damola1: It's very easy to make laws. But how those laws affect one person is how a great leader is been rated. That is exactly what av been stressing for eons. Any power that cannot be controlled will end up an accident. It is not about strong men or alphabet soup. It is the people that make for good governance. It is the people that will build enduring institutions. It is the people that will end corruption and tyranny. When they will of course. |
And to think this was the team that won the treble including the UCL just a few seasons ago beating Barca and Bayern along the way. These are real hard times for Inter. I guess a season is an eternity in football. |
fonssy: Continue to assist her untill she finds another man to marry. Please don't marry her.Continue to assist what. This is a man dialling 999 that his life is about to go under and you advice him to stay the course until goat leave cassava for kebabs. Okay continue assisting. There will be plenty story for Seun in 2013. |
Sir. You are in terminal danger of a ruined life. I don't subscribe to what others are saying, 'continue to care'. That will surely lead you to adultery and a broken home. I suggest you develop a road map for her independent financial sustenance and then cut off completely. Sorry for sounding so harsh. My advice will have been warmer if you didn't have one leg in quick sand. |
Solozzo: So tragic a death! So its the babe you will kill and leave the man. Be honest oh. |
frosbel: the funny thing is we all rejoice when these small hungry fly are caught , when the real king pins and culprits are laughing their way to the bank. The 'big fish' has lost a kilo of coke and will be laughing to the bank? I think not. I hope they don't put out a contract on him for 'spilling the goods'. |
My own question is how United with an away goal, playing at home and going up via an imploding opposition defence in the second half still couldn't close out the match Nani or no Nani. |
Saintp: This is why i'm begining to hate the game and will soon move to other sports. Everything and everybody involved in football are all liars, cheats and hyprocrites. The players, coaches, refs, fans etc. When it happens 2 ur team, ur analysis becomes different, people who supported or didnt support this red card will change their views if it were the other way round. Look at Fergie screaming blue murder, will he have done the same thing if it was the other way round? He would have said its part of the game or even said its a red and justify it. Look at Murinho trying to justify it, its d same morinho dat scream blue murder when he looses one man against Barca whether deserved or undeserved.Bruv. You've said it all except the drop the game thingy. That's why I love soccer. It is the most accurate replica of humanity. You just cannot but express all your emotions if you care about the game and it treats everyone equally. That's why to stay above the emotion just love the game and like me have no favourites. I quit fanhood years ago and I tell you nothing beats it. Don't be surprised Madrid gets ejected next round to something worse. |
Demdem: I think its justified. Just like keane said, dangerous plays aren't meant on the field. That was a dangerous play from Nani and its straight red. Whether he sees arbeloa or nor or its intentional or nor its immaterial. Dangerous players aren't meant on the field of play.Hmm. Yeah. Can you imagine. Thought nannies were loving and caring especially to wee little kids. Bad, bad nanny. |
nastydamus: Johnny Evans did same against Drogba but got away with it, thanks to the English ref officiating on the day.Arbeloa no be poor lad oh. Na danger to society as well. If na Pepe dem kick like dat the lefree no go even look am. |
Let by gone be by gone, red card or not a good team can still win with ten men. Chelsea did it against Barcelona in thesame champions league. Better luck next time to Man U.
|
Let by gone be by gone, red card or not a good team can still win with ten men. Chelsea did it against Barcelona in thesame champions league. Better luck next time to Man U.
Yes, I thinkthis should be the question. Whether the red card changed the outcome of the match because when you consider the UCL over the last few years the knock out rounds always seem to produce these controversial card moments. That's where the term 'uefalona' was coined. Of course it did not deter fantastic teams like Internazionale Milano back then. If United were fantastic and 'destined' to win the cup they could still have triumphed afterall they had all the aces., an away goal, playing at home, a gifted home goal and of course a jaded CR7. With all these incentives and still blew it, haba. |
all4naija: Even at the argument of making US looks devilish, it is still Venezuela largest trade partner. That says a lot about Hugo Chavez. That country is poor, though, surrounded by huge amount of wealth. Most south american countries are resource rich. Brazil produces as much oil. Why is the US not pounding them into the ground as many perceive. His was the classic case of the modern dictator who raises false flags, perceived enemies so as to whip up nationalistic sentiments and while he feeds the masses with the crumbs of sequestred national resources breeds a contingent of fat cats to keep him in power perpetually. He was dying of cancer and knew it. Why didn't he relinquish power if not for skeletons. No, he loved his people to death. Haba. |
Drove Venezuela to the brink of bankruptcy with his marxist socialist whatever. Now Venezuela has a chance to move forward, open up to competition and work hard at generating real wealth rather than all these resource patronage that breeds indolence and of course rent seekers (sorry SLS for the plag.) |
I wouldn't be surprised if that referee is found Dead tomorrow!!! ![]() Any which way MAN UTD all the way! I hope REAL wins UEFA(cus I hate barca)
Hmm. Take it easy. Just a game. |
CFCfan: But Nani was looking at the ball; he didn't intentionally want to hit the player. Why is the UCL always so controversial. |
enigmagu1: I use all the gsm netwrks bt...bt airtel is d worst...tnx..Three weeks ago I was at a location where only Airtel works. Will I say that makes them the best. |
NOIBMUUL: I might be wrong and this might be my biased opinion but Airtel is the best telecommunication network in Nigeria.I always tell you people. Office people should not pass judgement on such matters. If you want to know what network is the best ask outside people. Field professionals, long distance traders, pilots, etc. I am a field professional and I have all the lines. None is better or worse than the other. Take it from me. They have all reached an equilibrium. |
Orikinla: Yes.Well different strokes. 95% of my calls are business related calls. If I call your line and your wife answers how can I possibly take you seriously. Even if she is your business partner. |
I for 1 won't pick her calls. But I am not really ready to start hearing stuffs or asking questions dt will kill me b4 my time. Its better I don't no, but I always believe deres a day of judgement for all cheaters
Don't wait for judgement to fall on your partner cos it might consume you and all the labour of your years. It is good and proper to check on your partner's phone from time to time (don't get paranoid about it) to ensure your relationship isn't misaligning. It is called responsibility and its your duty. It may not be a case of unfaithfulness. You may spot signs of financial stress or worse discover physical threats to him or her in these kidnapping/assasination climes we live. However one should not answer another's phone calls. If anything is suspected, the matter should be raised immediately and dealt with maturely. |
No, not without permission. The caller wants to speak to your partner, not to you. Period. |
Scarpon: looks more like ACNExactly. So much for partnership. What else will the ACN sacrifice to make this thing work. Doesn't look good. |
Now that the humble humvee has lost most of its dazzle I expect to see this G-beast bearing down desert dunes and burning oil wells somewhere in Iran looking for WMD's very, very soon. Welcome the ultimate troop carrier. |
oleku baby: RealityExactly what am saying. It pays bills. That's the end of life. But tommorrow, complaints. A serious viscious cycle. With so much influence amongst the populace and millions in the bank, we expect Nollywood to start for instance digging at our roots to find out why Nigeria is like this today. When I watched Martin Scorcese's flick 'The Gangs of Newyork' it got me thinking and later reading on the evolution of the American society to what it has become today. I was able to seperate fact from fiction and discover certain parallels with our society today. Unfortunately there is nothing on this sie to close the equation. If you ask them they will tell you no one will buy. Well, Martin has never been known to make blockbusters. He just makes movies anyway. |
Slow down! what lesson did u learn from Pirates of the carribean? How much value did Titanic add to ur life as a person? Movies, whether bollywood, hollywood, or nollywood are just for entertainment.......Hollywood may seem better but I have seen movies that are just below par.....There are some new nollywood movies that I believe are beginning to raise the bar.........I have also learnt alot from Hollywood, bollywood, japanese, and even nollywood....but I am not going to write off Nollywood as being abysmal considering that other people find it entertaining.....
This has been a long drawn out unresolvable argument between me and Nollywood protagonists. With the exception of the taxes and jobs it generates I cannot see any value whatsoever. And the argument goes on and on. Then the phone rings and yet another question on contemporary knowledge. I repeat again. Nollywood in my honest opinion gives me nothing. Barely adds to what I already know. But because the vast majority of Nigerians tend not to desire knowledge Nollywood will not improve in the short term. There is more to life than romance, betrayal, money, vodoo and culture. There is history, technology, the arts, legalism, politics, governance and on and on that Nollywood conveniently ignores. You say what does Captain Jack Sparrow and Pirates of the Caribean adds yet your oil is being hijacked at sea. Nigerians just don't care to know anything. When Bin Laden's home was raided amongst other things was found the legendary book 'The Art of War'. Consider this carefully. |
Anything non analytical flies their kite anyday. Nigerian movies switch off the thinking region and stimulates the emotional region and they love it. Same in real life. |
Reading through Opera Sports this morning on what Sol Campbell said before the match. That is exactly what happened. Everyone seems to know more about the club than those responsible for it. |
I don't agree with the doctrines of every denomination but one thing is clear, over the past few years those churches that have managed to get their members to oblige their financial responsibilities have grown in leaps and bounds. They are on telly, on billboards, branches on every street, literally in your face with the gospel. Does this take an analytical mathmatecian to decode how this works. Of course in the western world the church is shrinking for the exact opposite reason, shrinking funding to the church. Now this is good for some who want to see churches close down or turned into pubs or museums but why beat about the bush. If people want a big house, a big car, a big football club they fund it. If I want a big church why should I sit down and fold my arms, I pay for it. Tithes and offerings are common sense practices. |
Because you cannot find any assembly where members are alive to their financial obligations towards God that is not thriving. It is not rocket science. If you want church growth and more people to hear the gospel you have to fund it. That is the meat in the storehouse thing. Church growth is a threat to some so they oppose the funding. Period. |
frosbel2: Question : Where is GOD's storehouse ?Why not just say that you desire to see the funding of churches ended so that their growth is curtailed and the spread of the gospel curtailed. Just get to the point. |
funkybaby:The players will take ten years adjusting to the bus driver. Theo: That's it. I will never be like Thierry. Vermaleen: Thank goodness. Tired of looking up at myself in the giant screen doing the splits. Szczesny: This park the bus thingy is no good. No more post match interviews. But my gloves smell better. |
They can buy the club for 25p for all I care as long as they can flush that french man down the drain. Arsenal's problem has never been money but how to spend it. Oops, sorry your Excellency for unwillful plagiarism. |
