Romance › Re: Should I Break Up Or Make Up With My Boyfriend? by profmallor: 1:48am On May 22, 2020
Encouragement are for those that are climbing and are almost there, battling and have almost won, striving but failing, a man (first born) FAF-in around in Nigeria of today needs horrible words by those that love him, because very soon the siblings he helped school and same society hailing and encouraging him would ask what he was doing when his mates were planning ahead.

AfroKnight:
Thank goodness you’ve broken up with him. Your wahala is too much. He will sort himself out.

You say you’re ambitious but all your ambition is on behalf of another person.

There’s encouragement and there’s nagging. Learn the difference.

Leave him alone.
Romance › Re: Should I Break Up Or Make Up With My Boyfriend? by profmallor: 1:27am On May 22, 2020
Pain is a better motivator than comfort, he is not as ambitious as you want him to be, though your push is for selfish reasons, but hey, who doesn't make decisions based on self interests. The same reasons we chastise and put our children under pressure to make them perform, to enable a better future for themselves and ourselves. Ideally, There is no easy way to get someone ambitious as he might not see things the way you do. As soon as any of his younger siblings start to out perform him, he would wake up, if he is not there yet mentally then you cant force it. Learn to move on
Investment › Re: Investors Rush To Nigeria - Bloomberg by profmallor: 3:18pm On May 21, 2020
More suffering for Nigerians in 2020, as Government would over tax everyone to make up for the deficit in the budget from oil prices, Hike in prices of all commodities as the Naira falls further to the dollars. Once the IMF smiles at you, more hardship is on the way. Mechanized Agriculture is the way out

Politics › Re: COVID-19: Lagos Lockdown Online Vote by profmallor: 9:23pm On May 13, 2020
Ask any of the people that have ever caught it, someone from kano or someone who might have lost a soul to this scourge if a full lock down should be reinstated, they have had first hand experience of what we are dealing with. We need to wait this out else, when those with full lockdowns start to recovery, we would be back to square one. Only the living worry about the economy
Christianity Etc › Re: Wearing Facemask About Is An Embarrassment To Science - Pastor Chris Oyakhilome by profmallor: 10:07pm On May 06, 2020
Wearing a face Mask prevents you from mistakenly touching your hands or nose while moving around, prevents an infected person from sneezing on surfaces that might lead and encourage the spread, so while the mask might give some sort of false security, discouraging it outright is just plain sad at this time. Would he rather encourage everyone to throw away their masks?, any little help that can be rendered now can collectively assist in fighting this scourge
Family › Re: Help: My Father Is Killing My Mom Gradually by profmallor: 12:53pm On May 05, 2020
Firstly, I would blame your mum, Yes. As soon as she tried to keep the home together and your dad showed he wasnt interested since he had money, she should have moved on, focused the little resources she has on her future which is you and your siblings. Such men never change and rather than show appreciation would only be an ingrate for the rest of his life, and in so doing can lead you to misbehave towards him. Now strive to keep your mum alive, contact her relatives if you have too, she is their blood, your father is not. Then you now need to seriously work hard, with serious prayers to break the chain of poverty as the first. work is before you.
Politics › Re: Fuel Subsidy Will Not Return, FG Assures IMF by profmallor: 1:02pm On May 04, 2020
Did the calculation, strangely you are correct.

9jaRealist:
Where do you folks get your projections from?

Yes, prices should be deregulated, but Nigeria still imports its gasoline...
N125 (less than 30 cents) per litre is LESS than prices in the UK and the US (even before adding shipping costs).

Frankly, given the ongoing devaluation (by whatever name or method) of the Naira...
The likelihood would be for a price INCREASE in the immediate aftermath of any price or sectoral deregulation.

The BEST hope of deregulation is that OVER TIME increased investment, efficiency and competition in the downstream petroleum industry shall put downward pressure on pricing and hopefully result in significant price moderation, and furthermore the trillions being expended (wasted, IMHO) yearly on subsidy payments or under-recovery would be channeled into physical and social investment (education, healthcare, etc).

Business › Re: Gtbank Overcrowded This Morning: Social Distancing Disregarded by profmallor: 12:47pm On May 04, 2020
What did they expect to happen when they announced a partial ease of the lockdown, they just want Lagos to be another Kano, and its a calculated plan. But it shall fail in Jesus name, even if people catch it, they shall not die in Jesus name, but even it its water they take it shall heal them. The evil they want to see shall not work.
Politics › Re: Fuel Subsidy Will Not Return, FG Assures IMF by profmallor: 11:59am On May 02, 2020
Thieves!, if subsidy has indeed been removed, then the pump price of Fuel should be less than N80 per liter currently, they simply are creating a landing for Dangote refinery to kick-start. Anyway, Let Dangote create more jobs whenever he starts
Health › Re: Ghana Records 1,032 COVID-19 Cases — 10 Days After Lifting Lockdown by profmallor: 10:07am On May 01, 2020
If any state should get a lockdown state, its not Lagos, Lagos is a country on its own> The FG should not allow the Evil vision of Mrs Gates to come through, Lagos would be a disaster if the lockdown is partly lifted. We are all stressed, yes, but partial or total lift off of the lockdown in Lagos would turn Lagos into a Kano state, except that's what they want. This thing is still Killing them in Kano dont see why they must initiate a lift in Lagos.

Education › Re: Lagos Bars Private Schools From Online Teaching by profmallor: 6:15pm On Apr 27, 2020
The kids must of course keep learning but there is just no way that schools on their own should decide to start an academic year in the middle of the current crisis.
Health › Re: Kano Mysterious Deaths by profmallor: 5:41pm On Apr 25, 2020
The Government of Kano know this, they only want the counts to get so high so they call lobby for palliative funds from the Government when they fall just behind Lagos on the severity list, wicked Leaders.

we would all taste death, and I sympathize with His family. But sincerely with the various things we heard about this man, not sure where his heart was cause it seems he was the Cabal. Well, we pray that the Lord would now give the president a listening ear to allow him listen to the plight of Nigerians and feel the pain we all have been feeling, that all the blockages to Mr President would be removed for Nigeria to progress.

They were very eager to close churches and Mosques, but a drive through town today showed enough Owambes, are those not gatherings?. BRTS buses full to the brim, markets and even malls. These convoy cannot be less than 50 people, see them paying lip service to restrictions they put in place.

Crime › Re: Danjuma Yahaya Alli: Man Dies On Top Of Lady During Sex Romp In Abuja Hotel by profmallor: 8:36pm On Jan 26, 2020
Men dying in hotel rooms while having sex with women not their wives is most likely High Blood Pressure this day, rarely do they die at home on their wives, its always on another woman. Men have to start learning to have regular check ups and stop believing sex is the solution to stress. Sex is a form of stress on its own, especially when trying to over perform and prove what cannot be proven. Rarely do you hear of women dying during sex, always men.

I dont think Fulani's have very many friends across Nigeria at the moment. I am almost certain herdsmen killing would slowly and quietly fade away in the coming months to allow for everyone' attention shift away from Herdsmen aggression. This Government is evil, sowing the seeds of division

Foreign Affairs › Re: Iran Identifies 35 US Targets For Retaliatory Strikes After Soleimani's Death by profmallor: 8:11pm On Jan 04, 2020
Ok o, when the Saudi oil facility was blown up not one country mentioned what they would do to Iran, Infact, the Americans persuaded the Saudis to keep quiet and watch. Now that Trump as chosen their General as a scape goat to draw attention away from his home crisis and smother the Ego of Saudi, Iran is making noise. Iran should better behave, the world is filled with blood thirty rulers; from the US, to Saudi to even Israel, its like the world has lost its chill. I m not sure Iran have any friends that would stake their necks for them, not Russia and not China, they would be shocked at how far the likes of Trump would GO to satisfy his Saudi friends.

Many homes face this sort of issue, from newly weds to people that have been married for decades. The man has a different perspective on issues that varies from his wife's. They see the entire experience differently and often times these bottles up conflict and distrust over time. I recommend reading John Grays "what your mother couldnt tell you and your father didn't know". Their home can still be saved
