But sincerely don't you feel an anti-african agenda. I mean all continental groupings are represented - south america, north america, europe, the middle-east and asia. How far could they have gone in investigating romance in Vietnam.

I know Nigerians won't come even close but say those little island countries like The Seychelles, or even the Senegalese. I understand they are cool cats.

CFCfan: @Orikinla: You are right; romance is all about appreciation. However, a typical Nigerian couple that lives in "face-me-I-face-you" type of apartment may not have the time to take his/her partner out for a romantic dinner.
Now you're introducing materialism into it, the killer of all things.

ECN - Electricity Come Never
NEPA - Never Expect Power Always
PHCN - Please Hold Candle Now
And now I see Distribution Companies being called 'DISCO' any wonder the power situation in the country is like 'Disco' lights.... going off and on!
Ha, ha, ha. One for my nightcap.
^^^Precisely! These northern ruling elite (core northern/moslem mainly) only think of 'being the gentleman' and 'honoring agreements' when the shoe's on the other foot; besides Aburi and June 12, i can think of so many other instances when they've royally shafted others, and not done things in the spirit of equity, fairness and keeping to ones word- like the distribution of oyel wells since the 70's; and mouthing off mere empty slogans after the civil war of 'no victor, no vanquished' only to then proceed to systematically underdevelop and marginalise the south east in all respects (political/economic/social).

Any dubious agreements these 'owners of Nigeria' may have signed in some dingy dark room with GEJ is not worth the paper it's written on, and is unconstitutional insofar as Nigerians (with whom sovereignty lies) were not aware of or approved it.....so it's not binding on GEJ, and that's where the argument should end.

These people have got some nerve, walahi!
What can I say, totally agree. It goes beyond Jonathan and 2015.

Gone through the whole thing. Good work surveyPROF. What negatively distinguishes us is the absolute lack of will to go after criminality even though we complain bitterly so I commend all those involved in taking this hardened criminal down.

As for the web and this forum in particular I have never offered nor solicited goods or services. I just can't bring myself round to do it for this very reason. For those who expect from and depend on this forum for business I preach extreme caution.

To the moderators I suggest all cases of fraud be mandatory homepage topics as soon as confirmed and I suggest Seun mandates those who conduct business here to a greater degree, level 2 disclosure to include full and valid identity documents to which they are categorised according to transaction value and any advert not authorised by a member tag be removed by the mods with a ban for repeated offenders.

We cannot have the same level of identity protection of one discussing 'where did you spend your valentine' with another selling a house in Maitama for 1 billion or a 20million naira SUV from Patagonia.

Celebrities › Re: An Interview With Andrew Harvey , Goldie's Husband by Reference(m): 1:56pm On Feb 16, 2013
elampiro: This is the question.

I just spoke with one of the female housemates who participated in last years big brother. She said Goldie was deeply in love with Prezzo and that she wasn't gaming about it. She also said she met her after the big brother house, and she knows what Goldie told her. When I asked her about Mr Harvey, she said she doesn't know the status of that marriage, that is, whether they were divorced.

We will get to know more soon.
From this it is evident that the three 'actors' in the 'show' were not reading the same script. They each thought they were on top of the situation.

That is where the problem lies. Make-belief or 'reality' telly. Was Harvey sure which he was watching and how did he respond.

The rush to post pics, grant interviews and suddenly explode the once secretive relationship says what. Was she in a man management crises. Did someone take it badly. Just thinking.

Never underestimate the powers of passion or think you have the other person figured out.

Reality shows are not usually as you see. The management of the shows always hype things up to keep you interested but during and then after the show.
Rest in peace Goldie embarassed. God console Mr. Harvey.
This brings to the fore the dark underbelly of the entertainment industry and how 'make-belief' can rapidly spiral out of control and consume the foundations itself. That's why I choose to look on from afar. I'm not impressed with whoever organised and maintained this charade of lies, deceit and debauchery.

dilla: i pray Nigerians will also see the wisdom in what these two great men are trying to do. unless power is seized from PDP this country will continue on the path of corruption thieves of 23billion will continue to get 750k fine and we and our children will be enslaved in our land by PDP. please let them not bring religion and deceive us. i am a christian but respect the leadership in Buhari and Tinibu. God bless Nigeria 2015 is just like tomorrow for those that are alife.
But I advise you to temper your expetations. If elected don't expect corruption to vanish overnight. As a matter of fact it is less of what APC does in power but what the PDP does out of power (in opposition) that will determine our progress.

If the PDP loses the general elections and subsequently crumbles into obscurity chances are that quite a number of elements will infiltrate the APC and damage it.

That's why I'm never for extremes, whether people or parties. Too much power or too much compromise is a bad thing.

miiraaj: If not Buhari, who can flush corruption out of Nigeria's system?
Told you guys a while ago that Buhari cannot fight corruption. That in a democracy it is Nigerians who when ready will end it. Democracy is simply a game of numbers. It has no heros. For a government to end corruption it has to engage with corrupt elements and work out a compromise while the opposition keeps everyone in check.
SHUT THE F*CK UP MAN WORSHIPPING SLAVE!

GO WORSHIP YOUR ISRAELI MAN-GOD! THERE IS NO PROOF EVEN OF HIS EXISTENCE! DUMBARSE TRINITY! I SPIT AT YOUR ISRAELI GOD!

IF JESUS IS A GOD, THEN WHY DID PEOPLE EXIST BEFORE HIM?! angry
No sir. You could not possibly exist before what created you. Jesus is just a Hebrew name given to the Word of God when it was born (entered this world) just as you will name your new-born child. It stuck since then. He is simply the Word taking the personality of man, hitherto we couldn't relate with God, we couldn't understand so God moved closer into our realm. It is the same Word that created existence that became like a man so we could understand clearly what God is saying.
NO NEVER! ask any Pagan and he/she will tell you that we worship the Gods/Spirits and not the idols. the idols are just made of rock, wood,or stone. The idol is are religious device (just like an ritual object) that helps us to concentrate our prayers on it.

and dont talk bulsh!T. we dont worship high priests. lol.

however you xtians outrightly worhsip jesus as your God and you say jesus is the son of God. how can a man be a son of God? if so then we are all sons of Gods and you should worship us too.

we dedicate our idols to the SPiritual Forces, i.e., the GODS , while you dedicate your idols to MAN .
Jesus is God. When the word 'son' is used it meant to portray 'off-spring', 'seed', 'product', 'likeness', 'representation', 'authority', 'will', 'way', 'works'. There is no better way to encapsulate these virtues than to use the word son.

For instance Rev. Kings church is a reflection of himself, his authority, his way, his will, etc. It has taken a life of its own but it is his seed, his son, it looks exactly like him.

So when people say Christians worship 3 gods, that is wrong. There is only 1 God. He is a Spirit (like we all are), His Name is Jehovah (if you wish to give him a name you call Him Father). He created existence by His Word, named the Word Jesus (because we like names) and Christ (which simply means savior) to rescue us from the mess we are in today.

His Word, His Way and His Will are Him.
Lmao these people have been brainwashed
I often see the word 'brain washed' being used particularly in reference to certain church groups and I wish to clarify one thing.

The entire basis of christianity is a 'brain wash'. You cannot be a christian without having your thinking re-engineered. That is what every teaching is meant to do. Whether out of the bible, by books, tapes or by voice (in service). Essentially if you go into contact and come out thinking the same, you have not changed.

That's why church groups which make the most impact are skilled at attraction and retention. And it is entirely scriptural. I mean the devil in the beginning altered man's thought pattern and here we are today.

Tgirl4real: Call it a resaerch...

I see several people around me stay in marriage for different reasons other than cos they love their spouses.

Some stay cos of their personal resolve.

Some stay cos of the society - church influence, economic situation and all

Some cos of their family

Some cos of the kids.

Lastly, (with the smallest percentage) some stay cos they love their spouses.

From my observation, those that have stayed for reasons other than their personal resolve and the love of their spouses end up breaking up at a later year. So, it brings me to conclude that if all these external influences - societal pressure, family, church influence, kids and all are removed, most marriages would not last till their 3 anniversary.
My dear, the relationship called marraige is not fundamentally different from all other types of relationship. Take the ones at work.

We may say, oh I love my job. I have great colleagues, a caring boss bla, bla, bla, but deep within us or after a while we come to accept that we are in it just for the money or perhaps, 'heck at my age I should be working, I should be independent'.

What I'm saying is that it is important or just as important to have a relationship that you can grow to love than to have one you love to grow. I personally donot see anything wrong in people hanging around each other on the basis of other interests.

Just like church. Not every one who hangs church loves God but its better to. On then do you stand a chance of discover. Hang in there. Caveat: Except there is unsurmountable danger to your person.

I can't see any report of interception.
Those injuries will have been caused by the fragments of the shattered comet which still carry high inertia. Even if the comet was shattered to sand granules, a grain of sand moving at 17,00
kmph can still cut through you.

Force = mass x acceleration. Since you cannot slow it down your best chance of survival will be to alter the mass or should I say spread the mass.

stankezzy: why are u that backward,if isrealis can intercept thousands of missiles within small notice, why cant russia intercept this one they have been monitoring for long with known direction nd speed.
My brother. I don't know if this is a problem of semantics or physics. Intercept simply means to cross with the aim of stopping. It doesn't necessarily mean chase. Infact if it is coming towards you it becomes very simple. Thus a tortoise can intercept a speedy okada if it knows exactly where it is heading and how fast it is moving. All the tortoise needs to do is to start moving years before.

And for a 50m asteroid, a two-ton TNT warhead will scatter that thoughtless of a hydrogen or nuclear warhead.

LushGreenz: YOU READ MY MIND....

Sometimes Givers put receivers in trouble. As much as it is just right to give so much to Keshi. You make his assistants look worthless, and thus will naturally envy him sort of. It will of course take only a God-fearing man not to envy Keshi with so much (deservedly) given to him,and so little reckoning and or "gifts" given to them...especially Daniel Amokachi whom I understand to have been his Opposition-Analyst at the tournament. If you must give so much to Keshi,do so in private and then give modestly and in fairness to everybody else that they might see.... Don't make a "Judas" of your good disciple, they will turn around and go bad!!!
They are not kids. I'm sure they must have factored this into their thinking when signing on as assistants - smaller recognition and rewards, conversely if it had all gone horribly wrong who will have carried the heavier vitriol - Keshi of course. It is then you'd have heard of how Amokachi's valuable advice was disregarded.

Anyway you'd be hard pressed to name Alex Ferguson's assistants, Jose Mourinho's, and if not for Pep Guardiola's exit who ever heard of Tito Vilanova.

Now if Amokachi can't wait like Tito for his turn to glory, too bad.
