In a recent development, Mohbad’s mother further discussed her son’s death with Punch Newspapers, and the video of her interview circulated widely online.
In the viral clip, the late singer’s mother was seen in tears, pouring out curses on those she holds responsible for her child’s death. She vehemently stated that Mohbad’s killers would meet a similar fate as Judas did in the Bible, ending their own lives. She said:
Speaking further, she recounted how her late son was her staunch defender, always standing up for her whenever his father attempted to cause trouble.
In the viral clip, Mohbad’s mother disclosed the role played by the late singer’s father in aiding one of the suspects involved in the case, Primeboy. She revealed how Mohbad’s dad reportedly instructed Primeboy to flee, shedding light on the father’s involvement in protecting the suspect.
According to her, Mohbad’s dad told her that he advised Primeboy to run away because he is a suspect in the case.

I must warn some of you here: stop bombing universities that you see on approved transcript. The U.S has over 5000 colleges and universities. Why must 2500 Nigerians apply to a single school, when there are several other schools with even better admission chance and financial opportunities?
I hate to say this, but you need to do your own home work. There's nothing wrong in searching for your own schools, contacting your program department on possibility for admission and financial support before you apply. All you need is time and focus. If you can't do it, seek help. Do not avoid the work as it may land you in disappointment. Be intentional about your dream of studying abroad and be willing to pay the price.
By avoiding the work and only applying to schools you see on Nairaland, you deny yourself the possibility of applying to better school with better opportunities that would help secure your visa and make your stay in the U.S smooth.
I wish prospective applicants having interview for fall 2021 the best.
Pls how do one know the red flagged schools? You mean the fact that nos of foreign students admmited are minimal? What if that is the school that matches my plans and interest? Pls explain how this works bro. Thanks

Until public figures ( especially celebrity, sportsman n artist whom are respected by Nigerians) stand up by.spot checking most injustice in Nigeria, we are going nowhere. there are SARS likes attitude in every industries .... * Police seeing himself god once he holds gun * Lecturer/Non teaching staffs terrorising students daily. * NURTW members misbehaving on Lagos roads, as drive near coffin motors around Nigerian roads with unregulated charges. * LG workers delaying file passage for just no reasons. * Politicians things harrashes citizen from time to time. * Omo onile (Land sellers) selling a plot to 3 people. and going Scot free .... JUDGES DELAYING JUDGEMENT and ENDING UP DELIVERiNG WRONGLY. #Otedola #Dangote #TopMusician #TopActors ##HumanRightActivist #ExSportmen #AllMONs #RespectedNigerians all lives among us, they need to stop overlooking injustice around them, take up any bad trend and social media will take it from from there!!! #LetNoLeaveEverythingInGovtHand
That's the way it is. The only way to find out will be for someone else to try and use it to file. If someone is using it, it won't go. The person will be informed that someone is using the SSN already.
So, I was happy seeing the link you sent but on checking it, I found out that you will have to be 18 years to register and view your statement and the transactions that went into it. My child is not yet 18 and as a father, I can't register for her.
Pls help with the contact details of IRS and or of SSN.... I need to confirm the SSN status for my kids. Thanks
As a parents, if you feel that your child's SSN have been compromised, the only thing to do is to contact the IRS or the SSN department.
majamajic: Mine is what disvirgin questions got to do with the boy they came to arrest ?
Instead of to tell the girl to make a call to the guy to know his where about and drive her down As in work with the girl to track the guy
I think the guy (suspect) has being arrested as the time the young lady is bn harashed. My point is the, the Police chiefs should know the quality of the police officers in NPF.. because I believe the policemen think they will be praised for a good job and that's why he released the video online. He never knew he was doing anything bad. Most Nigerian Police are not professional.
Dagrin and Adefemi Olubayo (Super Eagles full back) both died in ghastly motor accident, (avoidable death) too young and talented but never lived to give the world more....
Now this confirm my thought of no seriousness in govt/civil servant work environment as compare to the corporate world! All these can't be allowed in most corporate settings, govt work na to resume sit down n gist! No work plan, no innovative drive, no competition threat, no query no reprimand, no target drive, no performance monitoring, no appraisal. Only talk, gossip, and daily contribution Lobatan
Hotstfz007: Please if we book a date for interview. Are we allowed to reschedule or not? Or we have to paid another fee?
You are allowed to rescheduled once. You don't av to pay another money. The new date you get for rescheduling is subject to available dates as at that time.
profjustine458: Finally Nigerians just realized this embassy's are on our soil to scam us........... The want us to keep applying and the continue to use our money to develop their land. Imagine having 1200 applicants interviewed daily. 57000×1200 =68,400,000(sixty eight million four hundred thousand) Everyday! Then check it monthly 68,400,000×30 =2,052,000,000 (two billion fifty-two million) Every month! That's roughly 6million Dollars monthly
Do they interviewed visa applicants every single day of the month ? (remove Sundays, Public Holidays). If the 1,200 interviewed figure is TRUE! Do they truly interviewed 1,200 every day? I doubt, especially not on Saturdays! This is foreign mission {America} and not just any other country! They got bunch of staffs that got paid in dollars, they pay taxes to Govt, they maintain their equipment and space in those choice locations. Above all, they never force anyone to apply for visa, or you think Nigeria don't collect visa fees close to that amount from foreigners?
Mydavids: Good day everyone, please I was filling my Ds 160 form and I got to this place but don’t know what to type. I was denied visa when I was very little, what we were told then was that they are sorry we couldn’t be granted visa at this time. So please how do I answer this question? Thank you.
"I was denied visa when I was very little" If this is the only reason you think you are denied then, write it! Or if you can figure any other reasons behind ur denial just state it too. VO just want to hear ur own side of the last interview (maybe what you couldn't get to explain during the interview, or if there is anything you got wrong then or anything positive you are trying to explain then but was not considered by the consular).
He was an active member of England U20 squad at the last world cup in 2017 and even got invited for the Three Lion at a point! Get your facts right before u comment. I think he is hoping to be invited for this European League but got disappointed. His sudden Nigeria pics online is an indication that he wants to be given a chance by NFF, if he is psychological ready and actively fit, WHY NOT? He is a Nigerian and the coach sees him good enough, he should be considered.
Please does this info applies to normal visa interview (NOT 221G)? Because I noticed different colours of the GENERAL rejection letters are issued on different occasion!!
221G Blue Form: A 221g Blue form simply means that they are asking for extra Supporting Documents that is required by the US Embassy to take a decision on your Visa Issuance.
221G Pink Form: A 221g Pink form indicates that your case is put for further Administrative Processing. This is mostly issued if they are not satisfied about your current Employer or Work Experience related information or any other issues related to your Qualification.
221G White Form: A 221g White Form is a complex category 221G. They return the Case to USCIS for further Verification. Most of the cases we can zero onto Employers Issues. The form is given if the Visa Officer is doubting on your information that you have provided with respect to Qualification, Financial, Employers etc.
221G Yellow Form : A 221g Yellow form is given for General administrative processing. They just want make sure that all documents provided by you and the employer are genuine.
A case number is provided and you can check the status of your case online.
Pls Mr Mike, help with any useful material you have, my email: (taiwo.olawuyi@gmail.com). Thanks
m2016: I am writing this little piece just to inspire someone out there, someone who has given up hope on IELTS. Personally, I got my desired result at my 5th trial .
I took my first IELTS in September of 2018 and scored LSWR 7.5,6.5,6.5,7 I felt bad as I wanted to pass this exam at the first sitting, I actually gave it my all at the time, guess my all was not good enough. Even though there is no pass mark for IELTS, express entry applicants can attest that LSWR 8,7,7,7 is considered the pass mark.
My second trial was a few weeks after this, I read my ass out and after all is said and done, I took the test for a second time and scored LSWR 7.5,7,6.5,6 . When I saw the result, I wasn't so upset, at least nothing compared to how I felt when I saw my first result, however, there was a reason, I knew I was not going to pass the reading, I could not finish the reading test on test day. On the other hand, I thought I gave the other three modules my best. I still came out short in 2 (L & W). I had adopted Jay’s ‘super method for speaking’ to score at least 7 in the speaking module (Jay is a popular online IELTS teacher on YouTube).
After the second test, I rushed to register for the third, it was only 2 weeks away, so I prepared the best I could. This time, I made up my mind that I was not going to fail anything I had already passed in my previous tests (my assumed pass mark by the way is 8777 – LSWR as earlier stated), this will give me my desired CRS score, and this personal decision was key! I researched on YouTube on best ways to tackle some of these modules (And yes, I have always been researching), but this time it was different, I needed styles to tackle each question type. So I ran into a video by a random lady, she revealed that the key to passing reading was TIME, that whatever you do, ensure you finish questions 1-27 in at most 25 minutes, you need a lot of time in questions 28 – 40, simply because the questions become complex. Even though I passed the first reading which I scored 7, I was not comfortable of passing it again, until I saw that post. Mind you, my first three exams were with British council. Anyways, the third result came out and it was LSWR 7.5,7,6,7. I was sad again , but this time depressed as well so I decided this was it! And then I quit IELTS…
A colleague at work kept urging me to reconsider and retake the test, all fell to deaf ears at first. I did not attempt the test for 6 months. He was able to convince me and I decided to go back to the drawing board, by this time, I already had strategies for speaking and reading. These two I rarely revise because I was so comfortable that I can always pass them. I had to devise a strategy for listening, remember I have maintained a score of 7.5 in listening through-out the three trials.
So I took my 4th test, this time I switched to MOD-IDP Australia, I made up my mind that this is it! I wrote the test on the 2nd of March somewhere in Lekki. I paid extra attention to the listening. I knew exactly what my problem was and that is “the section C”, the part that could have up to 2-4 speakers. So I used mini-ielts.com to prepare for this. One good thing about this website is that you can select the type of questions you want to practice, focus and improve on it. I did exactly that and I improved. Test results came out and boom I scored LSWR – 9,8,6.5,8. What a result right? But damn the writing messed it up. I went for a remark and the result of the remark came out the same day my wife went to labour for our first child; the result of the remark sadly didn’t change! I felt horrible, had mixed feeling, it felt like the worst day of my life. My wife put to bed the next day, at least I had something to smile about and it took me out of my depression.
I prepared for my 5th IELTS, mind you by this time I had conquered LS&R, my only problem was writing, so I focussed only on writing. I picked April 6th for my 5th exam, I had about just over a week to prepare. My cousin gave me some videos by the popular online teacher IELTS Liz. This video by the way is different, it is not the ones you will find on her channel on YouTube. She calls them her “Advantage videos”. Basically, you pay her some money to access these videos. I didn’t pay anyway because my cousin had already paid for them. It has step by step process on how to tackle each question type. I did nothing for the 5th test but follow her instructions to the teeth, and it paid off! I did not try anything on LR&S, I just went for the test. My results came out on 19th of April, Good Friday and I scored LSWR – 8,7.5,7,7 . There is no adjective to express my excitement, I had the best Easter celebration, I went for a boat cruise with friends because it was worth it.
My takeaways, I took my time to write this for inspirational purposes. I know someone out there will be needing this inspiration. If you read closely, you will notice I passed them one after the other, you too can, even at once in your next trial! I will respond to questions in this trend, if I get any. I can also share any material you might need. I will not be charging a coin because no one charged me a coin, all the materials I used I got them freely, freely I received and freely I shall share my knowledge and sources. The only paid material I used was Liz writing video, still I was not the one that paid for it!
My name is Mike, and remember, You too can be a success story!
Edited: I have been contacted to stop sharing the video due to copyright infringement. For everyone contacting me via emails or requesting for the video here, unfortunately I will no longer be able to share the video. Kindly visit http://subscriptions.viddler.com/ieltslizstore to obtain it for yourself. Thank you.
Its possible but the Nigerians wont be the pry applicant, but only the foreigner (if his or her country is still permitted apply tho),that way they only have one chance (such as the spouse entry alone)
Holla3110: Please I know this is not the right thread and Nigerians are not eligible to participate in America DV visa lottery but I will like to ask if a Nigerian can participate when married to a foreign wife, is it possible for the wife to apply as the principal applicant when the husband is still carrying a Nigerian passport? @omobendel and Seyewest and any other Guru should kindly advise.
Once you are saying the truth, Just be yourself, visa approval has gone beyond someone ordinary! You av to be the right man that deserve it! My own advise is that just say the truth, if you are issued, Good, and make sure you remain that way and continuing doing the right. and If otherwise take it as it comes, your joy will be full if you know you'd say the truth because you can always retry... the truth shall set you free sooner or later. But once you lied, my brother you will need 100 lies to cover up. I wish you the very best in ur interview.
laurilking: Hello everyone, I will to ask some questions here regarding non-migrant visa, pls I will appreciate your replies. 5yrs ago, I applied for a b1/b2 visa at the US embassy, I was a car dealer at the time and I stated same. During the interview, I was asked to present the bill of laden which I stated was not with me at the time. The visa was denied. Knowing why I was denied, I booked another interview within two months and I presented the bill of laden. First the vo asked if I knew why I was denied the first tome and I stated that it was because I was without my bill of laden. She asked if I was with it and I said yes. Shortly after, she left her sit and liase with the woman that denied me the first time. When she returned, she collected all the documents and took them inside for about 5-10mins. When she returned she asked what position I held in the company and I told her I was the chairman, and she said “you’re the chairman and you have never traveled before”? I stated that I had visited MALAYSIA and South Africa, she didn’t listen but denied the visa. Fast forward to 2018, I applied together with my wife, the VO asked all her questions about her job, my job and where we would like to visit. We answered all these and she asked if my wife was pregnant and we answered in the affirmative. She asked if we would like to give birth in the US and we replied NO. Then she said in case you’ll like to give birth in the US, get a dr and all the rest I wasn’t even listening, and she stated we were not eligible at that time. We(me, wife and son) have another interview scheduled for later this year, and here is my concern, I have another company now which started less than a year ago and this is what I intend to fill in my Dstv-160, should I be concerned that I was a chairman of a company in 2015(the company folded to to new policy on car importation), 2018 a director in another company (still a director in that company though) but now presenting another new company(Enterprise) during the interview? Or should I maintain the previous company used during my last interview?
Read the refusal letter (Coloured paper) given to you, you should be advised on when you can apply regardless of which visa type you which to apply for next. but i think you can apply anytime.....
I did my interview today and I was only able to interview for one class of visa- the B1/B2 visa. Unfortunately I was not approved for the B1/B2 visa, how long do I have to wait before I can schedule my F1 visa appointment?
Let her report the case to USCIS in US then also send email to LagosIV immediately, they will be in the know! but that doesn't guaranteed if she will get her visa renewed or not! as those guys don't think straight on many cases, they assume everyone wanna overstay or visit to hustle.
She should informed the brother in-law, once she come back to Nigeria and she will report the case and this could affect the guy while trying to normalize his stay in the future (Its still the same USCIS officials that will attend to his case)!!!
Mind you hope she is not spending more than intended days in the US pondering on this!! the more she stayed back, the more it affect her chances of renewal, I am a living witness to this, I got delayed for something I can't control but I am been punished unnecessarily for that, instead of looking at my case from another angle I could have to present.
Bottom-line don't ever try to stay back because your brother in-law stayed back, the consequences could fight back to hurt her. Sometime many didn't know the suffering and punishment involved by forcing themselves to overstay in a place you are not legitimately permitted to live. #MyView
boladet: hello all , a friend of mine is in need of urgent advice, right now she is in the United states ,she travelled with her brother in law 30yrs of age and her two kids for a family occassion, they all applied together , the issue is the brother in law has told her he is not coming back ,all her pleas for him to reconsider are falling on deaf ears,so she will be returning without him. she is now worried about how it is going to affect her if she wants to travel in the future as they are bearing the same name ,she still plans to holliday next year as the visa expires in 2021 ,please any advice for her.
If the DS-160 form has those command questions as you stated, then there's nothing applicant(s) can do than to do the right thing. Lies isn't gonna solve the questions and doubt raised in the initial post. Besides why telling lie? That is outrightly out of it!
My point here is when exactly can applicant(s) open the DS160 form? So as to get a closer date! Does the applicant(s) wait till its exactly 6-months before starting up a DS-160 or can applicant(s) start DS160 completion now and choose a date of appointment that would av been 6-months after last interview?
When booking interview there are two initial questions I think :
One asks if your previous application was refused within the last 6 months (forgive me if I've quoted the question incorrectly) I've heard if you click this you see far off dates or sometimes no dates at all.
The other says you were not recently refused.
Now let's think about it...
If you were recently refused, lets say 2 months ago (regardless of whether you were allowed to explain your case or VO was mean or they did not check your docs) you should choose the first option, HOWEVER if you choose the second option (which by the way, they wrote clearly there that if you lie you are misrepresenting)...pray tell....what do you think will happen at the interview...where VO has a record of your last interview.....?
From the scripts read here, am able to confirm that applicant(s) doesn't need to wait for 6-months interval before re-applying after (221g) denial. Especially when the applicant(s) has a close date to travel to state (not for childbirth), and the applicant(s) has an explanation he wasn't allowed to clarify during the last interview and to also clear the air on any bad notion that could have been documented against the applicant(s). Please house, hope the applicant(s) will not be assumed to be desperate for reapplying almost immediately (say 3-months after)?
