Olalekank: First off, I am not involved in AI and have done nothing that involves AI.
- Like you need to have been programming for more than 10yrs and Fact check: there is no need to have been programming for 10 years. Many people with far less experience pick up AI and go on to excel in the field. I know people who have been coding for less than 5 years and have delved into AI successfully.
- have known data structure and algorithm to go into A.I.. Fact check: while it’s true that you might need some data structures and algorithms (queue, graph, search algorithms, etc) when working in the AI field, you do NOT need to know these data structures BEFORE diving into the field. You can pick up the necessary data structures and algorithms you need along the line when you need them.
Let’s try not to gatekeep fields even when we might not realize it Yes you do not need all those above to delve into it. But you need at least 10yrs experience and have known data structures and algorithm to get a job. If you doubt me look around you, anyone into AI who has got all it takes to get a job in AI who isn't working in AI to know what I'm talking about. |

Kobojunkie: i would think the ones who would be against this sort of law would be men who think that having a woman at home is a right. You demand those women get paid for their share of time and effort spent in the marriage, and you will see them revolting against such. Can't them women go out and make their money? Abi they're the only putting time into the marriage? |

Ayotemide: Twice today I have been baffled by Mods decision to move two brain depleting topics to the front page,
The first would be: Careers of a woman would put you off as a man? The low thinking thread lies here full of people with opinions, albeit brain-draining: https://www.nairaland.com/6765187/careers-women-turn-off-man Next would be: Would you want a Career Woman/ Wife? https://www.nairaland.com/6766070/want-career-woman-house-wife.
It is not a mistake to state that many men here are obsessed with women, their vagina matters, life and generally that they even exist.
All Careers done by men are ''good" and not expected to be a put off for women' in addition there is no word in the dictionary that says 'Career men', it is an anomaly.
At the root of these threads is the consuming need to control women, what they do and what they represent. It's the same suffocating need that drives some men here to always blame women and find excuses for the violence meted against them. The same ones that vilify other women for having the audacity to have sexual pleasure away from weak joysticks that will never satisfy them.
It's the same need that puts the inglorious bastards that identify as red-pillers barking like dogs from a kennel about 'how evil women are' day and night like the unemployed.
Your mother would be proud to see the stuff you write about women here, Junior.
My requests are easy, we demand respect on these streets, a safe place from poorly-raised overfed bitter men; and more important topics that do not reduce women to commodities whose life goals are taunted by men who would never be enough.
cc: SEUN Doesn't people have the right to say what they want regardless how you or anyone else feel? You trample on other people's rights and you call it woke. Is that life? |

Fisher007: You have to understand, sexuality is the only thing most women have to offer. That is why attention seeking is their hobby, and how do they seek this so called attention? By sexualising themselves in one way or the other.
Go and social media and observe. On WhatsApp, Instagram, tiktok, Facebook etc. It is always the same pattern. In music videos and movies they display this sexual object tendencies.
Most even display it subconsciously. They have been programmed to act in such manner. Most know that they can't get the so called attention they seek intellectually. They have to go back to their so called beauty. That is why I am so Glad the undeafeated wall exist.
Ever wonder why old ladies envy the young one with so much passion. It is because of the wall. They loose beauty very fast (by age 30-35) and the attention they seek doesn't exist no more. Why do you think make up becomes their best friend. No matter how they try, they all always take the same part. It is just their programming. Female empowerment most time is a scam. Try to ask them for the follow up or update of their empowerment program and nothing comes up. Flesh and blood did not reveal this to you! |

Education › Re: Fortune Okudaye: Lady Rides Okada To Pay School Fees, Shares Her Experience by Regex: 4:14pm On Sep 23, 2021 |
BornorBang: Fortune Okudaye is a 24 year old lady who narrates to BBC how she used her dispatch riding business to pay her school fees while she was in Lagos.
Fortune who is from Delta state said that the worst advice she has got from people was that she is too beautiful to be riding a bike under the hot sun in Lagos state.
In her interview, she said they asked her to pick up prostitution instead.
The lady came to Lagos in 2017 on the promise her father’s brother made to put her in school.
According to the 24-year-old lady, the man said that she would have to pay him back. Fortune later braved it and went job hunting.
The lady who has been riding bikes since she was 11 years old said that she went into the okada business because there were no well-paying jobs for her in the state.
Fortune noted that the bike riding business is not for the faint-hearted. She revealed that the number of accidents she has had is enough for her to quit already.
The lady who has been embarrassed on many occasions said she was once slapped by a female customer. Fortune could not retaliate because of the fear of a sack.
The 24-year-old would have loved to further her education to HND level but cannot as most of her income now goes to her mother’s treatment who has cancer.
Her story has attracted so many heart-felt reactions from Nigerian internet users.
https:///24-yr-old-lady-rides-okada-to-pay-school-fees-shares-experience/ And that is news how? Whenever Nigeria stops celebrating mediocrity that's when progress will come to us. Imagine ordinary bike? Come to UK and see ajibotas working in warehouse lifting heavy things... Going 12hrs straight on a shift with only 45min break. Someone is riding okada and we should celebrate her because she's the first. Come UK come see where fine babes deh drag double deck coach (I will attach pictures of the double deck coach). So this one is riding okada I should now fry beans. Stupid media and the shenanigans they're shoving down our throats. |

Not that I fancy any of our leaders, but I can not fault them for fortifying their abode and convoy. Murtala Mohammed was on his way to mosque in '76,with only his driver and adc before he was assassinated. In shagari case,no gun was fired, except the one shot by shagari adc to kill col. bako when he informed shagari he has been overthrown.

I can't believe this statement. So nothing wrong with the tw*t of a husband behaving like an e-goat that should be slaughtered.
We men have tendencies, it is fact but doesn't mean it all of a sudden right to cheat on your woman and as if that's not enough, the public prick saw nothing wrong and goes about threatening the woman.
He deserves being castrated. Thank GOD I am not GOD, such a man I will visit it with some sickness for a while to let him realise a woman who can cheat on her husband with you doesn't really love you.
I have three daughters and when I hear pathetic stories like this I become annoying, restless and more prayerful for them.
