Nairaland GeneralChristmas: A Reason For Immorality In Nigeria? by Rapmoney(op): 3:15pm On Dec 25, 2014
Yesterday, being 24th of December (Christmas Eve), I decided to hang out with some few friends in my neighbourhood. I had already told myself that I would not go far from my house as regards this year's Christmas eve because man is not getting younger grin I really needed some quiet time to myself so I could meditate. I never finish my Harp Beer before some of my crazy friends come use dia Reggae take disturb my blues. After much pressuring, I decided to go out with them and see what was happening around the town. I noticed the following:

1. Drunken people everywhere! Some dor stupor sotay dem lie down for ground, dey vomit.
Is this the essence of Christmas? Makes me wonder if truly, the day is not attached to pagan worship as I have read.

2. Married men who secretly lied to their wives that they were going to see one relative or the other, but ended up in beer parlors with girls who are younger than their last child. Today, being 25th, am sure they wore big white flowing agbada and took the front row in church. Uncle Solo, God dey see you o! grin

3. Small girls everywhere! I guess most of these children left home in pretense of going to church. There was one I saw...I nor sure say that girl dor clock 16 sef! See how these kids drank and smoked as if their mouths na exhaust pipes! There were also enough boys around to give them the f**king of their life grin

Seriously speaking, are these the expected things that should go with Christmas celebrations? White man wey introduce Christianity to our naïve people nor dey misbehave during this season. Omo, wetin dey worry us sef? Kilode?

Pls, post your Christmas eve's observations...

@ Rapmoney, so who will you vote next year?
Vote for who? That should not be the issue. On a serious note, whoever you vote makes no difference. What's the difference between six and half a dozen?
PoliticsRe: Jonathan And Buhari: The New Madness Of Nairalanders!!! by Rapmoney(op): 10:13pm On Dec 23, 2014
Most people claim to know much and quick to rain insults on Jonathan or Buhari at every now and then, lack political education. They are many in Politics section. Some even went as far as studying Political Science in school!

Thank you! We should blame the mods too for not deleting such topics.
The mods relax and watch how Nairalanders fool themselves...they now see it as fun! Can't you get it? They will continue to take topics like that to FP coz they know the E-cowards will insult themselves!

The MODS are responsible for this!
The mods put topics like the ones mentioned on FP? Fine, that's a fault on their part. What about Nairalanders who curse and post all sort of trash as soon as they sight such threads? This trend is just pure madness. I can't imagine youths in America or Europe doing such...they are much enlightened and are concerned with holding their leaders responsible for anything that goes wrong. Are our youths this daft?
PoliticsJonathan And Buhari: The New Madness Of Nairalanders!!! by Rapmoney(op): 9:48pm On Dec 23, 2014
Each time I log on to Nairaland, topics such as "Buhari is a Goat", says Reuben Abati' or "Jonathan is an Ignoramus", says Tinubu' often greet me. Topics like these often feature on the FP too. Why can't the youths use their sense? Should we be raining abuses on one another in order to score a point for Jonathan or Buhari? What's even the difference between Jonathan and Buhari? The former promised us stable power supply which we have not seen and which is likely a huge scam! The latter told us that he would cause trouble if he didn't win the election in 2011! Imagine that!

I don't think any right thinking youth who has a vision for himself/herself would want to waste such precious energy on raining curses on people because of Jonathan and Buhari. You guys should just stop this madness! It seems some peeps are just capitalizing on Sahara Reporters and the likes to post rubbish!!!

Abeg, make una get sense small.

This is the problem with most young men! Instead of striving to better their lives, they engage themselves in trying to get attention from the female folks. This will not put food on your table. Ask successful men today if that is what they engaged themselves in several years ago. Who nor get sense, nor rili get sense!
RomanceRe: 4 Ways To Become Popular And Attract The Females In Romanceland by Rapmoney(m): 11:16am On Dec 21, 2014
Op, you goofed! Why didn't you just suggest to the male folks to be themselves? It is better to be real! Be yourself! Are you suggesting people should change your opinions and personality just to attract females? Grow up pls!

The Internet has now become a place where people confer qualities of husband material and wife material on persons they have not even met before. What's your basis for judging peeps as this and that material? You guys should just grow up, please. This is just an act of attention seeking.

Op, how old are you? And when did you become a member of Nairaland? It seems you have a personal thing for these young women. If not, how could you have produced this list from the comfort of your home? Do you know these people personally? Have you stayed with them for a long time? People could be very deceptive you know. Am not saying the young women you mentioned are bad. All am saying is: You don't conclude that someone is a wife material with your internet-based facts and observations! It is either you are still very young or very far from marriage! One last thing, the way you see them could be different from the way others see them. The internet is not a place to know whether one is a wife material or not. There's even someone on your list that doesn't tolerate opinions different from hers! Imagine that. Happy Sunday.

Nairaland GeneralRe: Home Page Updates: We Need Your Feedback! by Rapmoney(m): 4:13pm On Dec 19, 2014
tosyne2much:
Seun, my observations goes thus

1. I don't like the fact that FP is centred on only two nairalanders even when their topics sometimes seem to be poo (partiality shouldn't be encouraged)

2. The front page is too jam-packed.. The super moderators should let one topic digest b4 moving another one

3. Ridiculous topics seems to be making FP lately. FP is the interface of the forum which people will use to judge the entire forum, therefore, you have to move sensitive topics to the FP

4. FP topics shouldn't only be centred on Romance, Celebrities and Politics section alone.. We also need to laugh, two topics from the Jokes section daily isn't a bad idea (it's just like moderators are trying to let us know that all other section aside the aforelisted ones are inferior)

5. I don't like the fact that some untrue stories are being moved to the FP.. That is, cooked up stories. We don't need a prophet to tell us that some stories are not true

7, Too much related threads moved to the FP will cause lack of interest on such thread.. E.g, Why You Should Never Have Sex Before Marriage, another one, Why Virginity Is The Best You Can Give To Your Partner, another one, Why A Lady Should Keep Her Virginity.. You should understand what I mean Seun

8. The only reward you can give to Nairalanders is by encouraging them by moving their thread to FP. People are not encouraged to create good threads anymore. Therefore, Nairalanders should be given an opportunity to explore their talents

9. I don't like the fact that educational topics barely Hit FP.. 3-4 Threads from Education section should be making FP rather than all these, Pictures of Wizkid and Ice Prince son

10. Lastly, unique topics which we are not familiar with should be hitting FP rather than all those, How To Make A Man Love You, How To Propose To A Lady, My Landlord Son Is Asking For Hand In Marriage, How Do I Tell Him I'm Not Interested

In addition, Seun I don't like the fact that you are not friendly to nairalanders.. I'm a good observer so I know what I'm saying

** Seun Pls Quote Me After Reading This **

As much as I agree with the main focus of this thread, I disagree with this particular quote ! Most of these girls do runs to be seen as 'big' girls amongst their peers, get the latest phones, stay in posh hostels and if possible own a car.

You'll hardly ever see a girl sleep around to pay her school fees, so so rare !
I think u have a point there.
