Yesterday, being 24th of December (Christmas Eve), I decided to hang out with some few friends in my neighbourhood. I had already told myself that I would not go far from my house as regards this year's Christmas eve because man is not getting younger I really needed some quiet time to myself so I could meditate. I never finish my Harp Beer before some of my crazy friends come use dia Reggae take disturb my blues. After much pressuring, I decided to go out with them and see what was happening around the town. I noticed the following:1. Drunken people everywhere! Some dor stupor sotay dem lie down for ground, dey vomit. Is this the essence of Christmas? Makes me wonder if truly, the day is not attached to pagan worship as I have read. 2. Married men who secretly lied to their wives that they were going to see one relative or the other, but ended up in beer parlors with girls who are younger than their last child. Today, being 25th, am sure they wore big white flowing agbada and took the front row in church. Uncle Solo, God dey see you o! ![]() 3. Small girls everywhere! I guess most of these children left home in pretense of going to church. There was one I saw...I nor sure say that girl dor clock 16 sef! See how these kids drank and smoked as if their mouths na exhaust pipes! There were also enough boys around to give them the f**king of their life ![]() Seriously speaking, are these the expected things that should go with Christmas celebrations? White man wey introduce Christianity to our naïve people nor dey misbehave during this season. Omo, wetin dey worry us sef? Kilode? Pls, post your Christmas eve's observations... |
thaoriginator:Vote for who? That should not be the issue. On a serious note, whoever you vote makes no difference. What's the difference between six and half a dozen? |
Most people claim to know much and quick to rain insults on Jonathan or Buhari at every now and then, lack political education. They are many in Politics section. Some even went as far as studying Political Science in school! |
CrazyScientist:The mods relax and watch how Nairalanders fool themselves...they now see it as fun! Can't you get it? They will continue to take topics like that to FP coz they know the E-cowards will insult themselves! |
pelumiiakinboye:The mods put topics like the ones mentioned on FP? Fine, that's a fault on their part. What about Nairalanders who curse and post all sort of trash as soon as they sight such threads? This trend is just pure madness. I can't imagine youths in America or Europe doing such...they are much enlightened and are concerned with holding their leaders responsible for anything that goes wrong. Are our youths this daft? |
Each time I log on to Nairaland, topics such as "Buhari is a Goat", says Reuben Abati' or "Jonathan is an Ignoramus", says Tinubu' often greet me. Topics like these often feature on the FP too. Why can't the youths use their sense? Should we be raining abuses on one another in order to score a point for Jonathan or Buhari? What's even the difference between Jonathan and Buhari? The former promised us stable power supply which we have not seen and which is likely a huge scam! The latter told us that he would cause trouble if he didn't win the election in 2011! Imagine that! I don't think any right thinking youth who has a vision for himself/herself would want to waste such precious energy on raining curses on people because of Jonathan and Buhari. You guys should just stop this madness! It seems some peeps are just capitalizing on Sahara Reporters and the likes to post rubbish!!! Abeg, make una get sense small. |
ireneony:I guess you don't even know what music means. If you knew, you wouldn't say such. I am sure you were still in elementary school when Moddy was killing the airwaves! |
Amefrica:Why do ye seek for attention among the females? Does thou not knowest the consequences of holding a man's private? |
Betting...the bane of Nigerian youth! I wonder how someone would want to use 200 naira to win 10 million And your white singlet dor turn brown. You nor fi change am sef ![]() |
Nice write-up, op. U dor observe well well No. 8 on your list...self-acclaimed moderators...same reason why I had to reply emusmith. |
tosyne2much:Man of God? Lol |
Tosyne2much, don't you think the topic of your thread should have been ' 10 Silly Things Silly Guys Do To Get Laid?' That your No. 5 sha! Anyone who does that in this present time of ours needs medical check-up ![]() |
Seriously, I've been wondering if these tactics would work on Warri babes They wouldn't care whether you do On and Off, or whether you do Pull back or Pull out! All they understand is the naira sign ![]() |
9Too:Thanks bro. |
Lumyboi:b This is the problem with most young men! Instead of striving to better their lives, they engage themselves in trying to get attention from the female folks. This will not put food on your table. Ask successful men today if that is what they engaged themselves in several years ago. Who nor get sense, nor rili get sense! |
Op, you goofed! Why didn't you just suggest to the male folks to be themselves? It is better to be real! Be yourself! Are you suggesting people should change your opinions and personality just to attract females? Grow up pls! |
The Internet has now become a place where people confer qualities of husband material and wife material on persons they have not even met before. What's your basis for judging peeps as this and that material? You guys should just grow up, please. This is just an act of attention seeking. |
Op, you never learn English finish, you come here come dey talk about pipo for Religious section, abi? ![]() |
Op, how old are you? And when did you become a member of Nairaland? It seems you have a personal thing for these young women. If not, how could you have produced this list from the comfort of your home? Do you know these people personally? Have you stayed with them for a long time? People could be very deceptive you know. Am not saying the young women you mentioned are bad. All am saying is: You don't conclude that someone is a wife material with your internet-based facts and observations! It is either you are still very young or very far from marriage! One last thing, the way you see them could be different from the way others see them. The internet is not a place to know whether one is a wife material or not. There's even someone on your list that doesn't tolerate opinions different from hers! Imagine that. Happy Sunday. |
RaeMystix:Sister, you lied! |
tosyne2much:Seconded! Gbam! |
herald9:Hmmm...but they said Uniben takes 45k as acceptance fee! |
Ghyft:Am fine, gurl ![]() |
Ghyft:Sister, how ur side? How's life? |
pak:I think u have a point there. |
DesChyko:Nah, when I was in 100L. That should be in 2003. Some 11 yrs ago, bro. ![]() |
Karleb:Thanks bro, I nor just understand that guy at all. We dey talk one thing, but the guy just dey talk another thing. Pls, Ishiamu, I don't know how you do your thinking. Does it mean the girls should not attend school because only people who want to be rich do? Abeg, think well! |
youngwarlocks:If you were enlightened, you wouldn't say that ![]() |
DesChyko:I still remember when everything you pay as a 100 level student was just about 45k to 50k in Anambra State University! Na wa o! |
ozo13:Any university that collects 500k as school fee should be a private university. I don't think any public uni does that. |
Bolaji21:Our country dor dabaru! |

Why would you beat a woman like that, when even heavily pregnant? Smh.
