Oga, health insurance policies are usually funded by the employer. In the case where the employer has no policy in place - for example, ALL state governments in Nigeria, how is your statement of any consequence?
It will kill my time to give you a creche course about insurance policies.. I want to let you know that there are up to 4 insurance policies.. depending on the one u wanted..

The one you were talking about that the employer provides is the Liability insurance, which provides cover for situation where the insured is legally liable to others as a result of injury /damages...employers have a legal liability for injury to employees..

There are also Property insurance which covers damages to property by a range of different perils.. this happens when individual decides to pay monthly or so in case of Fire

There are also life insurance which help / cover the family in case of death or permanent disability...

The one I'm talking about is Health insurance policies which provides hospital and medical benefits cover.. Individuals pay for this to cover their families hospital expenses monthly...

You should ask your self how many times has your Government or employer covered your medical bills..
please stop sounding confident over what you have no idea about..

If she dies in that abusive relationship, no one will bury her with those kids... The good news is that she is working...
The beginning of a new journey is always difficult.. that is why all of you should encourage her to take that first step by contributing the money u would have used to buy coffin and find a two bedroom face me I face you house for her.. pay for one year then Let her stay there and start managing with her income...

She will adjust once she is alive... Please your family should do that ASAP if u really love your sister and want her alive ... When you have done that.. Congratulate yourselves..

In the event that she still wants to Answer MRS, by going back to eat her vomit,Tell her that all of you are going to wash your hands off her.. in fact the whole family should agree on it...
Let her know that those kids will not die.... A lot of people are 6 feet under because they were thinking about their kids, They remained in an abusive relationship and they still died in the process... Don't let your Sister be one of the statistics..

AngelicBeing:
Very sensible post, @ logobenz did it from a good heart but with the the state of insecurity across Nigeria especially rape, kids molestation / abduction, ritualism, kidnapping etc that is currently trending in Nigeria, just a scream or shout from the mum is enough to attract mob action before you call jack Robinson, a supposedly friendly gestures from an innocent bystander standing by his car is enough for wicked people to draw conclusions that the guy was planning to kidnap the child, Nigeria is a chaotic place, one has to be Extra careful, don't you see people refusing to give help to accident victims on the road because of fear of the police turning around to accuse you of what you don't know anything about, Nigeria is more like a dog chop dog society grin
So true... if he escapes mob action... and the police becomes involved... "I NO FOLLOW ABEG.. I AM INNOCENT" might be costing close to #1millon or More... and if you escape that, Reputation and image has been soiled already..

A lot of people studied insurance in Nigeria... How come they don't go about preaching what they studied?...Or where they looking for employment outside the scope of their career.. Or is it that the Citizens doesn't want to listen to them about the importance of health insurance policies ?. Assuming he has health insurance policy, they would have covered his medical bills.. RIP

No not really.
You know how rowdy mall parks can be na?
So I was just on my own standing besides my car when the kid ran to me and started holding my legs.
I dumped my cigarette and started playing with the boy.
Carried him and played a little.his smile was angelic tbh(the mom is very pretty) and I got carried away and started playing like he was my kid.
The mom was there but at a distance because the kid just ran, left the mom and came to me.you know how kids do na.
Only for the mom to approach me and display that nastiness.
I vex ehn...But just comport my self and left the place.
Don't do it next time man... Our world is no longer what it used to be... everyone is sitting on the edge at the moment.. if you greet someone RAPE, she ask direction and you answer RAPE...

U even went too far holding the kid as I said.. Please don't do it again... Those days have gone when you see a kid and u said hello.. If you do it nowadays, U will be tagged a pervert.. Child molester no matter the gender.. Nowadays some modern day moms now knew how to coach their kids to say certain things in court.. they rehearse after school..
Then you will see her on TV acting up with tears in her well made up face and manicured Fingers.. Not saying there were no perverts but you really have to stop so that you won't be among the statistics..

Thank God you did not say there was camera around the mall to probably pick your face for future references.. .. with the case of child kidnapping, kid molestation..In this present world of ours, If you greet someone it is RAPE.. Ask someone for direction, and you respond.. RAPE.. embarassed
You really went too far by even holding the kid....

I remembered the combination of Ahmed Musa and Victor Moses together... Both 2 were amazing to watch those days.. When one is holding the ball with full speed the other will run like crazy just incase.. their understanding and communication was just part of the skills lacking with the squad today.. It's just like watching Mane and Sallah together in a Liverpool match...

Almost all the married men I see around cheat. Let me speak up, since that's what you want. I am a lady, and I see things. I know far better than you. I have never seen a married man that is faithful. You are tempting me to talk about my own personal experiences, but I will not.
smiley U don't even know me, already you have concluded that you have seen and knew better than me..

Even if you were living in Gomorrah neighbourhood, as u want to make me believe how is it possible that every married man in that place runs around...Anyways, that OK. Let's not make this about us and focus on how to help OP.. especially as her job is at stake at the moment... What do you think is the way forward for her..

I have read more than enough books that talks about how unhealthy it is for married couples to live apart. The probability for men to cheat is far higher than women. Besides, I didn't say all men. I said majority of men. Don't vouch for anyone, you can never be so sure.
smiley I can now see where the problem is.. U READ IT... U have never seen it happen... This are two different things entirely... it's just like computer student studying only theory... But couldn't understand it during practical..

You read what the author wanted you to believe just to sell books... Please keep those books and their statistical analysis aside... It's time for you to do the observation yourself... Check if most men are truly cheats or just what every author called Ellen, Holly Jennifer and Joy wants you to believe..

Where do you see married couples who live far apart but are faithful? It is very very impossible. Any married couple that don't meet for at least once in a month will be prone to cheating, I am referring to the men, especially.
Your confidence in this subject matter is really amusing.. smiley
There are Nigerian men out here who has wife(s).. but due to one visa issue or the other, they couldn't join them... At least I know 4 that I can vouch for who doesn't run around.. They have the pic of their wife(s) and kids scattered all over the office desk, in their wallets etc.. they Skype every blessed day.. Make phone calls like crazy...
some even knew what their wife are gonna prepare for dinner...

Please don't go around painting every male species with the same brush.. it is dangerous... Expecially when you have never been to every household..

In this world that is full of unfaithful people, there are still lots of guys holding their sacred vow... The fact that few desecrate their marital vows does not mean every one was doing the same...

Before he left I was pregnant for my last baby n d agreement btw us was a 3mnths separation only. Gradually months kept on adding up until I put to birth, he came for the naming n went back. Now the story is not the same anymore as he is much more comfortable over there from his actions.Even when he comes around,u hear comments like,no more quietness again due to the kids laughter and crys. It kind of irritates him[/b].
Oh!!! I have finally seen the red flag at the second to the last sentence... Sorry Dear.. But as I said earlier... what ever you do, please don't loose your job..I am happy you still have that.... The job and your kids are the consolation price you got so far...Since he doesn't want to talk, Pretend that he doesNOT exist.. Until he has man up and comes out clean to say what this whole mess was all about... Then you will take it from there... If you want to forgive cool.. If you don't want then, it's up to u.. But for now... Just calm down.. I know it's hard but pls try...

I'm not married though but your mistake was working in a different town from your husband. It give serious room for cheating. If a man takes 4 - 6 months before coming to see you and the children except he is a military office or something, that should have been a red flag that he is doing something outside. How often do you go to visit him? Please don't go to your parents house as it would make things worse.
I kinda disagree with you.. Out of sight is not always out of mind... The key word is discipline... Any one that wants to cheat will do so even if the couple decides to stay lucked up in one room day in day out... Technology will help angry.. what about some couple who remains faithful to each other despite the fact that they reside in different country...

How do you handle in laws issues and how does she handle her inlaw...how do u handle financial matters..etc.

If u really wanna talk, then lend people your wisdom and experience... u really have to tell us why you feel or think that your marriage is great... or I'm I asking way too much buddy? smiley

Human resources is where you should have channelled your grievances to first so that it will be on record...

that's what anyone who doesn't know anyone in a place of work would have done (I believe u have heard of due processes ) ... I understand your colleague's sentiments too because if it wasn't your uncle's influences, tell me where you would have gotten such guts to go direct to the top to demand for a better working conditions except if u were indeed determined to resign...

Since it was your uncle that helped secured that job for u, when u heard that you will be working with so and so, what every reasonable person should have done was to call your said uncle and ask.. Uncle I heard I will be working with so and so in his unit, what is it like working with him or under him ?..

Dear, throw your energy into your job.. when u were confused and encountered problems, Ask for guidance from collegues and take that job as a challenge... a lot of people love challenges to prove their worth in a place of work.. quit dwelling under your uncle's influences.. show that uncle or no uncle, no one can pull you down based on your job ethics or have a reason to complain..

I must also say that your Uncle made a very big mistake by introducing you as family.. That doesn't help anyone... Even when u were promoted people will feel it was due to your uncle's influences... even when u are working so hard to make it to the top... he was wrong for doing that...

No one knows if she had a wonderful family or home as u stated or if she was keeping up an appearance... You only knew what the social media allows you to know... If she wasn't sleeping with phones like Donald Trump and twittering daily, u won't know..

That an accuser was not struggling financially does not mean that the person does not have different agenda in mind... You don't know what was in her mind or what she wants to achieve...

A lot of us here have heard and read enough to know that human being cannot totally be trusted... This Internet judgment about rape might be new to Nigerians... a lot of countries has passed this stage... Experiences has taught most nations that people gets sympathetic about rape victims..some have capitalized on that word RAPE to destroy innocent people or to get back at them for reasons best known to them...so they don't go about protesting over an allegations that was not substantiated

FYI, I'm not supporting the pastor or the lady...One of them might be either lying or telling the truth... But there are professionals who can identify who was lying and who was telling the truth... Every one should sit on the fence for now and stop throwing stones unnecessarily until the guilty person is pronounced guilty...
Family › Re: Coza: Busola And Biodun Brouhaha by Richy4(m): 11:27am On Jun 30, 2019
I have never seen a rape victim before, I don't know how they react in certain circumstances.. .. But if someone truly did something that was wrong as huge as rape , would you still like to see that person every time? I believe a lot of people will echo my sentiment that the ground around should open up instantly and swallow him/her each time we were in close proximity...

Why was this lady in question still breath the same air with the so called rapist in the same gathering... was that the only church in Nigeria? Why was she still in contact with the man? I can't remember how I acted @ 15 but I remembered never to be close to anyone that has the tendency to hurt me.. this is the fact and realities of life..

Only that lady knows what transpired between both of them and why she chose to do what she was doing now.. but there are lot of questions that begs for answers... People should learn how to be cautious in terms of defending what they knew next to nothing about so that it won't explode on their faces.. That's why the judicial system is there...

Family › Re: Rape Story, Things To Note: My Inner Thoughts by Richy4(m):
Around the world, rape cases are treated with caution... So that one will not damage someone's reputations for nothing..
Also around the world, snakes are treated with caution... So that one will not hurriedly terminate the engendered species....

But in Nigeria, those caution were not always taken.. Even the educated ones, once they hear of rape, the accused has already been pronounced guilty even if the allegation might be false..Rape cases in Nigeria is just like spotting a thing that look like a snake.. growing up in a boarding school, when one screams snake, everyone.. Junior or Senior.. Even the major male Ajebutter..All will rush out..Some will be looking for stones, sticks..in some cases even brooms and flip-flop comes out just to kill the snake even when it was not a snake but those long blue sponge that was carelessly left by a junior after showering...

I'm not saying that rape does not occur but it should be investigated first... Do not pronounce someone guilty because a so called prominent person or media personality said so.. it could be false allegation just to trend... I remembered how a teenage Australian girl accused a good Samaritan whose car he helped fixed of indecent assault and rape.. he spent two weeks in a maximum security prison, lost his job and is on the process of divorce...
