ProfCorruption:
So sad!

A small state with just eight local governments; population less than a million, and an unbelievable huge revenues. One would think Bayelsa would lead in everything that matters- school enrollment, affordable health care, social welfare for the vulnerable poor, modern infrastructure, qualitative education for Bayelsans. But here is a f$cktard (apologies to Sagamite) of a governor wasting an unbelievable amount of money on what should be Bayelsa's least priority.
So you folks can see why access to power is important for all. They have this and that resources but lack qualitative human capital which is far more important than all the money in the world. Ask Gowon. The marginalisation of minorities has been the greatest tragedy of our time. More Seriake Dickson's line up to take their turns until qualitative education and exposure works its way through. They will get there. Hopefully before the oil runs out. But the rest of Nigeria should just shut it. Their actions overtly and covertly over the decades have led to this famished man eating to death at an oasis of liberty.

At the least it is far better than violence. They will eventually get it right and might even emerge with stronger institution than those so called 'well run', paddy, paddy state governments. Political conflict remains the tonic of true democracies worldwide.

Please, I don't know why people like to major in minors instead of dwelling on the more complex issues.I hope to be a make-up Mom & I have no apology or regrets.
So women do not look beautiful to you. You must mention that in your consultancy oh.

i have followed your post today and you are correct. Dont feel the need to apologise for your opinion. The bitter truth people find hard to accept today is that the vast majority of successful women have been compromised either by the fierce and cruel nature of the business and corporate world which is controlled and dictated by men. Or worse they give into the sexual/loyalty demands of the men who have the means to better her prospects. This is a world wide phenomenon. Testosterone drives a man to risk and adventure so they survive the harsh realities of the business world. Women are estrogen driven and are not naturally equipped to compete in a level-playing platform with men in the brutality of business and corporate world.

We understand there are a lot of male apologists nowadays who will hurry to needlessly defend the feminine course to appear heroic and brave thereby throwing wisdom aside. But the truth is most husbands of these "successful" women have learnt to "enjoy" the money as a soft, soothing balm to their loss of true feminine wife or have lived the miserable lives of men whose loyalty their wives have given away to their business colleagues, bosses and corporate god-fathers
So success can only be found in the business and corporate world. Hmmm....na wa....

You can say that again. Most of the people who call me for one issue or another are ladies. Health issues, relationship, job, religion, current affairs even during job interviews and examinations. I do my bit for them and most of them do appreciate both in the short and long run... Send me your acct details, I wanna spoil you a little, I want to appreciate you etc. The womenfolk are not bad afterall.
These are not successful people, women.
Family › Re: Successful Women Have Plenty Men In Their Lives by Reference(m): 8:32am On Oct 09, 2014
No. This is not a fact. Though successful people will tend to have more than an average number of people around them I think the opposite is the case. They need these women more than the women need them.

There is a general misconception out there. That when some one gives or offers some good or service to another that the giver is somehow 'better placed' than the receiver. The truth is successful people will ultimately be net receivers after they make that 'fundamental sacrifice' on the road to success.

Can't see any make up on the first baby undecided undecided...
Na person wear em pikin this kind wig?? grin grin grin

That aside, I can't use make up on my babies. ..Babies are naturally beautiful kiss kiss
But as they transition into girls, then 'ladies', then women they grow uglier? and require 'amendment'?, 'augmentation'?....tell me.

Thank God as a man I don't think I have to...and so I can't expect anyone to. Beauty or ugliness has a deeper sense to it and how it jumps from the mind to the body baffles me. To start creating a sense of inadequacy in a child's mind is abuse and criminal. Those having children are obliged to delivering them into adulthood with a blank slate with nothing but positive virtues of love, sacrifice, hope, peace and a 'can do spirit' not shoddy traits of survival in your rat race. When women in particular complain in later life of female marginalisation, what they try to get out of is the mental block preset by acts like these, the feeling of 'inadequacy', the need to physically 'appeal'. Then they say...'he has no respect for my abilities, he only sees me as a...object. It starts here.

Anyone who God calls personally and walks by faith long enough will end up exceedingly rich. We Christians are descendants of Abraham. Abraham's seed so we are heirs to the blessing through Jesus as contained in Deuteronomy 12:1-3+. It is so simple.

But if you choose to look at man in envy and jealous rage then you end up as Lot did. Na you sabi. They are blessed. Simple. I know it. I have experienced it. I walk in it and any time God sends me to give to any, I will...because that's how mine comes.

What is this rubbish. I mean what is this. What is the meaning of 'hackers' and 'haters'. Is there any website that isn't hacked or hated by one person or group out there. Then you posted a picture of her in front of her automobile (typically Nigerian - because you see too much poverty around you). What next....wax an album telling us how you rose from rags to riches and 'haters' should leave you alone...like we hear these days. Just pathetic.

Everyone has challenges. This site was hacked and this forum disrupted. Abeg repair the damage and move on like everyone else. You're there to offer a service. No one is interested in how many hoops you skip.
Family › Re: What Number Of Children Is Advisable For Average Nigerian Couples by Reference(m): 3:13pm On Oct 08, 2014
It is not a matter of the economy of the individual but the economy of the society that determines how many eggs we should lay so we should not become selfish about things because no matter how rich a man is I believe no man is a net positive contributor to society and the environment. Everybody degrades it and the more the people the more the problems. A rich man with several wives and children may slow the decay but he cannot pay for everything.

In Nigeria with a poor economy the situation is even worse. In my opinion the average couple should have no more than two kids. The rich 5%, 3 kids, the poor 60 or so % just 1 child till our economy significantly improves.

We need to check your nationality and deport you to the country you came from before you corrupt us. This is not in our culture. Our culture is of private jets without airports, limousines without roads, mansions without electricity and water supplied by mai ruwa and universities with professors of economics crying out for funding and striking for allocations. A nation where public service is so poor but on weekends the highways are clogged with 'official' cars, vans and trucks conveying yams, plantain and onions to the village for births, weddings and deaths at huge tax payers expense. Where the offices of government are run down, broken doors, leaky faucets and shabby treatment while the carparks are lined with exotic vehicles and the canteen the only place to breathe through your nostrils.

This is a country of exceeding greed and self service. Madam, go back to yours please.

Nairaland General › Re: Hilarious Names Of Nollywood Movies by Reference(m): 6:52pm On Oct 03, 2014
The truth is that Nollywood meteoric rise from the late 80's coincided with declining standards in Nigeria across board - education, enlightenment, morals, industry and creativity. It came about as a result of the backlash to anything western as a result of the widening gap between Nigeria and the rest of the world. As we fell away we found succour in home grown entertainment. The worsening economy that has led to massive rural - urban drift has further boosted sales with a lot of patrons unable to recognize the need for excellence in creativity.

But this will not go on in perpetuity. Even Bollywood is evolving. Nollywood must evolve also or risk it all.

Erotex: For those who are criticizing Nollywood
Take a look at Bollywood
Where robbers sing and dance before attack

Be satisfied with what you have
No one gonna love you, if u fail to love yourself
Appreciate your country efforts
No sir, we cannot be satisfied with what they are churning out until quality comes through. Nollywood should take the criticism in good faith and improve before their audience begin to vote with their feet. They are lucky Nigeria has a very small middle class. Once our economy takes off and more people are educated and exposed to foreign standards, the industry will crumble.

Many people ask me this question when I deride Nollywood. Honestly I love to support the performing arts industry as a great economic tool but we have got to seperate the industry from the operators and give these ignorant, uncultured, money minded charlatans a hard knock. Creative arts is open to criticism and Nollywood must ride it like a surfer to ever improve their acts.

For me. Indoors, office work, cool air, formal wear naturally goes with briefs. Outdoors, field work or play, hot, sweaty day, jeans or camo....boxers of course or you end up with a nasty rash.

What about tights. No one is making a case for them. They can hold an anaconda in place without the panty line but the heat in there will melt solid steel.

That's even the reason why the scrotum is outside the body to prevent the excessive body from damaging the spermatogonia and spermatocytes.

There is no such fact. And men wear briefs not panties.

The mere fact that practically all those songs were released within the past decade says it just cannot be. Is there excellence in any human endeavour in any country involving any peoples that can be as limiting as this. I don't know who is responsible and what criteria was used but this is rather belittling of the music industry and the country as a whole. Nigerian music just did not start in 2002.

Romance › Re: Does Love After Marriage Really Works? by Reference(m): 6:11pm On Oct 02, 2014
Yes, because there cannot be love before marraige. You cannot love whom you donot know. Love is the product of relationship not the other way round. As a couple goes along in marraige the seed of love is planted and grows. That's why elderly widows and spinsters are very vulnerable and often experience profound physiological and psychological challenges after the death of their partner. That's true love. What you have before a typical marraige is infatuation or lust or hope. No more. And like an early morning mist the reality of marraige clears that away very quickly for the real love to take root most often after the seed dies (misunderstanding, conflict out if greed, selfishness, etc). It is the heat of the day that brings the real showers of love in the evenings to cool the twilight of your lives in old age. Life is beautiful. Learn to love. True love is good.
