Romance › Re: Men Who Are Likely To Cheat In Marriage by proo212(m): 3:23pm On Jun 16, 2008
Yes it is a mindset but that also comes with dealing different people in relationships. If you have dated someone else before you get married, you will know that there is nothing new out there. If you do cheat, it is for the lack of a better word, a different dish. Not because it's better, but you want to taste something else.

Being with person all your life, makes some people wonder if they have missed out on something (a different experience) so to speak.

Yes it is mindset but it's also a bit more. My opinions.

I really cannot understand what you are asking? Please kindly rephrase. Are you trying to say some men have erections on purpose?

I read it 3 times and I stil cannot figure out what you are asking

Romance › Re: Why Do The Nigeran Women Reject Me? by proo212(m): 4:47pm On Jun 15, 2008
When I go to a party here, I would expect to have conversations with a couple of people at the very least who are not my friends or my circle of friends.

I might as well just stay at home if I wasn't open to the opportunity of meeting other people.

How can you learn to gist like Naija womenhuh It's not like it's something you pick up as you go along.

@Sistawoman, I guess it depens on your husband's mentality. If he is easygoing openminded, I would mention it and that way he will not leave you by yourself when you are in such situations. I guess it also depends on the women at these gatherings.

People who are "passing through the country" would probably not be open to mixing whilst people that allow the country to pass through them will be open to new experiences.

I think that is key

I think a similar thing happens in a predominantly black club if you see a white woman with a brotha (a decent one at that) and you see the hostility. I'm sure the same can be said other people or cultures.

Iru love iya wo ni yen? I don't even think she loves the guy. She used to him and wonders if she will meet someone or where does she start from when/if she leaves him.

I think they are of the mindeset that you stole their man, (you should stick to you own) kind of thing. Personally I believe once you live away from your origin, anything goes, anyone is fair game,
Romance › Re: When A Relationship Is Not Working Out Fine (guys Only) by proo212(m): 10:12pm On Jun 12, 2008
Well, can you move, change your numbers? I fear a stalker is in the making. You might need a restraining order if it gets excessive.
Romance › Re: Advise Pls (Only Married Men Find Me Attractive) by proo212(m): 10:06pm On Jun 12, 2008
I think it's because the married man are bolder and ooze more confidence when they approach her. Afterall they have nothing to loose. If she says yes then fine. If no then they go back home and be with their wives.

The single guys on the other hand might be a bit cagey (afraid of rejection) in expressing their intentions. So they play it safe. If she says no to them, they have not really risked much ego. That is what I think the situation is, They might also feel a bit intimidated financially.
Romance › Re: When A Relationship Is Not Working Out Fine (guys Only) by proo212(m): 9:52pm On Jun 12, 2008
Well, you said guys only but the ladies have answered. If it's not working for you, by all means leave. There's no need to be unhappy with someone when you can be happy being by yourself.
Romance › Re: How To Woo A Man? by proo212(m): 7:38pm On Jun 12, 2008
@4Her, I kind of agree with eclairs on that by saying I never try to woo (i would not normally use that word). At this age (30's) you pretty much are or aren't interested. Younger women want the older and established guy, your age mates are looking for someone serious, older women are looking someone serious or a toyboy. This is obviously if you're in demand. For some other guys, it's more difficult. I'm not bragging here, just saying what I've seen.

What I would disagree with him though is that people like Sistawoman and HR.Hotness can pretty much get any man they want because they're not abrasive with their personality. They make you feel so comfortable, flirt with you but you think you've got game. All the while you're flirting, they are totally in control but you'll never know. It's fun and refreshing. You can tell they're comfortable within themselves and they know what they want.
Car Talk › Re: Traffic Violations In Lagos State Attract Ridiculous Fines by proo212(m): 4:09pm On Jun 12, 2008
I think what they are trying to do is that since the problem is rampant, shocking people with the fines and one or 2 prosecution will make people toe the line quicker than saying a fine of 10000. Some big men will say, to hell with it and commit the crime because they can afford 10K Naira.

In Germany for instance, you have fines as low as 5 euros for not having a first aid kit. A repeat offence will obviously cost more but there is a database of offenders. This you do not have in Nigeria.

sistawoman:
I agree, I bet if you look back on it there were signs that this man was a cheater and a low life.  again ladies we just have to LISTEN to them not just hear them.  Men will tell us/show us everything we need to know.  Sometimes we are blinded by love, money, sex or all three but you have to be vigilant and LISTEN/WATCH them.  They are not as good at covering it up like us.
Sistawoman, perhaps you can educate some of our sisters who seems to think women have no dark side to them. The last sentence in the quote sums it up for me.

@ Sheniqua,

I dated, is that a sin? If I was galavanting I can understand your concern. All these happened over a 7 year period. I don't get your point. All you can pick from post is that I am man LovePeddler. Your sisters are claiming to be angels whilst they're not. and I thought you are one of the reasonable ones.
