Come on! POF post ITA are you sure you know what you are doing? If you already was expecting ITA, you should have already sorted your POF, in your case now you have put the cart before the horse, not certain how you want to ride it.

I really need your suggestions. I applied for study visa for myself and VV tor my 4 kids (9,7,4 and 1) on the 4th September 2022, mine was approved on 28th September while my kids applications were all refused based on lack of financial assets. (POF was 36mil although 23mil was in my husbands company account and others spread across his 3 personal savings account). We reapplied on 28th October with more funds (42mil but we had recently moved 28million from company account to his personal savings account a week prior to this and had 14 million in his 2 personal savings accounts ) we also got a notarized letter of sponsorship stating that he will pay our bills. We got my youngest child on a daycare waitlist too. We got another set of refusals on 25th November. We have ordered for GCMS notes on Monday the 28th of November. Please when we are reapplying , what can we do differently. Should we include my husband in the new application? We didn’t include him in the first two applications because of the issue of home ties. What category of visa should we apply for him and our kids this time?
What explanation can be used to demonstrate why the whole family is suddenly applying? ( I stated in the letter of explanation for the second refusal that he is very busy and travels a lot hence my decision to go with my kids). Thanks as i anticipate your response �

You are super lucky you already have yours approved. Firstly, what is the duration of your course? I will advise you travel first and then later work out how your family join you. You should have applied for VV for only the 4 and 1 year, leave the other two. If you persist on the whole family at this rate you might get your study permit reversed.

I just got my cas for my admission in UK and at the stage to apply for study visa to UK having paid my tuition fees. I am considering requesting for refund of my fees but I see from the school site that there must be tangible reason to request for refund e. g Visa refusal, I have not been refused UK Visa yet because I have not even applied. Visa application fee is too high for an application that has very slim chances of success. It will be double pain to proceed with the Visa application and be rejected and the school seemingly not ready to make refund without a concrete reason.

I need advise please my people

Why where you banned from Canada and why do you think UK will reject you? Also a tangible reason for refund is if you don’t get a visa.

Just to give a little guide, I did try to analyze what your score will be for FSWP and it is low at 437 used 37 years of age assuming you will be ready at that age. You need to learn French and pass the exam to get a good chance at being invited.

You no longer need it, you already signed it when you did your biometrics, it was that document they handed to you when you got to VFS

I didn’t say you have to have that money in your account, we are on the same page. The person has to prove how the rest would be met without recourse to public funds. Also while the act says show proof of one year funding, some VO like to see everything. If you show how much you have relative to how much you want to spend and they are close, often than not they will state the study at this point is not a wise investment.

It is quite simple, that amount is too small for an undergraduate program. For four years of study you will need at least twice to three times that amount. You might be lucky with some VO but you are better off with a two or one year program

Only the location handling your request will respond. You are just fine with Nairobi as the primary processor and Lagos as the secondary processor

Don’t think it is always the case. My spouse traveled without enrollment letter. Her school only does enrollment when you are present. No one asked for it. On a recent trip, the airline asked for study permit, I just told the guy that is not his job, his job is to check for valid travel documents like passport and visa not study permit. Leave that for the border agency.

Please I did an upfront medicals on 28th July and submitted with my application. I got a medical request from Ircc 2days ago, I uploaded my upfront E-sheet via webform that same day I got the request and I received a receipt confirmation email from them.
A fellow applicant told me today,that her agent said it's better to redo the medicals because sendin the previous upfront sheet via webform will take 28days to get updated and might not even get updated.
Please how true is this?

You don’t need another medical, if you used IOM you can’t even book another, the medical slip you sent is enough, just ensure you send it to Nairobi and Lagos, they will update it after a few days. Happened to my spouse and myself too. No need to panic

but another part said "you can apply from outside Canada if you were a Crown servant or a family member of a Crown servant."

As Nigeria is member of commonwealth of nation family ...can l apply As a Crown servant or a family member of a Crown servant?

Please house help me. I need clarifications. I applied for a Temporary Foreign Work permit since January 2021. Though I used a trusted agency.

Around April I Flew from Portharcourt to Abuja for medicals because my name was in the appointment list when I got there. That’s IOM Abuja office.

I returned to portharcourt after the medicals and my medical result was sent to the Canadian immigration for documentation.

2 weeks later I got a job offer from Canada which I signed and sent through courier service to my employer.

October 28th same 2021 I returned to Abuja for my biometrics. At November 1 I submitted all my documents including my biometric letter of appointment and instruction letter. The biometrics was successful and I returned to portharcourt again. Although when I got back on the 14th of December I was congratulated by the VFS office where I did the biometrics that my biometrics was successful and has been submitted to the Canadian immigration that I should be very patient at this moment because they are not the ones to decide to give me the work permit or visa.

It’s a year now. I’ve not heard anything. Today is 23rd November 2022.

Please is there still possibility that it’s gonna work for me? I’ve waited too long. It is it how it works?

Please I need reply of who has succeeded to give me hope. Thanks.

Sorry about how you feel, I believe your application wasn’t strong enough and it is ridiculous that your spouse will have more money in his personal account than in his business. If I were a VO I would also reject the application. How long is your course, did you show how he intends to run the business while away?

Last month I applied for SOWP for my spouse because the one she had expired September ending and she went home to visit her parent so she is outside Canada. We were waiting for an approval then she can come back. This evening I received a mail from them that the
"After careful review of your work permit application and supporting documentation under the International Mobility Program, I have determined that your application doesn't meet the requirements of the IRPA and IRPR. I'm refusing your application on the following grounds: . Eligibility for a work permit in this category only applies to the spouse or common law partner of a work permit holder who is doing work that is at a level that falls within National Occupational Classification (NOC) skill levels 0, A, B." I recently got a job but in a Noc C but when the new teer system is implemented my skill level would be changed to a recognized skill for express entry.

Please what do we do now. We are so sad and confused

Leaving was the mistake but at the time that decision was made, I want to believe it felt like the right thing so don’t beat yourself to it. Gladly you are still there so for now it is a patience game for you and your spouse.

I will say I got real value for my money because she also offered resume revamp sessions and held a mock interview with me. This helped me to land my first BA role. I won't have gotten this much support from Coursera.

Please my ppr dropped since 20sep. IRCC requested we send a Consent Letter for my 2year old son's visiting visa. His dad signed and notarized the form, it was uploaded since 23rd September but till date no ppr for him.
It's going to 2months now, we have been sending webforms and mails all the while.

Please what could be the issue, has anyone experienced this before, kindly help with possible solutions.

When I discussed with my spouse on she leaving for her studies alone without the kids, the conversation didn’t go well. It did come with many nights of crying, but today she is glad she didn’t travel with them. She for hear am and our pockets too. Also it is not so much of an advantage as long as the kids have their visas approved. My advice would be that you leave them if you have a trusted family member then return to pick them when things are settled. Kids do just fine without you!

For airfrance you do not need transist visa and I want to believe its same for Klm..transit visa majorly is for those going to the UK..you can call any of those travel agency..travelbeta,wakanow to confirm

Thanks for your response, so I did call KLM and they confirmed a visa would be required at France, because it is two stops, Paris-Amsterdam. That means one would leave the international zone and enter the shengen zone which would require a visa.

So only one stop would work, flight has been rescheduled for one stop at Paris this morning.

You would need a Schengen visa if you were transiting through two EU countries. So look for KLM or another flight that only has one stop at EU countries.

1. What category do I select when booking medicals, is it for visitor?

2. What are the documents I need to submit, I believe I do not need to write an invitation letter since I am still in Nigeria. Am I supposed to write an LOE and what would be the content?

3. He has a visitors visa application on the new portal, should I cancel it?

4. Do I use my GCkey to apply for him or open a new one for him?
