But can that material last?.... considering how it will be washing out colors and fade easily within a term... |
Pochettino:Not all women... My mum is nice... Believe me...I can't vouch for my sisters but my Mum, I know her well enough ... ![]() |
How will someone read and understand in this environment? |
That was just a moment of ranting and loosing it due to pressure.. |
It was just your imagination... U did what you were not prepared and trained to do.. so it has an after effects.. Just calm down and bring your mindset home.. your mind is overworking like nollywood magic house of macro |
ImaIma1:Oh!!! You got good news and you were hiding it.. Congratulations on the baby... How are you and the baby doing?.. What's the gender?...I am happy for you You are right that living in peace should not be hard. believe me I love peace alot and anything that will not give me peace... I just avoid that with all my heart. I also love my space too.. in fact, a lot of it... But what I do not usually understand is... when a man is living say 2bedrooms flat peacefully with his elder brother no issues whatsoever.. Then the elder brother starts catching feelings towards a lady.. The lady saw the situation of things... how they were living... knowing that the young man was a student or was doing a job that can hardly pay the rent.... The lady entered into the house in the name of legally married and wants the young man out of the house.. Starts putting restrictions here and there, acting alfa in the kitchen... She now wants to create a situation where she wants the husband to choose between his siblings and herself.. and u know how dangerous that situation is for any man... What I do not understand is...she saw the situation of things before she agreed to marry the man right?.. is she not supposed to have brought the issues up before tying the knots so that the man can decide to find an alternative living arrangement for the siblings or call the relationship off.. I bet that's just what may have transpired between OP and the sister inlaw... |
I don't just want to tell you what I thought of your Uncle...I guess people that read your write up were boiling within...scared to tell you.. so u won't get offended ![]() |
This is just a simple matter.. They should have gone to the school cafeteria, and do what we usually do in boarding school those days when they cook horrifying meal like Amala with dry Okro soup, some Hausa soup they called meyankuka, toowo shinkafa ( don't know if the spellings was correct ) .. we used to use those to redesign parts of the cafeteria..painting it on the wall. deliberately drop the food all over the floor and act as if we were upset that it fell.. |
CPR will soon be a thing of the past because of fear of Covid-19. Maybe assuming that was done immediately by the students , he may have had a chance of survival...RIP Sir |
They 'arrested' the Tv too.. ![]() |
Things have changed nowadays OP.. Things our grand parents sees as abomination is no longer it... People can comfortably cohabit for 20yrs without mentioning the word marriage.... Coz immediately they sign the dotted line of the certificate, they won't last for 10 weeks on it.. Just tell your dad to ask them for a collateral or they should sign somewhere that they are owing him and the date that they will pay back.. No oral contract... |
The man is just Hmmmmm!!!! ![]() |
A great pacesetter...She has indeed shown that with our horrible Passport and dirty image around the world, U can still make it with determination .. |
So..... Hmmm!!!! I don't even know how to frame this question for it to sound nice to the ears.... assuming he succeeded in using his mum for the said ritual, who will eat/ enjoy the money ? the girl friend? ![]() |
![]() Even the greeting self might have money undertone on it...Textbooks money, Handouts, Faculty/ departmental fees..even house rent might be in that single greeting... |
Babysho:Yea!!! Indeed U are a Liverpool fan... Maybe I should double check the meaning of fan again.. |
heniford2: ![]() I can just imagine what would have happened assuming OP dished out the food she (the sister in law) prepared by herself to his friend ... His luggage would have been at the entrance gate to their estate.. .All we wanted for them is peace my brother nothing more.. what I disliked in some people's attitude here on Nairaland is that sometimes they seems good at playing 'culture card' when it suits them perfectly.. like in this case, majority have already became Europeans all of a sudden, They have started forming nuclear family on OP.. they have seen OP as someone who has committed a great taboo by staying with his married Elder brother... But did the African culture permits that? that's a question for another day... But when situation shifts bases, and sh!t hits the roof in a relationship between married couple,, the same people dishing out Europeans style advise; that were forming nuclear family will be like why not call his family, don't u have uncle, sister, bla bla bla..They just remembered African culture when it feels convenient...It's just annoying.. |
Just wondering how and who the panel were that conducted her interview... Because her experiences and qualifications might be higher than ... |
Very soon in 10years or less than that time, he will appear as a senator... He's cooling off at the moment just out of media and social media scope |
Hundredfold4lif:I think you were too hash on the OP... Based on your marriage experiences, you should have known that there were so many dotted lines scattered around the story line that begged to be filled/ answered before passing your hasty judgement.. Besides, where you implying that if the young man was living with his brother alone in that house before his brother married the lady in question, he has no right to enter inside the same kitchen he has been using for years and cook?...Also in a normal situation where there are foodstuffs and all in the house, what's the big deal about OP entering into the kitchen, cooking and serving a friend?... He would have been faulted assuming he served food the sister inlaw cooked and prepared by herself to a friend... Besides since when have it become a big taboo in Nigeria for a brother to leave in the same house with his brother... Also telling him he will reap what he has sown without getting all the answers to solve the puzzle and telling him that you were 23 when you got married was uncalled for.. it was your choice,..you were mentally and financially prepared to get married @23... no one forced you to and it's not compulsory he must get marry at 23... Advise him on what will bring Peace and lasting solution in a cordial manner without acting as if you were mad at someone or frustrated because u got married at 23.. just saying.. ![]() |
Based on the situation reports, I give it to University of Nigeria Nsuka Enugu campus.. The students were the only institution based on this report that rose to the occasion and arrested their challenges... You can't sit and complain on an emergency situations.. get buckets and wash your toilets.. it's a desperate situation or u pay for it... |
<<< OP, The reason why you felt insulted could be that you have been living in that house with your brother before he married your sister inlaw and three of you were now sharing that same space that was your territory back then... You feel that she has no right to encroach on your already made heaven.. and she too feel that she's the rightful owner of the place... so she decided to show you that she is MRS. <<<< Here's what I think.. I think she has no right to throw your thing outside the house irrespective of what you have done... She has no respect for your brother..i might be wrong but she's the one calling the shots in that marriage if she couldn't wait for your brother to return so she can register her displeasure to him(that's none of my business anyways).. Assuming reverse was the case, and she was living with her own sister, can your brother throw her sister inlaw's belongings outside when the wife was not around.. <<<< OP, you should stop cooking for your friends... You are no longer living with your brother alone... serve them light refreshments when they come visiting.. when you get your own place, then you can cook for them and do as you like...You need not to drag territory with your sister-in-law.. All you have to do is hit the ignore button at all times.. maintain emotional and social distancing from her until you get your own place.. <<<< Finally please.. Please... and Please, whatever decision your brother takes concerning this issue, do not hate him... You might not know the emotional tussle going on behind close doors... The decision might be for him to just have peace of mind.. Help your brother to achieve that peace please.. |
The whole thing looks classy.. The lecture theater is nice too..... Maybe institutions should be admitting few students too as covid19 measures to achieve the social distancing regulation. Since Covid is the new normal and has come to stay... |

I think the Nigerian judicial system are not taking the rape cases serious.. Someone confessed of raping a 6yr old and the the best the judge could do was 7 years imprisonment ? |
weyreypey:Don't be surprised that you might see the same people commenting negatively at the recruitment centre.. na today? |
If it wasn't Western culture style, Then how would you like the president to be addressed that will be culturally correct and acceptable by all Nigerians..considering the ethnic groups in the country.. and some demonstrates more respect than the other ![]() |
I hope she remain in her office for ever because anytime she leaves office and make little complaint.. they will bring out all these nonsense she has been vomiting since |
While fumigation is necessary, clearing the clutters in your house is also necessary.. Give out/ throw away certain things that gave the environment/ your room a 'junk status'.. something that will give those creeping things a refuge should go ![]() |
Angelluvy: ![]() I will honestly want to find out from you.. would you please educate us more on how someone who wants to commit suicide look while posting his/ her suicide notes online? Because I have read so much about people that have done what OP just did and people like you thought they were kidding and like a flame, they extinguish themselves just like that... But since you were an expert in knowing who was fake and real, do you mind telling us |
Angelluvy:You are a powerful woman I must say.. the story is fake, but if eventually she takes her life, then you will talk to her..in her grave I guess... Sorry for interpreting what you have posted...but it is sickening |
![]() Just ask Air hostesses on duty.. They will tell you they are "man pleaser" They can about do anything for you with a smile even though it didn't reach the heart... Try and repeat the nonsense u made them do outside the plane ![]() |
