Congratulations, package differently then put all in one envelope if you are sending by mail. Do not forget to pay the transmission fee for each child and I will advice sms fee also so you get real-time update on the movement of your package.

Oga there is nothing like that. Just send your package to Abuja that’s still the fastest processing location. Putting yourself in a tight corner sometimes doesn’t make sense, getting the PPR is what was most important than a travel date

If PGWP is of essence to you as I suspect then flee from taking that school. Canada has many of such schools and unsuspecting students fall for it until they resume.

Having said that, you may actually still apply to another school while you are there and apply for study permit extension but you must have completed at least one semester in current school. No be waste of money be that?

I leave you to decide, I suspect you were attracted by the no application fee thing!

1. I was growing my account for the purpose of applying until something happened and I used it and it got depleted. But my brother will be my sponsor, he has the resources, so I don't know if I must also have money in my account before my application will fly? Or must a transfer fund into my account?

2. My wife is a permanent resident in Canada, she can't sponsor me through spousal visa because she is still under a ban and I intend to also state the fact of my wife being a permanent resident. Or should I leave it out? I don't know if it will affect the VO decision that I may not want to come back after my studies...

3. I have gotten admission, the 2 above-mentioned need clarification before I can continue.

4. Also can someone help me with sample of a letter of identification, a letter of recommendation, study leave a letter.

While am not tagged for this I‘ll make an attempt to answer this.

Even if you satisfy case number one which you can do easily by having your brother transfer money to you and doing a gift deed to explain that, number two will make it almost impossible for you to explain you will return. Simple reason is strong ties in Canada. Having mentioned that you can also easily explain that. PM and I’ll tell you what to put in your letter of explanation.

Highly possible, my spouse is a Medical Doctor and she is studying a two year diploma course. She got her permit approved and SOWP for my self with Visit Visa for two kids.

Absolutely. You can use a pension letter. I did.

You can use a pension letter as POF or home ties if it is yours.

In his case, the pension has only 20m, meaning the Max the uncle can draw from instantly is 5m. Would 5m cover for his/her POF? Also it may not be considered a logical decision the Uncle is making by giving you all he is entitled to immediately at retirement, how will he survive?

The documents can be in his name, just note that you are his next of kin or responsible for his estate.

Since I have to use the GCkey, who is best to open a GCkey account, me or my wife? What are the forms that must be submitted on the GCkey portal?

Either of you can open the GCkey, it doesn’t matter. The difference is that if you are the one opening the GCKey and filling in the application, you would need to fill the use of representative form. Also you can start the application to see all the required documentation. Most important for me will be your POF and SOP stating why you need them to come.

Marriage certificate suffices and yes what ever sponsorship you used it valid if the funds are enough

You barely need more than you already submitted for Studies as SOWP is tied to the Student. All you need more is proof of funds

Don't think that way,whether a New Portal or Old portal,whether you submit the rightful documents with borgus available funds couple with the fact that you have even paid tuition, an application that will be approved will be approved/Refused if you dont do one thing.

Upfront medical was updated on 26th October (he did it before submission) and we had to send them emails before it was updated.

In my opinion, they don’t lose track of any application. Sending mails doesn’t change any timing on when they will make their decisions.

Applied for Visit Visa alongside with my Spouse who was applying for Study Permit, and Visit Visa for our two Munchkins - May 15th 2022

My application was cancelled in June, IRCC requested I apply for SOWP instead and refunded the application fee - Submitted June 30th 2022

Spouse Study permit was approved August and she resumed September

Munchkins Visitor Visas were approved September 28th, I got medical request same day

PPR today, November 3rd, 2022

It’s been quite interesting and I’ll advise people always apply as a family on the old portal if they have the funds to support it!

Can I skip attaching a leave letter in my application and just explain that my employer will approve a leave of absence once my visa is approved?
