Any team that isn't shipping in goals is against Barca is accused of parking the bus. Do you expect Milan to attack without the ball. Both keepers have been active. Milan have pushed forward everytime the ball breaks for them.

Is there any coach that has retired undefeated or one that can guarantee trophies in every event he enters? What is Osaze talking. Those who understand football know that any player, coach or team is only as good as his/its last match. Even Messi with have Barca fans up in arms if his form dips. Sir Alex is a legend. He won zero in four trophies last year. He should realise that Keshi is in a strong position. Going forward do we expect him to win the InterCup or World Cup next year, no. So all he needs are decent results to maintain his job.

Osaze should focus on his game together wth his dodgy attitude which has set him back. Efe Ambrose put his head down and worked hard and now Liverpool is asking while bros Osaz even offered his reputation to a relegation bound club but no way. Talk of the biblical seeking the kingdom of God first.

When we feel we have prayed enough and also back it up with praise and there is a delay we can do any of the following,
1. Keep having faith that He has heard of prays and the results or answers will manifest cos it may be delayed but He will never refuse or deny us anything good.
2.Sow a seed; it is advisable to always back up our request wit an offering to challenge to answer us speedily.
3. We can also make a covenant or vow(something we know we are able to do to appreciate Him when He does it)
4.We can also give money to the blind or disabled beggars in faith...
When we have done any of the above we shd relax and keep giving Him thanks for prayers answered!

Another performance chronology. One sentence of prayer is all you need. God has told you He is not deaf nor forgetful so why the hammering.

If you are in trouble. Just say. Lord I'm in a fix and I need your help. Period. Of course you need to be related to someone to ask. The only people who ask without a relationship are beggars. You are not. You are or should be His son.

The problem with most people is hearing, understanding and faiti. But the God I know is ALWAYS speaking.

Please reply with sincerity of heart[/quote]There is no next thing to do. If your Christianity is a performance driven one you will get frustrated. Christianity unlike old testament Judaism is all about grace and righteousness. Grace simply means you are sheep in His pasture. Every aspect of your life is under His control and Righteousness which is believing and obeying exactly what He says.

Has He asked for your fastings, praise and other offerings? Why don't you just listen to what He is saying and do it.

You will be surprised that God wants you delivered even faster than you yourself but there has to be a connection.

Remember the rich man who told Jesus he had done everything. That is everything except what Jesus wanted. It is not performance but understanding and obedience.

The League board that ran out of money midway last season and had to ask clubs to handle referees expenses until a general outcry terminated that wierd arrangement. Goal-line tech is a referee's aid no? If you can't pay the man, why try to give him staff car.

CFCfan: Yeah, football (soccer) isn't as popular in the US as of now; but all that will soon change in the next 15-20 years. This is because more American youths and kids are playing actively than ever before.

Goal-line technology wouldn't in itself, make Americans to love football more. Instant replays, a challenge system (where a team can call for a review of the referee's decision)and the introduction of time-outs may do the trick. But these proposals would definitely not be well received by Africans, Europeans and other football-crazy continents, who prefer the status quo.
If they ever introduce time-outs in football that is curtains for me. I can't even bear half-time and injury stops particularly when simulated. And those late substitutions when your team needs a goal, aargh.

lateef4me: TODAY'S WORD FOR TODAY

WHEN GOD LIGHTS A FIRE UNDER YOU

‘…Great persecution broke out…and all…were scattered…’

Acts 8:1

2013-02-18

Jesus never intended for His disciples to get comfortable in Jerusalem and stay there. He told them, ‘…Forgiveness of sins will be preached in [my] name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem’ (Luke 24:47 NIV). They were only supposed to remain in Jerusalem long enough to be infused with power, then take the gospel to the world. But they ‘…returned to Jerusalem…And…stayed continually at the temple, praising God’ (vv. 52-53 NIV). Now it’s okay to wait on God for directions and the power to carry them out, but not to keep repeating some earlier experience you’ve had. Jesus said, ‘You will receive power…and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all of Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth’ (Acts 1:8 NIV). So how did God get them out of their comfort zone? By lighting a fire under them! ‘…Great persecution broke out against the church at Jerusalem, and …Those who had been scattered preached the word wherever they went’ (Acts 8:1-4 NIV). We all believe the gospel must be preached to every nation, but few of us want to leave home and take it to them. We’re willing to pray, and even pay, as long as we get to stay. But when God has a mission for you, He will do whatever it takes to get you moving. Before He will let you miss out on your destiny, He will permit trouble to uproot you. You can’t freeze-frame the past or relive it. And you can’t keep God’s blessing to yourself. When God lights a fire under you, He’s saying; ‘It’s time for you to move!’

Hebrews 5-8, Matthew 15:1-14, Psalm 149 , Proverbs 4:25-27

TODAY'S PRAYER - FROM PRAYER FOR TODAY MAGAZINE

FOUNDATIONS IN PRAYER

Give thanks for the prayer which already happens in your community, especially where several churches are praying together.  Pray for those who champion prayer in your local area, and particularly for those who co-ordinate prayer for mission activities.  Ask God to shield them with His protection, and give them His strength as they encourage more and more people to pray.  Pray that mission-minded prayer in your community will increase and multiply in the ...
Blessed Word. May we know exactly where we stand with God in His Will at every point in time so that when things happen we can put those events in spiritual perspective and react appropriately. In Christ every challenge is an instrument of teaching aimed at moving us to the next level of His Purpose. 'That ye might be perfect lacking nothing'.

Things of God do not require your supernatural strength. Granted we are to put in our best always but if we hope to achieve His Will by our own abilities then we fall flat. In most cases we are tasked beyond our natural abilities and tested to see what we really trust. I bet you as soon as he passes the test God will move him to something new. God is never static. This thread may not be there by year's end so make the most of it while it lasts. That's the way God does His things. Manna is always only for a season. Use it wisely.

passjamb: The kingdom of God is simply the kings domain, where the king is, to know how the kings kingdom operates you ve to know the king. You ve to know God, who is God, God is love.

A heart that is a heart of love is the kingdom of God, God first showed this love thru Jesus and the rest is history. Hope u get me
Your answer is very fuzzy. Okay put it together with the second part of the text saying 'seeking His Righteousness' to understand better what is happening in the church today.

That is exactly the problem in Nigeria. The sheer number of immoral people in the system, in the chain of events makes any anti-corruption effort exyremely hard. We just have to collectively say no. German vs Japanese Cars: What made you think one is more reliable or durable than the other? Out of experience, journalist, trend, propaganda, etc?

Likewise, Euro or American vs Asian Cars: reliability & durability. Which one would you like to own or stick with, as long as you can afford it(them). What are your reasons.

Please, do remember that reliability and durability don't mean the same. State which one is reliable or durable more than the other, to you.

Ikenna.
These terms mean different things to different people so I expect vigorous debates. But essentially what is reliable was created to be durable in the first place except when speaking exoterically.

Boss13: What is domestic violence and molestation? Everybody (especially women) seems to agree that domestic violence is a crime against humanity. However, I believe we are not addressing it properly. When does domestic violence start from? IMO it does not start from the beating. It starts from the hurling of insults, the provocation, the constant yelling. Women are putting so much energy in the fight against domestic violence and molestation. That same energy and advocacy should also be use to teach women about being properly disciplined and choice of words when addressing their partners, husbands, children e.t.c. To me the fight against domestic violence is a charade if the root cause is not address I.e respect for the emotions of other people (especially those we claim we love). Honestly, I am not out to attack women. I just notice that we do not get to hear of domestic violence when the table is switched. Women/men should learn to RESPECT the emotions of their partners when in anger. Also, we should think of the consequences involved when next we want to provoke our partners or neighbors.

If your civil partner constantly hurl insults on you, makes you feel insecure and turn you to a wreck emotionally. You better leave such relationship.

RIP Reeva Steenkamp.
But why didn't he leave. They were not married. You just don't whack everything that upsets you. Even God tried it and it didn't work.

Well, I will try my best to say it slow for the slowpokes. Avoid a relationship with any woman who brings out your bad side. An incompatible woman will bring you down, same way a "soulmate" will help you achieve your goals or help you maintain your already achieved status.

I'm sorry for Oscar and his late GF. Mr fani Kayode spoke from wisdom that only comes from experience.

all you feminist women who watch oprah or other confusionists and try to act out thier ideals on your relationship, you will end up single or dead. (you can be married and still single).
Most of the victims of this kinda crimes are usually "women with power" ... O.j simpsons wife, suzy Q ..
I totally disagree here. If our lives are all for gunning down everyone or anyone who provokes us then this world is over, finished.

What I detect here is a control freak who's overcome adversity and regards every posession as a trophy. If that is the case society should lock him away for a long, long time until he realises what life is actually about.

Sam Milla: The greatest weapon of women is their mouth.
They can tell you things you never dream of hearing in your life time. They can run their mouth from morning to night especially when they see their faces on tv or magazine. They always think that they married the wrong man especially if they are making enough money for themselves.

It requires a very restrictive man to avoid beating them all the time.

I don't like or endorse what the 'blade guy' did but living women must learn to avoid saying certain things. Anger can cause anything.
Little wonder people kill their wives daily in USA.
But these guys were not married. There was no legal obligations between them. Its not as if Oscar was in a cage fighting to get away from a raging tiger. Like Femi said just before shooting himself 'just walk away' or as in that case just open the front door and let the tiger loose.
