Dumbest post ever. What exactly is wrong with her dress?

Apart from being ugly, I don't see anything indecent about it. What kind of hypocritical morons live in Nigeria?

There is nothing as self-limiting as denial.

Nigeria is unsafe as hell. While It is no less safe than some neighborhoods in Chicago, it is still HIGHLY unsafe.

Denial of this fact solves no problems, and only attempts to use Nigeria's typical "suffering and smiling" approach.

hopefully, it does not happen to me ... re-evaluate ur opinion at this point. There are vital issues to be handled to put all things in place in this country so why would the so called EFCC settle for less to deal with minor issue, I guess to distract Us from the main issue

Not only do I hope it happens to you, but also, when you report it to authorities, I hope you're told:

"There are vital issues to be handled to put all things in place in this country." "so why would the so called EFCC settle for less to deal with minor issue"

If you think cybercrime is a "minor issue" for Nigeria, then you're either ignorant of the hard facts, or an enabler.

Nigeria itself loses N127 billion to cybercrime annually.
In 2013 alone, Nigerian online scams raked in an estimated $12.7 billion from victims globally. Try converting that to Naira, and see if you still think fraudsters like these are a "minor issue."

Not to mention the social reputation damage, particularly as a Nigerian-American. The first thing that comes up when someone finds I'm originally Nigerian is "the emails." About 90% of the time.

So lady, the fact that your doctor treats terminally ill people doesn't mean your malaria isn't worth treating.

Very true.

Although, I must add that Nigeria is still a far way from freedom of speech.

I can write "Obama" on a pig and parade it in front of the white house, and except I actually breach the peace, nothing will happen.

His actions were in poor taste. However, if freedom of speech and expression existed in Nigeria, the government would not intervene.

My verdict: Both sides are wrong.

I agree with your points but remember the golden rule "only Nigerians have the sole right to disrespect Nigeria" any foreign entity will be reacted to

Obviously, it wasn't an attempt at disrespect by the Brazilians, just good ol' third world lousiness.

That said, Nigerians can react all they want to third-party opinions online about Nigeria.
However, it won't change the harsh realities they must return to, as soon as they drop their phones and laptops.

It is indeed pathetic for Brazil to make this kind of mistake. Rio 2016 have really started on the wrong note i must tell you. Playing a wrong National Anthem for a country Like Nigeria? I sincerely hope the Zikka Virus didn't affect the person in that control room ....lol. Why am i even laughing cuz this is not a laughing matter.

After the wrong Nigerian National anthem was played, Nigerians took to twitter to express their disappointment and displeasure at the organizers of the 2016 Rio Olympics. Read some of the comments ....

I find it amusing when people stay stuff like this. "A country like Nigeria."

Nigeria is a totally worthless country outside of Africa, and in the grand scheme of things.

Aren't we talking about the same country where its athletes at THIS SAME tournament are facing starvation from neglect?
I bet deep down they were happy they didn't have to listen to that trash.

Of the 3 million threads, approximately:

-2,900,000 = trash threads.

-90,000 = okay threads,

-10,000 = good threads.

Of the 1,628,740 members, approximately:

-50,000 = active members.

-Remaining 1,578,744 members = duplicate, barely active, dormant, banned and abandoned accounts.

Education / Re: I'm In 300 Level With Poor Grades: Advice Needed by ramalot(m): 1:40pm On Jul 26, 2016
Stark22:
I don't know where to begin but post this with a sad heart.
Before I started my course, I had this feeling that I wasn't meant to be in that department. I was encouraged by friends and family members to continue that I'll have interest later on. My results kept on getting bad but instead of it motivating me to work harder, it changed me entirely and I am doubting myself cos I know how good I was compared to what I keep seeing on my results.

Does fate really prevent progress or what?

300 level sitting on 1.1 something and I don't expect it to improve cos I think my mindset is really affecting it; meaning no matter the amount of reading I do, it won't really work.

I thought a lot of guys and they're doing pretty well, don't know what's wrong.

it's appalling when people who look up to you are doing better than you.

What if I switched departments back then? I believe things wouldn't have gotten to this stage.

I just need counselling from you guys.

it's really serious and I'm sad.

Even people who used me to brag back then would be shocked to find out about my current situation.

This here is your issue. Get rid of that mentality, and learn to hold YOURSELF accountable for your outcomes.

NOT fate, NOT "your enemies," but your lack of adequate academic input. Until you do that, your grades will suffer.

The key to academic success is to study the material with genuine interest in the subject matter. Good grades would come as a bonus.
If you're studying only to pass an exam, you're better off not being in school, as you'll forget it all the second you drop your pen anyway.

It is not about the addictive nature alone but about the original intentions of the creators. There is a new world order coming up and big brother is using every measure possible to control the hearts of humans from government policies, to food, to the music, to lifestyle. You may not be able to avoid all these but knowledge of it will help.
Why do you think at the time of intensity of #blacklivesmatter# more blackpeople are being killed in cold blood, who is filming it and why?

the average black man cannot think for himself and that was what someone like Tupac was trying to tell his people (blacks) and they ended up killing the man.

. Very soon the world won't be able to think for themselves then the one world government would take sit.

If you do not believe that the illuminati exists then everything I'm saying now won't even make sense to you. Good day

**Brace yourself for a long-ass response**

Oh poor innocent girl. She saw a few Youtube videos about the new world order conspiracy theory, and is now an expert on nefarious underworld plots.

That is highly ironic for someone speaking about "thinking for yourself." The question is ARE YOU?
Which part of anything you've just said did you come up with after careful observation, personal FACT finding and deliberation?
Yeah, that's what I thought. Two 5 minute Youtube videos made by some idiots earned you a degree on the matter.

Saying things like "original intention of the creators" (with ZERO evidence) only amounts to a case of chronic paranoia.
Until you can stand before a court of law and deliver an evidentiary case to that effect, you've only been a victim of gullibility.

"who is filming it and why?" <-- This might be the least intelligent thing I've heard in a long time, but I'll bite.
Who is filming? - Everyday pedestrians with cellphones (same damn way people now film everything else).
Why? - Because why the hell not? It's called witness evidence, lady.

Tupac died the same way every wannabe thug dies on the streets of Chicago. You live the lifestyle, you die by the lifestyle. Nothing more to it. This month so far, there has been a shooting in Chicago EVERY 1.6 hours. Some wounded, some killed. I bet all these shootings are also orchestrated by the mysterious "they." It has absolutely nothing to do with gang banging, drugs and the thug life.

The Illuminati? We're really going down this rabbit hole, aren't we?
Let me guess, when you see "the all seeing eye," "the pyramid" or the "square and compasses" you jump up and shout ILLUMINATI.

Every one of these symbols are masonic symbols. Do you know the difference between the Freemasons and the Illuminati?

Freemasonry isn't something whose existence is outside of the public eye. Hell, there is a big-ass masonic lodge in the downtown area about 2 miles from my house. It's the third oldest lodge in the world - i'ts been there since 1899. The Freemasons have recruitment ads on TV over here. I know a number of Freemasons personally - coworkers, clients etc.

That said, I don't know what they discuss in there, and neither do you. Anyone who claims they know the detailed activities of a secret society, and are themselves not members, are deluded.
The silly conspiracy theory of a new world order has been perpetuated before your parents were born, and will be perpetuated after your kids die of old age.

To this end, my advice to you is to preoccupy yourself with constructive things that actually help you. And things that are relevant to your society. Almost every new world order premise does not apply to the Nigerian society, as Nigeria has always been worse off than any end result of a new world order can bring. Lack of freedoms, communism and such.

Your mind is in the right place (searching for underlying truth), but searching in the wrong direction and wrong sources. Be inquisitive, but not gullible. Retrace your steps and focus on facts, not knee-jerk fear induced reactions, and you'll be golden. smiley
