Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State today at the hallowed Chambers of the State Executive Council (EXCO) formally presented licenses processed and approved by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) to five indigenes of the state who have successfully undergone training as helicopter pilots at the International Helicopter Flying School, Nigerian Air Force Base, Enugu, through the sponsorship of the state government.

Presenting the licenses, Gov. Ugwuanyi noted that the successful trainees have been found worthy in character and learning to be issued with the Commercial Pilot Licenses (CPL) of different ratings, along with the pilot logbooks.
The governor congratulated them for passing out meritoriously from the rigorous training and urged them to see the opportunity as a rare one which they are expected to reciprocate by making Enugu State proud “as you practise this profession with great dexterity”.
The governor also expressed the appreciation of the state government to the management and staff of International Helicopter Flying School, Nigerian Air Force Base, Enugu, for painstakingly drilling the new pilots through the rudiments of flying helicopters, saying that they are not only professional pilots but commercial pilots.
“We shall continue to partner with the International Helicopter Flying School, Nigerian Air Force Base, Enugu to empower and develop more of our youths as long as Enugu State remains in the hands of God”, Gov. Ugwuanyi said.
Responding, Captain Ohagwasi, on behalf of other pilots applauded Gov. Ugwuanyi for the sponsorship and helping them actualize their dream, and promised to be dedicated in their duties to do the state and the country proud.
One of the pilots, Captain Henry Ezengene was absent at the ceremony.

harbdulrasaq88: Nigeria's Minister of agriculture, Audu Ogbeh has said that the United States rejected yam exports from Nigeria because of their poor quality.
In June, Nigeria exported yams to China, United Kingdom and US as part of efforts to reduce dependence on oil and increase income from the agricultural sector.
The Minister vowed to investigate both the exporting company and officials of the ministry’s department of quarantine for allowing “such substandard good to leave the shores of the country”.
“Some consignment of yams were exported from Nigeria to the United States and according to reports we have today, they were found to be of poor quality,” he said.
“We will be investigating both the company that exported it and our quarantine department to check and find out why such a consignment left here.”
Ogbeh also said the price of rice will reduce substantially in the “next one month”.
The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Nigerian Customs Service, Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) and Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON) were charged with the responsibility of ensuring that yams exported were properly checked and certified.
Others are Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC), Nigerian Agricultural Quarantine Service (NAQS), Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), National Agricultural Seed Council (NASC).

Irukkanews: A metal fabricator in Anambra State, Ifeanyi Okpoko popularly known as Anagwanti has been arrested by the Ogidi Police on suspicion of ritual murder. Okpoko who hails from Umunnaama, Eziowelle town in Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State was accused of abducting one 16 years old boy, Chidera Ezeanya from Late Chief Francis Ekwunife's compound in Eziowelle on Sunday, October1st ,2017. He allegedly tied and hung him on a hand-crane and by the time Chidera's dead body was discovered the next day by the youths in the village, some vital organs were missing from his body.
An eye witness, Chukwudi Okafor said the deceased, Chidera, was in his compound playing on that fateful afternoon with his age mates when Ifeanyi Okpoko called him, according to him, Chidera's play mates including himself, had thought that the man wanted to send him on an errand since all of them are from the same Umunnaama village. He said when they waited till night without seeing him, they went to their various houses. According to him, the next morning being Monday October 2, when they learnt that Chidera had not come back, they all went to Ifeanyi Okpoko's house in search of him, only to see find tied and hung on a hand-crane. He said;
"We shouted and ran out to call elderly people in the village but before we came back, Okpoko had untied the body, put it in his car and drove out of his compound..It was later that we heard that his body had been deposited at a mortuary in Ogidi.
An octogenarian, Pa Ezekiel Uzomah who expressed shock said that what Okpoko did was an abomination. According to him, the youths had wanted to burn the suspect's house but they were restrained from taking laws into their hands. However, he said the village has tied palm frond around Okpoko's house as a sign of ostracization. Pa Uzomah made us to understand that according to their rule, they don't bring police into issues in their village. But he said the gruesome murder of Chidera by his own kinsmen is beyond the village and prayed that justice should be serviced for the slain boy.

I drive a Toyota Corolla, it runs perfectly fine without the a/c on, but when I put on the a/c on a hot afternoon in traffic, the car starts overheating.
My radiator has a single fan, functioning for both the radiator and the condenser
I have visited a mechanic, who scanned the car. He replaced the a/c relay that controls a manual a/c compressor and the engine thermostat. But he left the fan running directly with the ignition because the compressor was not controlling the radiator fan when we put on the a/c.
I have flushed the radiator and steam washed the condenser. Then we refilled the cooling system with red abro anti rust coolant. And bleed the cooling system.
I tested the car in heavy traffic and it still overheats. Please what do I do now??
