Now you know what happens to your car at a mechanics workshop.

By the way how am I suppose to wash the new to me car?

You get any better way?
That's why I don't go there anymore. Every repair must happen in my premises so that parts are really changed, bugs are not planted and of course no humping in the backseat.

That's after curious coincidences. The passenger seat was always dropped further back than normal. Very suspicious.

There are things one cannot just explain. But as long as we live on this earth we are just at the mercy of the Lord and need His grace to live day by day.

Well indeed, to live is Christ, to die is gain. No more troubles for him. RIP great man and servant of the Most High.

bros,I am always scared at the level of hate people exhibit along party lines in nigeria And , this hates be clouds these set of people sense of reasoning and thinking. Firstly,I think there are 2 flour mills along that particular lagos ibadan expressway and even if it is just one it is just a matter of telling the guy to verify. Secondly, the guy was making a point which many didn't notice but which is right and that is this edible oil factory project was started during the time of akala and not during ajimobi time.if the project is now completed and comissioned by ajimobi then no problem. This is the reason why there should be continuity in governance,so that project won't be abandoned before completion ,it is most likely if this project was a state government sponsored one maybe the apc govt in the state would have stopped it just like it did to the abator at oyo ibadan expressway. But we have to know that this project is for good of everyone in the state ,whether you are pdp or apc .this is a private project that will boost the economy of the state. If akala initiated and started a project ,and ajimobi completes it, then no problem as long as the project is completed and not abandoned due to party differences
You're absolutely right. I find great value in competitive, liberal politics but with the way some folks are going, stoking the embers of political feuding I fear the first casualty with be government as a continum and we will all suffer for it. The next government if in opposition will simply bury projects it cannot get credit for either as initiator or executor. We are not very wise when it comes to drawing the line between politics and governance.

Interesting.
Now i understand... Anyone that is poor isnt a TRUE believer.
Im learning things...
He is technically right but from where you stand I understand your doubts. In the Kingdom things work by faith. They are established before they are seen, felt, smelt, heard or tasted. When a man becomes born again he is a new creature. His status is changed by the Word to reflect God which means he is no longer poor. In him are deposited amongst other things the 'seeds' of wealth and abundance'. Now he has to take time to cultivate these seeds to maturity. Physical manifestations always lag behind spiritual facts. So when you are saved it takes time for certain vices to wear down but over time you become perfect.

It is a good thing because conversely when we sin and spiritually die thank God that physical and emotional reaction is not swift but we have time to recover our conscience and return to God.

There are no poor children of God but lots of spiritual babies who have not carried their faith and commitment far enough to secure a physical manifestation.

So what do you want them to be, lawyers, auto mechanics or football administrators. The promise of God as contained in the covenant is to bless (enable) a man's seed after him for generations to come so I expect even his grand kids to be pastors. Or have you planted pawpaw seeds and when you slice the fruit open you see fowl egg inside. Won't you see pawpaw seed inside. Abeg dis one no be argument. In christianity God's plans are ultra long term across generations not just what are we having for lunch tomorrow.

I respect Malala more as a girl crusading for children to go to school and that world leaders should assist than most Nigerian pastorpreneurs.
Oga. The Word of God is the hope of the poor man. Just lift your eyes to God. 'I have come that they have life and life in abundance'. There is no father on earth who can afford food and watch his children starve thoughtless of your Creator. If God can feed the animals in the forest how much more man that has a soul and a mouth to smile and say thank you God. Poverty was not made by God or the church but man wandered away from God's sufficiency to fend for himself as a sheep in a land of wild beasts. Return to God and see how He cares for His children.

Must everything be viewed through the Nigerian lens. Most modern ministries have international mandates. The school I'm sure is to serve his congregation there. Or do you wish they send their kids to Nigeria in the morning and pick them up at the airport after lunch time school close.

For those who criticise his wealth viz the poor I will dare say this. Criticise Bill Gates, Carlos Slim, Aliko Dangote, Lionel Messi, Peter and Paul Okoye because their wealth came out of 'the poor' is it....yes and no.

Yes, poor people buy their wares but their wealth comes from the rich not the poor. To be candid, it is the wealth of 'experience' created by their products that brings out great financial reward. For example Microsoft made many companies and individuals around the world more productive and thus wealthy. They in turn made Bill Gates. It is exactly the same with faith matters. The poor do give but the wealth you see really comes from people who's faith has been enhanced thus their financial status. It works exactly the same. Wealth will always move from a position of lower value to that of higher value. The bible says the poor will always be around. They will always play their part.

If someone has something I find valuable money will obviously flow from me to him irrespective of our status. Why in the world should anyone be angry or envious about this.

Can Anyone please Tell me The Reward of A Born again Christianhuh Is it to be wealthy on Earth or To Make Heaven......
Both. The full gospel makes it clear. 'brethren, I wish.... that thou prosper and be in health even as thy soul prospers'. Practically speaking Abraham was acknowledged to be in the bosom of God. Before he died Abraham was exceedingly rich materially. Read Genesis 12 forward. The key here is not to let material stuff master and rule you. God tested Abraham and found he was willing to let go. That is the right attitude. Our wealth is meant to serve the needs, to bless others.

But take this from me today. If you 'walk' with God you will become extremely rich whether you like it or not. The problem is always us, our mentality, our reliability, our objectivity. God gives abundantly. I am a witness. I hardly preach, I am not a pastor. I just do what he says and he blesses me. So its not a matter of one person scamming the other. Most of what I have I never ask for and I don't buy much but I just get a lot of stuff....and I'm not that friendly either. God is real.

This is the most sensible comment I've seen so far.
No one is even saying anything about d girl that was abused in front of thousands, instead they are all throwing verbal missiles and baring their ignorance. Smh for we blacks.

Even d topic of d thread is very misleading and d gullible brain-washed ones are here defending d pastor and raining abuses on BBC. The OP just used a catchy headline (purposely or out of ignorance) to attract readers and those who cannot read btw d lines are exposing their level of dumbfuckery.

U gullible nigerians need to understand that d mentality of d average westerner is far different from that of a nigerian. U don't just physically abuse a vulnerable girl in front of thousands. They don't take that kinda bullshittt. Westerners are far more intellectually enlightened than many mentally enslaved brainless nigerians who cannot think for themselves. The UK frowns on a church that espouses belief in witchcraft as one of its basic tenets; not just mere belief but carrying out actions that are contrary to reason, human conscience and d legal system.

A lot of d inhumane treatment we mete out to people all in d name of "witchcraft suspicion" can only happen here because of our low mentality.

Here in Nigeria (and other low-mentality african countries), people can be brutalized, beaten to death or even burnt alive because some imbeciles think they're witches/wizards. Wtf!
Here in Nigeria, u'll see some kids being starved or detained in churches, whipped and harassed until they confess to being witches. If a family brings a child (to be used as househelps of course) from d village to town and anything dares go wrong in d family, aha! Na winch oooooo!
If an old woman looks at u in funny way, she's a witch. Here in naija, people will construct kiosks and call them churches. In one street alone u can see up to 20 churches all blaring unbearable noise from their giant speakers and when u complain of d noise, u're a witch or agent of satan. In a compound where u're not d only tenant, u'll host noisy casting n binding prayer sessions and if another tenant dares complain, na winch. Naija is a lawless entity with little regards for d social/physical/psychological welfare of its citizens and that's why all these nonsense can happen with no one giving a fuqq.

A western pastor/priest/man of God cannot try that nonsense that Oyedepo did. He did that because he has d mentality of a typical Nigerian. Some of u who support anything done by anyone who brands himself as a man of God need to realize that its d westerners that brought this same Christianity to us and they are not all immoral/irreligious atheists.
And what has happened to the church where HUNDREDS of sexual abuse cases involving minors lasting decades and only being revealed lately globally including by British based priests. Who is serving time. Which church has been penalised, barred or has its permit to run schools revoked. None. Why. Because it is the establishment church. This on the other hand is a foreign invader.

Full gospel pentecostalism does not sit with the topic of witchcraft. Certainly it is out there but what is being referred to here is scriptural. Disobedience 'is as' grave as the practice of witchcraft. Oyedepo did not write that. King James did.

Lmao...you actually think you're more "Christian" than a country that started Protestantism, which Pentecostalism branched out from. The same country that wrote the King James Version of the Bible, no?

Keep fooling yourself...these folks just see African pulpit pimps for the frauds they're. They know most of them, including the sheeple like you, don't understand the origins and the purpose of the religion. However, they will never let you flip it, and use it as a tool to steal from, or abuse folks out here. That is an unacceptable behaviour. Keep ya religion and chasing witchcraft (medieval tripe) in Africa.

They have already given you lot enough space to keep lying to yourselves in the naija community. What else do you want? Want to spread ya tentacles to schools no one asked for, or start competing with the Church of England?
The truth will always emerge. After all the rigmarole the last line says what its really all about. Fear of competition. Period. The Communist Party will do it in China, even the orthodox church in Russia. They attack the individual but what they really fear and target is the ideology, dynamic pentecostalism. It is a real and emerging threat globally to atheism and old order religious establishments.

That the church has gone materialistic isn't anything to debate.
However, this man understands the principles of wealth creation, far more than any preacher that I know. He understands the principles of giving, hard work and spirituality. He has greater faith than any preacher I have listened to or read about.

With respect to offerings and Tithes. He and his pastors deserve it from the membership. There is none of their branches where you wouldn't find full time pastors. They resume in their offices by 8:00am and close by 4:00pm and sometimes longer. Just the way you and I deserve our salaries by serving our employers, because the pastors fast for, pray for and teach their members, It is only right for the membership to minister to their own needs.

Also, there is NO one that will actually hear and practice what Oyedepo preaches that would be poor in any good thing. Take it from me, that man has good understanding of God.
Although poor understanding of his teachings make some of the membership go materialistic sometimes; I can't deny that Oyedepo teaches the truth.

I don't attend the church anymore because of proximity issues. He however, remains my best author. His faith in God's word dazzles me, his commitment and love for God cannot also be contested... It is only fitting that he becomes an envy of many.
This is simply the truth. He has made a number of mistakes which in his position carries a heavy toll but the principles are solid. Yes disobedience in christianity 'IS AS' bad as witchcraft. It is a pity that the Brits who gave us the language cannot negotiate mere similies. Two, the school like all schools he establishes is to cater primarily for his members and they are always given priority in admission.

Though I donot know his inards, I've heard he is a disciplinarian with somewhat of a quick temper. Most people who negotiate the Nigerianess in us from the bottom to the top will have this trait.

So I don't see what the establishment in the UK has except for the fear of pentecostalism in an increasingly atheist society.

But when one individual Nigerian does something bad and we are collectively tagged by foreigners you have a problem with that. What makes pastors or Bishops different except if you have something against christianity or certain faiths within it. One's inability to offer a consistent view of issues across board is merely deception.

Your presentation is frankly, below par. I do admit in certain professional circles this is not considered a hindrance but when you aspire to govern an office at a level higher than yours, you must equally raise your standards to meet its demands or you will repositioned. In engineering the rule is simple you look for the tool for the job and not look for the job for the tool you have.

You simply donot meet the criteria yet, for the position you think as they see it from their perspective. So raise your game.
