Food › Re: How To Cater To A Man Who Doesn't Eat Draw Soup. by Reference(m): 8:30am On Oct 01, 2014
kennygee: Why?
It sticks to the lining of my mouth and throat and feels like muck. And the mental image of any bio slime meaning 'gone bad', decaying. Its just too much. I have to shut down so many sensories to try it and not without lots of pepper, strong tea or caffeine to scour my tongue. I have serious issues with 'draw soup' unfortunately.

There are so many soups out there and you can cat. them into two. Those you can eat and those you can sip. The leafies and the veggies. Almost any edible leaf, fruit and vegetable can be made into soup.

You can start in many ways. Does he like sweet or sour, smooth or rough, stingy or bland, does he like them plain or traditionally complex, does he like colours. Start with the basics. You may just discover a new recipe that has never been done before. Goodluck.

Originally there were 32 cameras proposed for the staduim, but do you know that Amaju Pinnick, who is the cousin to Udaeghan's wife installed ONLY 8 (eight) camaras? I just phoned a friend in Warri about the election, he told me that Udaeghan was seriously campaigning. Delta money don finished again. No wonder that state, Delta is one of the most backward and corrupt states in Nigeria. tufiakwa

The Marriage which was contracted in November 2008 is whispered to have been hopping on one leg before finally crashing over five weeks ago.

A close friend of the actress squealed that the marriage broke down due to very strong allegations of 'serial cheating with evidence' but that the couple who are pretending to still be in talking terms might cite irreconcilable differences.

My source alleges that Phillips Ehiagwina demanded to have back the bride price he paid to marry Ini Edo and his wishes were granted by her people.

Ini Edo and Phillips got married in an American ceremony and the whispers also indicate that part of the union may have also been dissolved.

Efforts to contact Mr Ehiagwina to find out why he collected back the bride price he paid on our darling actress met a brick wall as his American and Nigerian phones were switched off.

There are also strong whispers that a group of ladies accosted actress Ini Edo recently and beat the living daylights out of her.The whisperers say that the reason is that ''One of the girls who is dating a Lekki big boy named Lewa alleges that Ini has been dating her boyfriend for the past 3 years and it was time to stop and face her marriage but unfortunately Ini's marriage was already over by the time they accosted her......''

Ini and Phillip have no child between them.

I wish them God's love as they move on with their lives and pray that they find love again.

It is well!

Yes I can guarantee God's love for all mankind but seriously what can be 'well' with people who live hanky panky lives. There is no secret formula. If you marry a public figure, you marry a very public figure. Your dirty linen will be hoisted like an olympic flag. Better run from them.

bushdoc9919: The basic problem is that there is no money for new salary increases, because there is no extra money for health care.

In 2012, GEJ and his Financial Crew wanted to remove fuel subsidy....because they knew that they needed extra cash for a lot of things. Nigerians said no...so fuel subsidy partially stayed.

The issue is, the Govt runs far too many hospitals. And most of the budget for these hospitals goes on maintenance costs/overheads. Leaving just enough to pay salaries.....and that's it.

Of course there is a solution....and it starts with fees in government hospital being raised, and funding for health being increased drastically. In the future....we need to get a universal national health insurance scheme. But the reality again is that we do not have enough oil money to fund all that....which is why Nigeria must industrialize, and aggressively attract foreign investors....so that we can have the heavy tax revenues needed to fund the health care sectors adequately.
Well said. At least someone is offering a lifeline to those crabs in a barrel.

I thought johesu have d patients/masses at heart? Now who is going to be called heartless?

All demands here are for johesu and its members... which one concerns the patient? Compare with NMA demands.

Anyway, we don't really need them in d hospital, let them not just lock up govt equipment and tools as they use to...they can go with their empty heads.

But if they lock up things and go, doctors will also not work o because d masses no like us and we won't kill ourselves for anybody henceforth.

Amazondepth: The weakness of d govt makes it so vulnerable to all these demands from uncountable unions. So d discontent now is for their members to b accorded every right and priviledge of a medical doctor because they all work within the same institutional framework?now u bring cleaners, pharmacists, attendants, nurses, morticians, lab scientist etc and u demand a platform of equality for all?even amongst d johesu members there exists so much divide that u easily will understand a few are using the advantage of their numbers to advance their selfish positions.if u want to get d respect, emolument, position, career progression of a doctor why not just save us all these and go and buy jamb form and b a medical doctor
I see. So it is the government that is now weak. If they refuse to play along and the strike continues you begin to sing another tune as to their insensitivity. Can you stand for one thing and face the problem squarely starting with who is the custodian of the medical profession in Nigeria, the government or the unions.

When concrete yields it is always with explosive force akin to a charge going off within its constituent. Perhaps this is what was observed. The enormous potential in the chemical process that binds the aggregates together into a powerful solid over several weeks and months is released in an instant. That kinetic energy must find expression and it is loud, hot and deadly. Buildings are not toys and kids should not handle them.

I think the best support you can give is not to raise money for him but to appeal to the party to reduce the amounts or waive them. And since the party is supposed to be democratic I hope they will listen.

Peradventure they insist on these measures as a fund raiser then tell them you will gladly donate to the party coffers so there is a level playing field for all aspirants and no one will be pressed to repay in a corrupt manner.

If the party doesn't listen to your cries it means their ideologies are different from yours and you have been misrepresenting them on this forum.

No sir. Even our military is split into Corps with distinct equipment. That is an infantry (trad. green berets) support vehicle. Tanks are the exclusive preserve of the armoured corps - what the Americans call the cavalry (trad. black berets) made famous by one of its sons - IBB. They have not been deployed in this conflict to the best of my knowlege.

Too many average players often demotivated by dismal one-dimensional tactics so easy to read as not admissible in a pre-nursery curriculum. That man has outlived his potentials at the Emirates. Wenger should just resign five years ago.

There are so many. My passion has been towards minaturizing of devices particularly mechanical ones. Electronics has done quiet well, mechanics not so. It appears Europeans who excel in the field of mechanics are not interested. Nano technology is also quite slow evolving.

Ironically what one can do in his spare time (if I will ever have that) is the exact opposite and it hits home. Power. I want to take the humble lead/acid battery and supersize it so that one unit, one charge can provide the needs of an entire building for considerably longer than the present inverter systems. The status quo: 12, 24, 48 volts only, why? 300AH max, why? The need for several units in series or parallel to meet requirements, why? Why not one single massive 300,000AH chasis in my basement churning out 120 volts so I can go 6 months without grid power on a single charge. Why not. Don't tell me its impossible.

How about plutonium to gas fueled cars that run for their service life without refuel. You buy a car and it comes with a sealed engine and no tank.

That's why they say for frequent flyers having a greater probability of getting involved, practice, practice, practice....so your brain doesn't 'format' or whatever you call it. The reason people yell for God is because that is all they practice. Not bad but faith without works is dead. So practice safety. Time and again.

Hmmm, maybe they are just ten but rise time and again like some apocalystic zombie bedtime storyline. Of course you don't understand what a politically driven, fundamentalist jihadi insurrection in a predominantly feudal society is all about. Well it goes like this. Starve the people of education for generations then infuse radical ideologies while undermining all facets of civil authority. Add billions in stolen funds to a hungry people without hope, independent thinking and respect for authority and your constituency will be in the hundreds of thousands in and around North East Nigeria including Niger, Chad and Cameroun. The potential pool 'inductees' could easily outnumber the entire armed forces ten to one. The government needs a counter insurgency strategy that goes beyond the military. It needs to de-escalate the situation. It needs to create a three legged stool of law and justice, religious de-radicalism and social development on which all parties sit to sort out this mess.

Sorry to burst your bubble but he's speaking about an overall attitude. Afterall how much is a stick of cigarette or a bottle of beer or a punt at the casino, but it is ruinous. This 'little' display is the tip of an enormous wasteful attitude pervading government agencies NDDC included. And except for morally bankrupt people it is just misplaced. This statement is highly callous, incitive and unfortunate. The government has every right to probe the accident, make its report public, strenghten the building regulatory institutions and punish every error. The church is law abiding and must be seen to uphold the highest ethical standards. God does not kill people. It is a cocktail of ignorance and greed that leads to this. I hope other churches and denominations learn from this, that though matters of God involve the heart, as long as we remain on earth it involves the head as well.
