RomanceRe: The Lies Of The "No Sex Before Marriage" Deals. by Redman44(m): 1:11pm On Sep 01, 2013
I also want to add that sex is a spiritual thing no matter how the crazy world we live in wants to paint it. Homes and Marriages are being wrecked daily because of irresponsible sex. When you have sex with a man or woman, both of you are spiritually bonding with one another. You exchange bodily fluids during sex and these fluids contain blood cells. The ecstasy derived from sex is what makes the bonding take place. A man who sleeps with Prostitutes will become a very confused man. He has bonded with a lot of strange women and different energies are raging in his body. This kind of man will never stay in one place and will have no purpose in life. The same thing applies to a woman who sleeps with many men. No man will satisfy such a woman in bed and many of these promiscuous ladies do not have a defined career path. So it is not a wise thing to keep sampling all the babes and guys in your hood. You will end up harming your destiny by absorbing the negative energies from different people. Remember what happened to Samson in the bible. Delilah's negative energies made him weak and he was easily captured by the Philistines in the end. Guys, don't thrust your 'Thing' between the thighs of the Delilahs we have in town these days. You will end up falling from Grace to Grass. Cheers.
RomanceRe: The Lies Of The "No Sex Before Marriage" Deals. by Redman44(m): 12:54pm On Sep 01, 2013
Hmn. This is a very serious discussion. There are still many chaste guys and ladies in Nigeria but their numbers are dwindling by the day. There is nothing wrong in being a virgin. Sex should not be seen as food as there are more important things than sex. I believe if a lady is not a virgin, she should not lie to her fiance that she is one. Why trying to cover up something that will be exposed after the wedding sad sad sad sad? Some ladies and guys are just too deceitful. If a woman can lie to a man about her virginity, that woman can kill the husband one day. I am a advocate of 'No Sex Before Marriage' because the word of God must be obeyed to the last letter. Sampling ladies before marrying one of them is borne out of pure greed. Sampling your woman before marrying her does not guarantee that she will give you children or that your Marriage will be a success. There are many childless couples in Nigeria that slept with each other several times before Marriage.

And deciding to pick a woman from the church as your wife, is not always the best option. The church is full of all kinds of people who come from different backgrounds. There was this sister in my church who was an usher. She was married but I must confess that she had a well rounded behind, tall and pretty. She was childless at that time. I was close to her husband and I used to do a lot of things for him. As time went on, I observed that this lady had some excesses and I found out that she was not being faithful to her husband. She used to make advances at me anytime I was in their house. It was so easy to sleep with her but I stood my ground. Yet in church, she was the 'Holy Holy' type. So what am I saying? The church is full of wolves in sheep's clothing. The church is full of troubled people. Virginity is a good virtue and ladies and guys who are virgins should be adored and encouraged. Cheers.
TravelRe: How Long Have You Lived In Diaspora & When Are You Returning Home? by Redman44(m): 1:29pm On May 26, 2013
Let me start by saying Nigerians need to start thinking like the Pakistani, Bangladeshi and Indian people. These Asians travel just like we do to Europe and North America just like we do. They however have a different mentality from us. They don't don't oppose themselves in a hostile manner like we do on Nairaland. Instead, they pool their resources together to fashion out a great lifestyle for themselves in the western world. I am currently in Birmingham ( UK ) and I am impressed with the mindset of some Asians I have come across. I am yet to see a very successful Nigerian business chain in the UK either in Retail, Engineering etc. Yesterday, I shopped at LATIFS in Birmingham. It was my first time of going there and I was shocked to discover that it is owned by a Pakistani family. The place is so big that you can't possibly cover the whole building on foot. And the facilities there are very modern. It has different floors and the things sold there are affordable and authentic. I saw a lot of White people buying things there. Instead of logging on to Nairaland to criticize ourselves and ask for Nigerians in diaspora to return home, why can't we emulate the Asians and seek to conquer Europe business wise? What is really wrong with us as Nigerians?

Harrods in London is owned by an Egyptian sad sad His name is Mohammed Al Fayed. He also owns Fulham Football Club. Nigerians have been immigrating to the UK for some time now. What have we achieved collectively cry cry cry cry? I'm not talking about us operating Barbing Salons or small restaurants ( Even our small African Restaurants have issues ). The white people prefer eating the Indian, Bengal, Pakistani and Bangladeshi cuisines than our own delicacies cry cry cry Why are we not marketing our food to Westerners huh huh huh?. It is true that there is nowhere like home. However, what opportunities is Nigeria presenting to her citizens? I was in Nigeria recently and things haven't changed that much. Constant electricity has still not been achieved in Nigeria. I could not sleep well due to the noise of Generators. I stayed with our first born and all the flats in the compound had generators cry cry You can imagine the noise I had to endure every night as I battled to get some sleep. Yes, people do menial jobs in the UK and the USA, but they also move on to better jobs as the years go by. Nigerians migrate to the USA, Canada and the UK in different circumstances. I did not come to the UK as a student. I came on visiting and did not return to Nigeria because of my circumstances. People that came to the UK on student visas get a UK Degree that helped them get on the ladder of professional jobs. I did not have a chance to study in the UK. I am legal in the UK now and I am gradually learning the secrets of succeeding as an immigrant in Britain. There are some things I regret not learning before coming to the UK. Please, if you want to come and live in the UK, know how to DRIVE. Learn how to drive in Nigeria before travelling to the UK, USA or Canada. Also, it would be good if you are good with your hands. Acquire technical skills like Brick Laying, Welding or Rewiring. These skills will come in handy when you are here. If you can drive, you will be amazed at the kind of things you can do to earn money in the UK.

I love Nigeria a lot. However, I want to achieve some things here. London is not the only city in the UK. Move to a city where you can get cheaper housing. It will be hard at first to get jobs, but it pays in the long run. And please learn to drive as quickly as possible. Sell things online to augment your wages or open a business. I am interested in linking up with Nigerians in Birmingham and the West Midlands. Lets explore the opportunities of this place together. Email me at: tolukandi@yahoo.com Cheers.
RomanceRe: What Are The Reasons For High Level Of 30 Years+ Single Ladies In Nigeria? by Redman44(m): 10:03am On Mar 02, 2013
There are many 30+ single Nigerian ladies in the UK too cool coolI just feel many Nigerian ladies have issues that cause them to remain single at 30 years old. The main cause of this problem is our ladies expecting too much from guys. Many of them are not willing to build wealth from the ground up with their men. Materialism is destroying many Nigerian women. Another factor is that good and responsible men are hard to find nowadays. Nigerian men should also share the blame for using women as they like. However, Nigerian ladies should strive to be morally upright and focused concerned their life and goals. A good lady will find a man that will take care of her if she is also prayerful. Cheers.

Crush remains the best orange drink in Nigerian history. It was killed of by a conspiracy act sad sad sad sad. 7UP sold crush to Nigerian Breweries in the mid 90's and the brand simply died off. CRUSH was the king of fizzy drinks in the early 80's to early 90's. I miss CRUSH cry cry cry cry cry cry.
BusinessRe: Are more British-born Nigerians moving back to Nigeria ? by Redman44(m): 4:40pm On Feb 19, 2013
Many Nigerians won't return home from the UK because of the fear of being tagged failures by a good number of Nigerians ( In Nigeria ) who are very materialistic in their thinking and lifestyle. People feel you're successful once you can build one or two houses in Nigeria before returning home. These people who would tag you as a failure are the same set of people who have benefited from the money you sent home over the years, before you decided to return to Nigeria. Many Nigerians have a warped mentality shocked shocked shocked. Instead of them to reason with you and assist you to get your business idea running in Nigeria, most them will be laughing at you, backbiting about your 'failure' or will even try to cheat you out of your hard earned money. How many Nigerians in Nigerians are really living a better life than those in the UK? It is in Nigeria that you see people driving jeeps and yet they don't have up to 20,000 Naira in their bank account. Why is it so hard for people to live simply and within their means in Nigeria? This is why Nigerians in the UK secretly enter Nigeria and return to Britain secretly these days because of the materialistic tendencies and unrealistic expectations of many Nigerians in our dear country.

How much money is being sent to Nigerians in the UK, compared to the hard currency that is being sent to Nigeria by UK based Nigerians? I was with a money transfer agent in London recently and I was amazed at the number of people that sent money to Nigeria with an hour that I spent at the store sad sad sad And that is just an outlet of the Money Transfer company. People choose to live in the UK, USA or Canada for different reasons. How many people actually pay PHCN or Water bills in Nigeria? Before you call someone who has returned from the UK a failure, please consider the bills he has to pay to live a good life in Britain. And the good thing is that with all the stress in the UK, I know Nigerians who still return home and perform better than their colleagues who stayed back in Nigeria. There is still an untapped market in the UK, USA and Canada and even in Europe. The Market of the Black African, Caribbean, Black British, African American and Mixed Raced people. Smart Entrepreneurs should start thinking deeply about catering to this MARKET. Stay Blessed.
BusinessRe: Are more British-born Nigerians moving back to Nigeria ? by Redman44(m): 3:45pm On Feb 19, 2013
How many British-born Nigerians are actually moving back to Nigeria? We need facts and hard figures on this forum. The post only talked about 4 people who decided to go and try their luck in Nigeria. And from what I grasped from the stroy, the four of them still want to come and spend their summers in the UK cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy. I know 2 brothers who were born in the UK and attended the same Secondary school in Nigeria with me. They moved to the UK in the late 90's while I moved to Britain in 2007. One of them is back in Nigeria and has been staying there for close to 2 years now. What I am trying to say is British-born Nigerians know they have the freedom of movement due to their British Passports. A good number of them also hold Nigerian Passports, which they use to travel back to Nigeria without the need to apply for visas. We can't compare them to Nigerians in the UK who are Students, Work Permit holders, overstayers or downright illegal immigrants. These are the set of Nigerians who remain in Britain because they want to achieve something before returning home.

And what is there to really return to in Nigeria? How many people in Nigeria can look at you and give you common 5,000 Naira without getting something back from you? Some people talk about Nigeria as if it has the same economy like Germany or Canada. Nigeria cannot even compare with the UK even in its worst state. Many so called big guys in Nigeria are pretenders. People will do anything to look 'successful' in Nigeria. In the UK, no one really cares what you are putting on because anyone can get good clothing if they can get a job that guarantees them at least £200 a week. The UK is not a perfect place but if you're ready to work, you will get a job even if it is not the kind of job you want. I was surprised to discover that some councils in the UK e.g London Borough of Newham, provides free meals in schools for pupils and students who come from disadvantaged homes. How many Local or State Governments in Nigeria do this? Those that returned to Nigeria and got good jobs are in the minority. Our competitive nature as Nigerians is destroying our moral compass and is putting undue pressure on youths to do the wrong things in order to become wealthy. All of the 4 returnees in the story have UK Passports. What does that tell us sad sad sad sad? This means they can easily return to the UK if things do not work out for them in Nigeria. If they really want to maintain their stand that they love Nigeria, they should renounce their British Citizenship. Anyone can succeed in Britain. It is just a matter of patience and time. Cheers.

The career of this racist English woman is over smiley smiley smiley smileyShe is going to be relieved of her job by her employers who must have got bad press for her outburst. People will not want to associate with her as they will want to avoid being labelled as racists. This woman has just shot herself in the leg. She has dampened her chances of rising up the ladder in her career and she has destroyed her future prospects. I know she will be dealt with my the UK's legal system. I feel so sorry for her. Hmn.

SportsRe: Mikel & Ogude Are Suspended For The Ivory Coast Match? by Redman44(m): 12:19am On Feb 01, 2013
I have not really followed the progress of the Super Eagles in this particular edition of the African Nations Cup holding in South Africa. To me, the last Eagles Squad I fancied was the team that represented Nigeria at the 2002 Nations Cup. Nigeria does not have many dedicated players again. You can hardly count outstanding Nigerian players in Europe on your fingertips. Mikel Obi is not even playing to his full potential yet. What happened to players like John Owoeri, Onyekachi Apam, Chrisanthus Macaulay etc? Back in the late 80's and early 90's, the Nigerian Premier League produced a lot of gifted players that held their own against the Europe based professionals. I am talking of guys like Isaac Semitoje, Friday Elahor, Friday Ekpo, Yisa Shofoluwe, Benedict Idahor etc. The Nigerian League was very competitive back then. I just hope we will get past Ivory Coast in the Quarter Finals of the ongoing African Nations Cup. Cheers.
Nairaland GeneralRe: Some Fake Lifestyles You Find In Nigeria by Redman44(m): 7:38am On Jan 28, 2013
It all boils down to the poverty mentality that is carried by a large number of Nigerians. I don't really know what to say again huh huh huh huh Some Nigerians in the UK and the USA also live fake lifestyles, so this problem should not be limited to Nigeria alone. It seems we Nigerians as a people need a reorientation about the need to embrace good values and a right mentality. Poverty is a serious problem in Nigeria and that is why everybody wants to get rich by all means and prove to their neighbours that they are not suffering. I don't know how to pretend to people. I just try my best to live according to what I have. Nigerians really need to change their attitude to life. Our leaders are not even helping matters. I'm just pissed off.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Brentford Vs Chelsea - FA Cup (2 - 2) On 27th January 2013 by Redman44(m): 6:24am On Jan 28, 2013
I am really irritated with the way Chelsea FC is playing at the moment. I feel my club should be planning for next season. There is nothing much to fight for this season. Chelsea has won the FA Cup several times and the Europa Cup is not something that we should be excited about. Benitez should be released after the season and a new coach with a focus on development and a mentality of winning games should be brought in. I have Michael Laudrup in mind as the new Chelsea coach but I am not sure he would love to come to Stamford Bridge. Laudrup is a very good coach and we can see what he is doing at Swansea.

Roman Abramovich needs to allow his coaches have a long term plan of at least 3 years to rebuild the blues and challenge for new titles and trophies. Employing and discarding coaches like tissue paper is not the way out of the quagmire Chelsea FC has found itself now. A good advice is enough for the wise. Cheers.
CelebritiesRe: Genevieve Nnaji At The City People Awards 10yrs Ago (Pic) by Redman44(m): 6:12am On Jan 28, 2013
Things change, poster. So I am not surprised that Genevieve Nnaji has upped her ante. She has done well for herself over the years by featuring in movies and endorsing products in Nigeria. I am really proud of her as she is one of the best actresses in Africa right now. I only pray that she will settle down soon and raise a family with a loving husband. In Nigeria, women who stay single for long are not well regarded and they are always viewed suspiciously. Genevieve rocks though cool cool cool.
Music/RadioRe: P-Square: Kings Of Copy, Sampling And Overlifting by Redman44(m): 8:08am On Nov 25, 2012
There is nothing new under the sun. What matters is the presentation and new ideas that are added to an existing song or lyric. Most of the foreign artistes we admire in Nigeria also sample and copy from music of the 50's, 60's and 70's. What they do is that they infuse their own ideas, beats, Rap bars and choruses into the songs and pronto, we have a new song cool cool 8. Like I said earlier on, it is presentation that matters. Cheers.
RomanceRe: Ladies! Will You Date A Nice Guy? by Redman44(m): 9:02pm On Nov 21, 2012
You can say what you like about nice guys, but the truth is that many nice guys are accomplished people. They are often geeks or serious people who tend to become very successful in their fields and careers. You can't really compare nice guys and bad guys when it comes to intelligence and innovation. Many ladies don't really know what they want in life. I know what I want in life and I'm a nice guy. Being nice does not mean being stupid. Cheers.

Common gambling grin grin grin grin
I'm just laughing. Back in the 90's in Ijebu-Ode, Secondary schools were always at war with themselves. Dangerous weapons were freely used with guys being wounded and beaten into pulp by their rivals from other schools. I remember my last year in secondary school when I was writing my SSCE Exams. The Principal of my school had to call in soldiers to stand guard because some of my mates had threatened to beat some teachers after the last paper. The soldiers placed themselves strategically all around the school compound, and even up to Lagos Garage in their bid to stop the madness that had been planned. I'm talking about Moslem Comprehensive High School in 1995. Memories cool cool cool!!.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Major Differences Between An Entrepreneur And An Employee by Redman44(m): 7:23pm On Oct 14, 2012
I became an entrepreneur some months ago and I've discovered that being an entrepreneur takes a lot of focus and determination. I really want to succeed in my line of business, so I put in a lot of effort on a daily basis. Employees and Entrepreneurs need one another. An Entrepreneur cannot succeed without resourceful employees. One thing I have discovered is that the quality of Nigerian workers is very low. Graduates are not taking enough time to develop themselves skills wise before applying for jobs. So I keep making corrections and fine tuning the articles my employees submit on a daily basis. I manage a Media Company, so to speak. I am also working for other companies but I run my own company too. I am happy that at least I am helping the Nigerian economy by providing jobs for some people. Nigerians in diaspora need to embrace entrepreneurship because the environment they live in is conducive for business. They should start something no matter how small it is. Cheers.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: John Terry Retires From International Football by Redman44(m): 6:20am On Sep 24, 2012
John Terry's retirement from International Football makes me very happy. At least, he would be able to concentrate more on his duties as Captain of Chelsea FC. Chelsea FC is going to make history this season by defending the UEFA Champions League title and winning the Premiership at the same time. I can see the Chelsea Mafia's hand in the decision taken by John Terry. Terry knows England will not do well at International level for the next 10 years, so he has decided to focus more on his club duties. I know Terry has his own problems but I don't think he is a racist. Cheers.

She was the African Champion and Commonwealth Games Medalist though cool cool cool. Winning at the Olympics needs solid preparation and Mental Stability. Cheers.

This lady is still single today. 6 years down the line. I've moved on with my life and it is now that she wants to reconnect with me through Facebook. I was nothing to her before I left Nigeria for the UK. Was she really hearing from God back then shocked shocked shocked? Some Women and their Self-Centred behaviour.
