thesicilian: Being an introvert is not the same as being antisocial. The difference is usually in the kind of people around whom you're comfortable. If your mind or your nature doesn't carry any kind of social interaction, there's no need to "force it" with alcohol or energy drinks. The ideal thing to do is to find the optimal social environments you can thrive in without chemical enhancement. Besides energy drinks are also not too good for peptic ulcer patients. There are a lot of mature non alcoholic drinks and wines to choose from True but this guy actually is antisocial in the sense of being rude for no reason. Well done for chipping in and giving him a quality answer, ’though, even if he doesn’t know how to value it. |

Nobodysboo: MY FAV IS EGUSI AND VEGETABLE SOUP. I'D LOVE TO LEARN THEM BOTH Are you likely to have a free space to cook these soups in for up to 3 hours at a time (you’re going to have to be more specific about what vegetable soups in-particular you’re talking about, by the way) or do you live with kitchen-hogs who basically live to socialise in there all sodding day-and-night-long? |

meobizy: Some happen on Fridays. When I lived outside the country, couples picked any convenient day of the week. Thursday for some reason was a favourite. Saturdays and Sundays were also used. Getting married on a Monday afternoon makes more sense than getting married on a Sunday, to be honest. I don’t get why someone would want to marry on the 7th day. |
Events › Re: Why Are Weddings Always held On Saturdays? by Probz(m): 5:20am On Jan 15, 2023 |
Some of the best weddings happen on weekdays (Tuesday’s becoming a sweet spot now and they’re often truly amazing) but generally Monday to Friday are working/week-days and Sunday’s for church and/or lazing around/dreading the upcoming week. Saturday’s the only day that’s bookended by being able to both sleep in (relatively) and do fun stuff. |

Carbonated drinks (so far as they don’t contain copious amounts of lithium and preventive insulin) can be dangerous things. One ought be reminded of that. Na-wa for that-your friend. |

Hyland: I feel missionary is one of the best tho . Although missionary is very looked down upon among this new generation (Gen Z) ‘cause they feel it’s old fashioned and boring . Lol If only they knew majority of them were conceived through that style .
And btw, do you have a big Igbo pric*k? ‘cause I’ve been craving for it recently. Mhm-hm but I’m definitely not going to have sex with you so … you know. Maybe don’t bother asking and stay in your curious Yoruba lane. |
Culture › Re: How Do You Call Christmas In Your Language? by Probz(m): 2:16pm On Jan 11, 2023 |
yesloaded: There are some words that's almost the same with both language
Ewu: Goat Ewure: Goat
Iba: Fever Iba: Fever
etc Igboid, Edoid and Yoruboid languages (with Igbo probably being the oldest of all branch-derivatives, especially the Awka, and to a lesser extent Nri, prototype/s) all share a common ancestral root so it is what it is. There’s definitely more to the Igbo-Yoruba relation than what needs the eye but over-tribalism and lack of documentation means that those differences go untapped and it’s a shame. |

For one thing missionaries who work in connection with NYSC/Assemblies of God/Deeper Life won’t exist, not as-per current nomenclature. Missionary is only going to mean one thing. |

Love-making (although I’d personally only consider that term in connection to straight-up sex.) can include pre-intimacy.and the wet stuff that happens afterwards (before man passes out some). |

Because they’re flirting, duh.
Or they move with indiscriminate and pure intentions but are assumed to be flirts because people look at their male-male interactions as just that, unless one party’s obviously gay/bi-questioning. |
