I noticed that one can't not actually learn all of the whole HTML5 before going into CSS3, cause I was thinking of learning all of them until I met with a developer. He laughed and said I will just waste my time that as I do more projects/jobs I will continue to learn new things.

I just started learning HTML5 two days ago, and sometimes when I go back at it the following day; I find it hard to y recollect everything (especially the syntax) I learnt the previous day, and I have to rewatch the tutorial video again for it to stick.

Good evening ladies and gentle. I am a student and really want to learn front-end programming before the end of next year.

I have tried learning python in the past. I bought an Udemy course but lost interest along the line and hardly practice it now.
My main focus right now is learning FRONT END programming specifically HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I heard that it is much easier to learn and master when compared to python.

Please, I would like to ask the professionals in the house to let me know the best way to go about it without losing interest along the line. I am planning to buy an Udemy course.

Trying working on a real project that serves a purpose as you learn. You will enjoy it more. Take up Chrome Extension and learn HTML, CSS with it. You will have fun and get paid at the same time. The from there you will advance.

na so, I have been there, who pays 150k just to sit on top of fancy wood, or around 70k upwards to bring food inside. I've stayed in beaches outside Naija way finer, and not that expensive.

I run Windows and Ubuntu, I have been dual booting for 8 years with different laptop and nothing serious so far, except I have crashed my Linux, messed up Grub and couldn't boot to either OS, and also deleted all Gnome packages by mistake. All the best

I've been studying some materials on programming on microverse, I'm having problems running some of their codes on my windows laptop, they said I'd have to install Ubuntu since it's an open system. Pls, my question is :
1. My laptop is also been used for other things like school work, will installing Ubuntu not affect it?
2. I no want spoil this laptop, it's the second laptop I'm buying in a short time
3. They said something about dual Installation, pls can you guys explain. Thanks all
I must say though, programming is kinda interesting.

Do you need Linux or Ubuntu Distro itself, Windows 10 comes with Window Subsystem for Linux meaning you can run Ubuntu without the Distro in windows. However if you want Ubuntu itself. I am afraid the advice of Youtube is accurate because you can mess things up.

1. You need to know if you are using Legacy or UEFI
2. How to partition your hard disk
3. Know what Bootloaders are, cuz if you mess it up, you will need expertise to fix it.
4. Get a USB drive, and install unetbootbin, download the Ubuntu ISO
5. Boot up from USB and select LiveUSB
6. Install , remember about the partition
7. What is your ram if it is less than 4, then you need a partition for Swap (using HDD as memory)
8. Do you know Ubuntu filesystem e.g ext4

Watch Youtube videos for more Guidance, but if you are not willing to watch YT videos

Do the following:
1. Back up your HDD, because there's a high chance you will mess it up and lose both OS

Linux is straightforward but when it goes south, you will be in a world of frustration.
