You can't do no right because you're the wrong woman. No you cannot win him over, there are no fairy tales happening here anytime soon.
Romance › Re: A Weapon Called Silence by proo212(m): 11:20am On May 30, 2008
This story has been circulating for a while now.

If the husband loves you then you can use silence, if he doesn't then you're the one who is suffering. But it goes both ways since women are the ones who love to talk about their"feelings"

@JAMCO45 and dee02, Thanks for your mature input on this. Sadly a lot of these highly strung females just don't get it. If he is that way inclined, he will do what he wants to do without you finding out.

Because he still cares and he knows you cannot handle the truth, then he will go on a business trip. Once he's tired of the nagging, he will say he's going clubbing. What are you going to do then? Divorce? He'll say fair enough and good riddance. Both of you lose out.

I'm not asking for the man to mess around but once in a while, I need to be with my friends. I have absolutely no problems with my wife doing a girls night out as often as she wants, within reason of course.
Romance › Re: Hey Ladies, How Wil Ya React If Yo Figure Out Yo Husband Patronises Prostitutes? by proo212(m): 12:50pm On May 28, 2008
If your husband is visiting prostitues, just end it. I may even forgive an affair, but prostitutes, no way. And I'm speaking as a guy.
Romance › Re: Why Do Men Prefer 2 Marry Naive Girls by proo212(m): 12:44pm On May 28, 2008
The man doesn't want his partner to call him out on his crap. More like he's doing her a fvour by opening her eyes and she should be happy with her lot,

Who says the "spoilt girls" cannot make good partners? I'm sure even the spoilt girl just wants someone she can get on well with.

My opinions.
Romance › Re: What Will U Do If Your Husband Can Not Perform? by proo212(m): 12:34pm On May 28, 2008
Hey Frank,

If the woman doesn't want to have sex before marriage, that should still not be a problem per se. But you have to make out and fool around. If you're making out and nothing is happening then "Houston we have a problem". Some people really need to be stimulated to become aroused so this is not a one size fits all package. But these are things you need to be doing anyways. It's fun and the by product is, you get to test the equipment without necessarily having intercourse ;-D

I think you can get away with not having sex before marriage (even though I don't really subscribe to it).

But I believe this is more common than we can imagine (man not being able to perform). And to the people who will stand by their partners, you're talking from your backsides on that one. After waiting goodness knows how long to consumate the relationship, to find out your partner is impotent, please tell me you will not be frustrated.

A woman can still enjoy sex without being able to concieve, a man cannot have sex without an erection. These are different issues. In both cases adoption is an option but then both partners are frustrated if the man cannot perform.

Romance › Re: How Do I Flush Her Out? by proo212(m): 6:02pm On May 24, 2008
@Iz2much, As much as your excuses are kind of lame, you cannot force yourself to be with someone you don't want to be with. You wouldn't want the girl to turn around and dump you and say your prick was too small or you have body odour.

If you live in Manchester, then you cannot just show up at someone's house unannounced. You call first to see if they are at home. This is not Nigeria and I actually don't think that happens anymore in Naija since everyone has a mobile phone.  undecided Except of course she lives close by and sees your lights on.

@ the ladies, (not to sound patronising) but what do you suggest Mr Iz2much should do? Grin and bear it and be unhappy/unfulfilled by staying with someone he doesn't want to be with? He cannot know she has a wide pussy until he has sex with her. Besides he cannot fix it. People come in different shapes and sizes. Enough of the "he made it wide and left her".

Anyone ever thought maybe he was too small for her  grin

Everybody has a reason or the other for no longer wanting to be with someone. Some fickle, some valid. If you are with a boyfriend and you're no longer "feeling it", will you stay?

Perhaps he put her on a pedestal and after spending time with her, he found out she's not perfect afterall. I cannot say if his intentions were just sex but it's not black or white like some of us paint it,

One thing is certain, the bus can never be 70,000 miles. More like 700,000 miles. These buses cost a lot money new and just like passenger airplanes, they make no money covering just a few miles.

The mileage is wrong but it's not really a problem if they've been well looked after.
Romance › Re: Are Women Hypocrites? by proo212(m): 1:07pm On May 07, 2008
You don't understand what i'm saying.

Being with someone physically is different to thinking about someone, longing for someone (when you're with someone else). Sharing your innermost thoughts, and effectively being with someone else emotionally when you're physically with someone else.

Many more men than women can have just the physical release of being physical and that is where it ends. Not saying the physical is not as bad but when your mind is elsewhere, even though you have not crossed the line in giving your body. This is worse in my opinion. It's like you're sleeping with a robot.

If you've been there you'll know what i'm talking about.
Romance › Re: Why Is Extral Marital Affair Normal To Nigerian Men But Abnormal To Their Women by proo212(m): 12:25pm On May 07, 2008
Women are also entrusted with a lot responsbibilities, so what's your point? You are just looking to justify your morality and choices. embarassed

What is wrong is wrong, there's no need to disguise it with grammar. If you can't be faithful, then don't make that kind of a committment. Then everybody is happy
Romance › Re: Are Women Hypocrites? by proo212(m): 12:14pm On May 07, 2008
@Stillwater, it's more than thinking about what is in another man's underpants. If that were your only thoughts when you are cheating, i will be happy.

I think I understand where the poster is coming from. Yes people are hypocrites, because we are people.
What I believe she is trying to point out that, women are quick to label "all men" dogs (or how ever you choose to address them) because it's easy for them to do. You guys are more vocal like that. But turn it around and it's "well I'm not like that", "next time choose your partners wisely", "open your eyes wide" Yes you have to open your eyes when you are choosing.

Not saying all women do this but wherever you go, 3rd world, developing or western world, it's the same and they have good reason too. A lot of men cheat and think it's OK but a lot more women are cheating too, but because they have a higher price to pay if they are caught out (especially in places like Nigeria) they have more to lose. (double standard, I agree). What she is trying to say call a spade a spade. Both genders should be held accountable for their transgressions (cheating) equally. But this is never going to happen though. So we will just agree to disagree.

Emotional cheating is worse in my opinion. She's only with you physically but her mind and heart are somewhere else. You might as well just let her go because you have nothing.

Romance › Re: Do Men Look Past A Woman's Looks? by proo212(m): 1:14am On Apr 30, 2008
Beauty is subjective in my opinion. Some people are Barbie Doll lovers, others are BBW lovers. Some have a range but surely you must find your partner attractive or else how could you possibly desire them? If you like barbie dolls/Rico Suave and you get with a BBW, his/her fantastic personality will only last so long before you stop wanting to be with them physically.
Romance › Re: Would U continue being nice to girls inspite of these? by proo212(m): 11:58am On Apr 23, 2008
@Dutchmillionaire

Not to rehash what Blackman said but never take dating advice on how to get a woman from a woman, No no no no. They will advice you on the perfect scenario they would like. They probably will argue that they are women, so they know what works, (in this case, for them in an ideal world) but when was the last time they had to ask a girl out? The last time i checked, the guys had to ask a girl out. The guys giving you advice are not asking you to be a jerk to women, they are just saying; grow more of a backbone and have an edge.

Believe it or not, i was once a "nice" guy. I used to put women on a pedestal! You can imagine the rest. I had tons of female friends, but never a girlfriend. They all liked me because i was safe but will date my friends who had an edge and treated them like crap. Guess who they complained to when they got that kind of treatment? Me. I was always like why can't she my heart and know that I would absolutely treat her like gold? Some might argue that she wasn't into me. That is subjective. Not everybody can be into you, agreed (but you can also put your best foot forward)

But it took a me a long while to learn that they are just human beings like myself and have insecurities. If you want a new job or a new car, do you not do the groundwork to get it? Women might be complex in how they think (a lot of times) but they are still people. Cause and effect, try something unusual that you not normally do to your female friends and watch the reaction you get.

The sad thing is that once you get older, these same girls (women) will start looking for you to settle with. This will continue to happen as long as there males and females on this planet.

Got my protective shield on for the flaming responses.

Romance › Re: Beauty Or Character, Which One Would You Go For? by proo212(m): 2:42pm On Apr 16, 2008
The first reaction will be to say character. Of course beauty fades, but you also need to find your partner attractive or else it's only a matter of time before you start to make excuses for being with them; even when the character is fantastic. No matter how beautiful a woman is, there is always some guy out there who is tired of her shit, so don't put anyone on a pedestals here. No offence intended to the beautiful people on here.

The question is do you find the "not so beautiful" woman attractive? Other people might see ugly and you see beautiful. If that is the case then go on soun and don't care what people say. If not don't waste both your time and hers.
Car Talk › Re: Most Luxury: BMW Or Mercedes? by proo212(m): 11:43am On Apr 16, 2008
Mercedes Benz are lovely cars, so are BMWs. I concur with Siena on this one. Luxury mean different things to different people. I still believe that BMW are better drivers than Mercedes (this is coming from someone who drives a CLK).

I was disappointed with Mercedes when the New S-Class came out and found out the dashboard was very similar to BMW to 7 Series. I thought Mercedes were innovators. Similar is happening on the new E-Class due out in 09. Picture of the new E Class below. I see the display screen in the middle (BMW), the gear stalk on the steering column (BMW 7-Series), the dial next to the arm rest (a la the much criticised iDrive) Imitation they say is the best form of flattery.

@Echeozo, I would assume you are comparing a Mercedes E63 AMG Estate to a BMW M5 Estate. (like for like). The E63 engine has more torque than the M5 V10 power (no questions) but power wise there is not much to choose between them, so in that guise you can conceed that the Merc won. Mercedes finally got their pound of flesh!

But going back to the original topic - Luxury. When it comes to the oberklasse. The S-Class, Audi A8, BMW 7 Series, Volkswagen Phaeton, Jaguar XJ, Lexus LS and in this regard I will even add the new Maserati Quattroporte, it's all about image now. All of these offer luxury in abundance, all conceivable extras can ordered. They are all fantastic drives. The only cars struggling for image and (not presence) is the Phaeton and Lexus to a large extent in Europe. Probably the best build quality and engineering (apart from the Lexus) in this class but at the end of the day it is still a Volkswagen. The Maserati has its own niche and ever since Ferrari took over has developed better cars.

At end of the day it's all relative, With my money, I will buy a used Phaeton just because I want to be different  cheesy

Romance › Re: How Many Times? by proo212(m): 3:51pm On Apr 10, 2008
I definitely side with the ladies on this one, Almondjoy in particular (who would have thunk it). Yes marriage is a work in progress but that does not give both partners the free ride to be unfaithful (repeatedly). Why did you get married in the first place?

No, this is not being westernised. The guys that do not want to be kicked to the curb by their wives when they cheat, if the tables were turned, would you keep forgiving and working at it? I think not. As a man your ego would not allow that. As a Nigerian man, you and I both know the woman doesn't stand a chance of remaining in the relationship even if she never does it again.

@Izeek, effectively you're saying it's OK for the men to be unfaithful (even though you do not support promiscuity) and the woman should just accept it. Because you ask, how many baby Daddys? What I deduct from your post is that the other man the lady ends up with will be unfaithful to her! Because it is a given. So she just keeps forgiving and forgiving. The lady will eventually have no desire to be with the man since she is unhappy (God help her if she isn't tied to the man financially). The man justifies it by saying my lady doesn't want to get with me. Goes out again and the cycle continues.

Autos › Re: Esp In Cars: Wats Up With It by proo212(m): 7:07pm On Mar 31, 2008
I'll bite and I'm sure more learned people will chip in as time goes on.

ESP,EDC et al. Manufacturers have different names for the same thing.

Like it said, electronic stability program/control. This helps by using the cars' braking system to prevent skidding by braking individual wheels as when needed when "the program" notices slippage on any or all the four wheels. The system works with the ABS.

This also works with the traction control by limiting the engine power to the driven wheels to help with traction or giving more power to the driven wheels with the best grip.
