TravelRe: Passengers Exchange Blows In Moving Airplane by question(m): 11:04am On Jan 24, 2008
Rather, what he did was to throw abusive words at the crew.
At this time, another passenger sitting close to him was said to have been miffed by the development and ordered the errant caller to shut up. The caller was said to have faced his fellow passenger and rained curses on him.

Within seconds, the verbal warnings snowballed into fisticuffs as both passengers threw heavy punches at each other. At this time, the aircraft was said to have approached the holding point from where the pilot ordered that they disembark the aircraft.

Expectedly, the pilots called for the immediate arrest of the duo who became unwilling guests of policemen stationed at the airport. Media officer of the Chanchangi Airlines, Adamu Ibrahim who confirmed the story on phone expressed happiness that the fighting men were handed over to relevant authorities.

“It actually happened just when they were taxing, the noise from the passengers were too much she insulted the crew
Was a lady involved in the fight or is this a typo error from The Sun news reporters?

invisible!:
@ question, the NSE is still 'immune' or do I use 'insulated' to all those crashes and falls in the global economy. This is one area where it is good to be a poor nation. grin grin Let their stocks keep falling untill we go in and help them buy up some stake, we are their business friends, what are friends for anyway? grin grin grin
@ Invisible, Some of the NSE big banks have foreign investors and investments like the GDRs
What if these investors/investments are affected by the global economic crunch.

BillGatesFan:
His questions calls for deep reflection, where are his friends who laugh and eat with him? where are the Governors who gave him red carpet? Out of 150 million Nigerians none was there for this great singer, and God sent an INDIAN a man from a country the world says don't know GOD, that they are Magicians and Idol worshipers, the same country GOD Raise a man to assist a man of GOD in Nigeria where we have so many Miracle healing Pastors, signs and wonders pastors, rain maker pastors, fire Invocation pastors ETC, yet this pastors can't help a fellow pastors in need, now the question is ARE THEY REALLY PASTORShuhARE THEY REALLY MEN OF GOD. I know Jesus said in the Bible when you see poor people, sick people, hungry people, naked people, suffering and you do not help them, YOU DO THAT UNTO ME,So are christians following the teachings of CHRIST?

Echidime talk about PMAN AND NOLLYWOOD assisting their guys thats true,I will also like to add that CHRISTIAN PASTORS should also organise themselve to assist fellow pastors in need if really they are pastors preaching the same Kingdom of GOD our CREATOR.

AN INDIAN Assisting a man of GOD In Nigeria,This is shocking, thats means Indian are the real practicing christians while Nigerians are the Idol Worshipers, for Nigerians worship GOD with their lips only while their heart is far from GOD's Teachings.
Na true you talk my brother.
Nigerian Pastors are not united. They do not practice what they preach.

, a house divided against itself shall not stand Matt 12 :25

I wish Sonny Okosun quick recovery. In Jesus Name.

Amen

FamilyRe: Visa Lottery Reveals Wife's Infidelity by question(m): 1:00pm On Jan 14, 2008
Hmmmmmmmm, wonders shall never end. Recently, a struggling couple won Visa lottery and everybody was happy that at last solution has come to their problems, but little did they know that it was the beginning of some startling revelations and problems in the marriage.

The requirement for granting the visa is that there should be a DNA test to confirm the paternity of the children. The test was conducted and it was discovered that two of the children are not the husband's children. This has caused a lot of stress in the home.

If you were the husband:

1. what would you do, first to the wife?

2. What would you do to the children?
what would the US embassy do to that family (husband, wife and children)?

First son of former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Gbenga, has sensationally accused him and his father-in-law, Otunba Alex Onabanjo, of sleeping with his wife, Mojisola.
Does this mean Alex Onabanjo slept with his own daughter, shocked

We must not wait for the English man to give everything a name.

Even things they had never seen or known before.

That was how we waited for Mungo Park to come and name the River Niger and almost every other thing in Africa.

I hereby name this fruit Shawachop. period!!!

Nimshi:
@blueband: who's your account officer at Futureview? My account officer just left and the new one they gave me, I'm not so sure,  Orders unexecuted in the last 4 trading days; money transfers not reflected on my account for three/four working days, plus, I get an email that goes: ", sorry 4 all d dlay; bin tryin 2 sort tins out; will try 2 get it don"; that's the second email I'm getting from this person; if this's a hint of things to come, then the future view isn't bright,  The old account officer was marvellous.
.
The quality of service depends a lot on the individual handling your account.
The same thing happened to me last year in FutureView. Though it was the other way round (My new account officer is 100% better than the previous one.)

@ blueband, have you ever accessed your updated account statement online on the FutureView website?
InvestmentRe: Stock Market Tips For Nigerians by question(m): 1:03pm On Jan 02, 2008
So, what should be the ideal portfolio mix, for long timers like me? I suggest three banks, one ‘old’ bank (FBN), a second generation bank (INTERCONT. Or GTB) and a no hoper, like UNITY or SPRING bank. I also suggest at least two insurance firms, a large one(WAPIC) and a small one(LASACO). One food company should be considered, I am currently torn between NBC and Dangote sugar. One drug firm is good for the pot, but since NGC does some drugs, I will go for them as they cover some domestic products as well. A brewer is needed, and I will vote for NB ahead of Guinness, I have my reasons.
@ Invisible, with all the milk and honey flowing in the banking sector you are suggesting ONLY 3 BANKS? I think the banks should be about 50% of one's investment in NSE.
For me I have 70% of my portfolio in 6 banks.

@ lokwe
one day he asked me why i am buying a particular stock, when i broke it down for him, forward/Backward PE, Earnings, trendline, DIvidend Yield, Moving averages, Bollinger bands, Offer and Bid positions, PVI, DMI, OBV, RSI and NVI etc he was dumbfounded, so smarten up, don't ask your broker anything again, do your own research and be responsible for your investments/wealth,

You can all this stuff at www.investopedia.com -- thx to easimoni for showing me the site
Do you think the quack stockbrokers are happy that you are teaching them their job?
I am sure they always come to this forum to learn work.

Be it a reality or a rumour, it depicts a signal that the evil tools in power have again shown us what they are really up to. We masses know quite well that they are into all these just for their selfish interest to close their wardrobe of corruption. We all know that they are deceiving us. Let us wait and see where they are heading to , since we dont have the power to persuade the political garrsion in control.
