They try to ridicule Obasanjo in public and then sneak to Ota to grovel and beg under cover of night.

This clown of a minister is calling out Obasanjo and accusing him of treason but is silent about an Asari Dokubo and other supporters of the PDP who have openly threatened war on the nation.

Ironic that a statement accusing another of paying for popularity on social media is issued by a man serving as a "special adviser on social media." A man whose bread and butter rides on whipping up pro-government sentiments on social media. A man who is known to create phantom pseudonyms to fight off anti - government opinions on social media.

I will make my comments after they commence their "mosque to mosque" campaign for Jonathan....

I marvel at the way Jonathan seizes the pulpit of various churches every Sunday to make far reaching political statements and campaign for votes.

Yet Buhari is the one that gets accused of trying to ride on religious sentiments to win elections even though he has never been reported to have made a campaign speech in a mosque or a church.

That is not a spear. That is a pen....The symbol of the now defunct CPC on whose platform Buhari contested the 2011 elections.

Buhari in the excerpt urged the people to vote and monitor their votes till the votes are counted and results announced. He then said if anyone tries to prevent them either from voting or monitoring their votes, such a person should be destroyed.

"Ku halaka su" directly translated to English means "destroy them."

It is manifestly different from "Ku kashe su" which means "Kill them!"

Buhari called for the people to defend their votes by all means....not to kill anyone.

Buhari has never hidden the fact that he is a devout Muslim. Now I understand the need for his detractors to continue to paint him falsely as a religious fundamentalist whose only agenda is to Islamise Nigeria in order to gain political mileage.

But to think that some of you actually believe that nonsense is upsetting to say the least.

Buhari, had a muslim deputy and was in absolute control of the nation for 20 months. He did not Islamise Nigeria then.

How then is he suppose to achieve that now, in a democracy....even if that was actually his ambition

The level of ignorance on this nairaland.com is alarming. I wonder if you people know the amount of education and training that goes into making a General in the Nigerian Armed Forces....or any armed forces anywhere in the world.

Military people usually get to attend some of the best schools in the world. One of the best tertiary institutions in Nigeria for instance is the Defence Academy in Kaduna. Soldiers graduate from there with a degree and go on to attend various A. Rated training programmes all over the world.

Your average Nigerian military officer (commisioned) is exposed to the kind of education and training some of you can only dream of but won't ever be able to achieve.

OP is here asking if Buhari, a retired military General and a decorated war hero has a degree

Thats the point. PDP is not GEJ or FG. GEJ cannot be responsible for everything FG says, like APC and its government officials. If the president came out and openly accused a governor of sponsoring Boko Haram, it will be a scandal of the highest order.

The other link said SSS cleared Ihejirika and Former Governor Sherif who is PDP and not Current Governor Shettima who is APC.

Noooooo why will they clear him? The DSS only clears new found friends of the president who happened to be in power at the advent of the Boko Haram scourge.....like Modu Sheriff. The same one who is now a member of the PDP and walking around with about 200 Nigerian soldiers guarding him.

If Shettima wants to be cleared by the DSS, he only needs to hop on the GEJ 2015 train.

i once read a post on here that said all PDP governors were rogues and it exempted APC and APGA... i argued that day that any Governor that wants wants to work will do so regardless of the party... I made mention to Akpabio, i said Rotimi did well has a PDP governor, I mentioned Uduagan...

but no APC people took me on very well... i rested my case

today someone writes the achievements of Rotimi and am looking at that list over 90% was done as a PDP governor which goes to support my claim again so i asked a question and you decided to bring a dimension into it...

Ok first of all, I am not a member of the APC...though it isn't like there is anything wrong with having party affiliations.

Secondly, if you once held a position that a public official's performance transcends party lines, hold on to it because it is the right position.

Nairaland is an anonymous public forum of people from diverse political, socio-cultural and religious extractions. It would be foolish to lose yourself in all of the madness that goes on here.

‘’For Obanikoro to claim in sheer ludicrousness that I, even remotely, identify with any intimations of violence is utter lunacy and blind, vindictive madness. I would even suggest going forward that any poster that post such without verifiable evidence be banned for a period of time.

listen we both know how the game is played. When AD was in govt in the south west ,you dare not mention pdp or even support them in public but did they lose or not?when pdp was in govt in south west states ,you dare not talk against them but yet ppl voted them out! In the south west the mere fact that ppl agree with apc members views at newstands or bukaterias doent mean they will vote for apc. If u really want to be in tune with things don't base ur opinions on what ppl say at busstops or newstands ,yorubas are peace loving people and they will do anything possible not to pick a fight so if u tell them apc is the best they will readily agree but once u turn ur back they will yimu at u. That is yoruba politics for u.in yoruba politics when ppl are shouting and hailing u be very careful there is 80% possibilty they won't vote for u,but they will tell u what u want to hear.

first of all don't take the loud noise and opinion of just 100 monikers on nairaland here that belongs to maybe just 10 people as the general stand of yorubas on buhari. Secondly,there is no way buhari can win in the south west except maybe it is rigged for him by apc governors. Thirdly pdp still remains the party of the yoruba majority,but yorubas are very enlightened and mature when it comes to elections,they have the capacity to vote for different parties at each level in a particular election. The problem pdp has always had in the south west is candidate and that can be seen in the case of ekiti and osun. Anytime pdp presents a popular candidate acceptable to the yoruba man ,they vote enmasse for pdp eg ekiti. In the case of osun,many osun indigenes are already fed up of apc but because the candidate presented by pdp is not popular they decided to vote for apc and even despite that pdp was still able to pull over 200,000 votes. apc is currently facing a battle of survival in the south west ,the party is hugely divided and many key figures have left, there is no way apc won't drop one or 2 more states in the south west. In the case of buhari, forget the fools shouting buhari name here on nairaland all day,the points against buhari is more than the points in his advantage. I can tell u that buhari is not accepted to the majority of yorubas .a candidate like atiku would have given pdp serious problems with a vice in the mould of oshiomole but buhari and osinbajo ticket is just as if apc leaders are been paid to lose that elections .
