KOVIC19COVID20: Justwise, I beg you in the name of God. Stop misinforming the uninformed. It’s not fair.
Watching live T. V in the uk on any gadget whether phone, tablet, TV, laptop without a TV license is a crime.
Granted, there were plans and moves by Govt to decriminalise it (I think sometime in 2020). In that plan, the intention was to make offenders to pay fine, and not face criminal charges. But that was only the Plan.
As things are in the UK today. Watching live Tv without a Tv license is a crime.
Well well.. at this point, let me stop arguing with the all-knowing Justwise before he bans me too like he did with RalphJean.
OK. Bye. Watching live TV is a crime. Watching TV is not crime. You and justwise are right. But you don't understand justwise. |

How come i haven't banned everyone that disagrees with me here? How come he is the only person that got banned? Calling me a criminal for not opening door to TV lience people? I have no class for not reporting that i don't streaming live program?
How many of you here have i banned?
Have i ever banned you before but we have disagreed on many issues.
How many of you here have i ever banned? Even when we don't agree on the same issue?
Don't i have the right to give my opinion on issue without receiving insults from someone?
Don't streaming any live program and i don't want to pay for something i don't use but i still get called a criminal. Course of being a mod. With great power comes great responsibility. |

Gave us the dirtiest hardest job ever, we worked and didn't go for the second break. We were tired, we murmured amongst ourselves that we were tired, I told them when I see the boss I'd ask him to let us have our break, when the boss came, I asked him, instead of these Nigerians to back me up, they kept mute and I thought to myself, if this guy gets mad and decides to fire, he could fire me easily without problem and probably paint me thr bad guy, but the many Nigerians never talked they kept mute. This is really a problem. |

Martinez39s: Read what I wrote again. Ubunja thought BLOODYSPERM was "stealing" his work, hence the reaction. It is understandable that Ubunja gets very upset and annoyed at any perceived attempt to steal his work. Ubunja wasn't being petty and needlessly emotional like GLYCOLYSISS. By the way, given how Ubunja perceived BLOODYSPERM's post as plagiarism, the statement "use your brain" isn't really an insult. Read the "use your brain" post and you will see Ubunja meant "think and come up with your own stuff."
Plagiarism or any situation in which someone else can be mistaken as the author of Ubunja's write up is what Ubunja is trying to avoid. There is nothing bad in this and acknowledgement isn't so much to ask. BOTH didn't have any bad intentions, it's just a misunderstanding that was needlessly escalated by DEMZÈE and a hòe here. Plagiarism is a huge offence. A very big one. I know people in Nigeria will not take it seriously because it's never hammered enough in school. I didn't know that if you don't reference someone well, you have plagiarised which is a punishable offence. So rather than anyone take offence, learn from it. And stop being a butt hurt. This is for everyone and not for @Martinez39s even though I may have tagged him. |

Ilekokonit: Your hands on experience will stand you in good stead but if you can learn some Java programming too it will be VERY helpful. What ever you do, learn as much ICT skills before you leave Nigeria.
Job boards such as indeed.co.uk will show you what skills are in demand and tailor your learning accordingly. All in all its a hard graft here in the UK even for those with years of experience and whatever you do bring as much money as you can if you are not in the UK already as you don't want to depend financially on already stressed relatives friends who can throw you out onto the streets if they perceive that you are stressing them in any way.
The stress in the UK is not for the faint hearted and is UNRELENTING so prepare your mind to work harder than you've ever done in your life if you are to get a job and keeping the job is a different kettle of fish where office politics, subtle racism, etc may creep in if you are unlucky.
Best of luck but be prepared to work your socks off. Bro everything you wrote here, I have experienced since I came into the UK. UK isn't for the faint hearted wished I had enough IT skills before I came. Well I'd say na lack of money and perspective in Nigeria that made me not take programming serious. The little I've been working, I'm able to save up money to buy some courses and tbh, I'll get there. As for the bolded, to the guy whom you are advising, he should take it really serious cause these people sabi race against you without you even realising. They will give you jobs they'd never give a white man and you have no other option but to do it. |

Just read the content and observe the clear disparity with the headline
2years is not too far again,
Its actually a year, because 2022, 2nd quarter will be pre-occupied by campaign activities that Nigerians will now face the possible in coming president.
Buhari has done his best though he came in almost at the worst period in Nigeria situation, a condition that could have been easily solved if there was saving by the previous govt, same situation that save Nigerians during the 2008 global economic meltdown, Yar'adua only went into the high reserve OBJ left for him and brought out money to cushion the suffering that was about to befall Nigerians then......
Reverse became the case with GEJ as he instead of saving, depleted the ones left for him.........
Never again shall we have Clueless and current a Nepotism promoting leader in Nigeria

Part of the problem of this generation is when men of God go to these lying, thief-ing politicians as though they're soliciting for them.
This man has gone to Yahaya Bello painting him all good and now his followers will vote for him because their Father in the Lord visited him. This is terrible if you ask me. It is not against the law, but it's unethical.
Knowing how bad Nigeria is, the same politicians ruling should not be solicited for even by anyone who can swing vote.
I just pity Nigerians, because they're about to sing lovely songs of how Buhari ruled us better. |
