99.9% of DNA so what does ethnic grouping matter?

The only time I buy eggs myself is when I want to make batter-fried meat/chicken or bake something and I don’t do much of either these days. My kpuff-kpuff is a flaming disaster that ends up looking like akara every time (I’ve had mates/acquaintances give me their recipe but it just doesn’t agree with my hands, ever) and banana bread is so 2019/2020 (I was about it before lockdown made it popular). Other than what’s scrambled for Asian fried rice (which I actually somewhat like) and maybe certain omelettes I do not like eggs.

We just can not wait to have you in court so you unpatriotic ethnic champions can be further exposed to the world. We will cross appeal to investigate and cancel all the fraudulent massively rigged "Agulu results" that came out of Igboland where even the votes of APC and PDP agents, ward chairmen and party members were given zero!
Everyone indicted in the widespread criminal conspiracy of massive rigging that took place in Igboland will be prosecuted!

Congrats to my President-Elect Asiwaju Tinubu.
check my signature for free stuffs!
Listen, my direct bloodline comes from Anaocha and Awka South (and more distantly I have some family from Agulu) and I can tell you straight-up that nobody in Anambra state whose head was half-correct would’ve voted for those northern thugs or at this point anyone at-all other than Obi. It’s not possible.

That doesn’t mean fraud’s involved. It’s the votes for Tinubu that are a sham.
