Learning algorithm will require you have some knowledge in discrete mathematics topics like logic, number theory, induction and recursion, cryptography, set, matrices, probability, graph, all bunch of topics that sum up to discrete mathematics. Learning them can be daunting. You will need them for design and analysis of algorithm, actually.

Yeah I feel 6 months is okay however if you want to learn for interviews you can learn some, most companies repeat the same question or use code-recruitment.

I honestly hate making calls, I hardly call ANYONE, in fact the last I spoke with my mom was 6 months ago... Is worse with my siblings and relatives. I can go a year or more without calling them.

I don't pick any call I didn't expect, neither do I return missed calls.

I hate sending people wishes, be it on social media, text or physical.
All my social media handles are in ghost mode, except my business WhatsApp.

I hardly reply messages on my personal WhatsApp line.

Although I get really busy most times, but I don't
think it's an excuse enough. I've tried changing, but it isn't working.

It seems the only place I reply to people is on Nairaland, I've never clicked a "Like button" on the internet before... I have phobia for it.

How can I adjust? I spend 99.99% of my free time Alone in a quiet place soul traveling to universe.

You will be depressed and isolated if you keep this up, no cap , talk to people esp family

You see it as owe favour, but I see it as appreciation. Anybody who comes through for me, I always come through for them, most men understand this concept, as for the women, I tend to help less as there's another guy who can help. You need people who can come through for you in one way or the other, it could be informing me of a good deal or referral. Even in Prison and Street life it's nothing new

I used to say that data structures and algorithms isn't important but na lie o. See as a junior to mid level Dev it's very very important to learn data structures and algorithms regardless of what you do. Let's even leave job aside, you need solid knowledge of data structures and algorithms to do your day to day job. Building solid infinite scrolls In react require you to know graph traversal very well and I am talking of small scale projects o not large projects that are serving millions of users.

Now even in platform Dev I used to tell qtguru that you don't need DSA thats a big lie. You need DSA to write efficient code in platforms even more than general development as this platforms are very restrictive with how data is pulled and manipulated. Take Salesforce for instance. Just two for loops will throw errors all over the whole code base and this is for a small org with like 20 contacts. Imagine working on a large org that has like 1 million contacts writing double and triple four loops. You won't last a week on the job.

I started learning DSA and taking it seriously and I implore every junior and mid level Dev to do so too. Not just for a bigger job or money but for your growth.

I think the reason you think it is common among Igbos is because Igbos have more people with good and understanding hearts maybe due to the fact that they have higher people who have made it from the bottom to the top.

True but I find that the igbos from own observation have a sense of business focus regardless of illiteracy not saying it doesn't exist in other tribes, but more igbos are more inclined to move towards Business and Entrepreneurship.
