You are correct...that was why she came to ask me about it ...I remembered her opening speech was I will never go on a date with a Nigerian .. that was what made me curious to know why ..... I even asked her to tell me the name of the Nigerian guy, hoping to thank him if I ran into him in any Nigerian function for correcting the impression that others has made... she did but I didn't know anyone by that name... It was really funny... I was just imagining how that guy paid part of his bills and left...

Years ago, there's this collegue of mine... She's from Zimbabwe... she went on a date with a Nigerian guy.. The common knowledge about the country is that when you were on a date...Whenever the bill comes, U split it equally... except if the guy insists to pay...Most times white girls hated for someone to pick their bills...anyway that's by the way...

So this my collegue was basically having a talk with her female friends (Africans ).. Their gist was centered on African guys...According to what they were saying, if u were on a date with a Nigerian guy, he will pay for everything... That it was part of our culture. ..

So she went on a date with a Nigerian and deliberately left her purse where her credit card was and took an empty designer's one... because she was on a date with a Nigerian obviously she doesn't need money. ... When the bill came... The guy brought his own share and ask my collegue to bring hers, she was shocked and embarrassed... The guy was like how can you go out without money or anything....she has to submit her designer 's purse @ the counter... went back on a Sunday morning to pay and take her purse...

On Monday morning she was so angry... she came to my table during break @ the canteen to narrate what happened... I laughed so hard that I was choking... everyone was looking at us...


So if u cannot pay all that OP, why not let your intentions known to her?.. Time has passed when u do things grudgingly justto save face.. u might just miss a good girl just because of recharge cards and stuffs...She might desperately in need of it at that time..

As a Liverpool fan, last week was a terrible experience for me... To an extent I was afraid of Tuesday approaching...

One was like.. I have been listening to the news... And I have not heard that they have called off the match between Liverpool and Barcelona... Are u guys still insisting for a second round humiliation?... another one said that it will be a basketball match since our hero Salah wouldn't be playing... I tried to remind them that we were on top of the premier league... That even made it worse... they said we were local champion...according to their point of view, since we have met with the Lions from other nation what happened?

The most annoying part was that those that were on Liverpool 's case were not even Barcelona fans...

Based on the young lady's case.... most of us here are novice in terms of solving crime cases... but when a parent declared his/ her child who was a student and was not living with them missing... where do u go first to search?....

Our common sense will direct us straight to where he or she was living... if need be, the door will be broken just to make sure... if he/she is not there then we start asking his/her friends...

How come none of the security personal deemed it fit to search her room for 2 days...

Or was it that silly mentality that she may have gone to see the boyfriend and was not taken serious...

Maybe in Nigeria, it's seems to be a crime... Some nations does not have any clause on prostitution being a criminal offence... They classifies it as loitering which a punishable offence....

In some advanced nation, They pay their taxes like any other profession... Because things are done electronically these days... Just the way shoppers order their goods online... That's how some does it... and they contribute with their taxes towards nation building..

Do note that one of the central causes of vertigo is traumatic brain injury. Was the OP abusive to his wife for her to run when he needed her the most. You both suffered debilitating ailments within a six month span. Dude, man up and fess. Something happen of which both of you are as guilty as hell.

Vertigo that I know of and had suffered from was quite different from the One u were talking about here dear...
The first time I left the soil of Nigeria to study abroad.. I had it....According to the Doctor the reason was that I exposed myself to the severe weather conditions...leaving my head and other parts of my body unprotected even when using heater to sleep...hence the dizziness...as if the house was upside down or moving...

Besides there was no specific drug or medicine for vertigo....
The way you were trying to find faults from the Guy, I wish that he can just come out and tell you that he was abusive, characterless and a scum.. so that you can relax... I never knew anyone that wouldn't put grudges aside and save a spouse when in danger... especially when kids were involved...

OP said that they were leaving in different town... he took money that he should have used for himself and sent it to her... Asked a friend that was leaving in that same town as the wife to quickly take her to the hospital..... And This happened when she has already abandoned him...Haba!!!.. The woman is justified for abandoning him during the hours of his needs without helping out correct?...According to what you were implying, Since she was pained.. Even if his life is at stake there's no reason whatsoever to help take him to the hospital and be with him until he was out of danger?... Even when they had something in common which in this case was kids that was not enough for her to stay and look after the man rIght? ...

Even if you hear her side of the story... or if this is a sub story, Is there any justification for letting a spouse suffer when health and life is involved ? ... Even armed robbers that killed someone during robbery but was wounded during shootouts got saved and got treated very well in the hospital before being taken to court despite the fact that he killed someone.. ... and one just wondered why they didn't allow them to die....

I will never tell you what to think or the perspective to look at things but I'm greatly shocked that this is really coming from a man...

A man will think about having sex... A woman will feel like having sex... these might sound the same but it has different meaning to any one that cares to pay attention..... The woman in this write up doesn't feel it because she can't even imagine it psychologically in her situation... ..

In terms of tuning off sex after having children... That too is a probability... But in this case, the woman in question will have nothing to think about... she wasn't gonna worry her pretty head over money for school for any kid, food, working long hours to make ends meet .. her mindset will be relaxed therefore she will be down for whatever....

A lot of people both men and women were in an un happy relationship because of their children... how divorce is going affect them...that could be the reason she stayed to endure the abuse... now that some of her kids are teenagers they might even be the ones encouraging her to leave...

I Also agree that if she can't stand the heat, she should stay away from the kitchen for now..
