If this truely happened, then it's really sad... I know that lgbo people are really good with background check because of this their OSU stuff... In the early 2000, I accompanied some friends to marry an Igbo girl... One of the elder started with... My brothers, we want to formally ask u.. there's this food we don't eat within our kindred.. we just want to know if you people do eat the food.. if u do, please let us know....He sat down... I was totally waiting for him to mention the food One of the men that came with us answered him by saying... We know that food and we want to assure you that we don't eat it as well... Hmmm!!! Family misunderstanding is not a license for a promiscuous lifestyle buddy...There are too many diseases out there...Condoms are not 100% safe... It might even get torn in the process and what we are afraid of will come knocking..  Honestly, She did everything in the book to provoke you...That is correct...But beating her with wire is what I don't understand. Do you want to commit murder?...there's a thin line between life and death buddy... Four months after After wedding? Waited one month, 2... 3...then 4 Was he waiting for more explanation from her or what?... Besides, he wan take the virginity cook soup? If not that male folks were lucky enough that nature did not deposit anything to identify if we have done it the first time or not, except our words being our bond, how do we know if he himself is equally a virgin... considering he who comes to equity must come with clean hands. Blood thirsty society that has zero value for human life... There was a thread that made front page today about two suspected armed robbers burnt to death in Lagos...the zero emotions I read on that thread was heartbreaking... Most Nigerian dogs are really really skinny haba!! Was it because of the Nigerian Economic situation or just how they are?.. I agree with that Writer above... I feel really sad each time I see things like Bill Gates did not go to school... Bla bla bla...Do we need to remind people that the Nigerian system is different from that of the American system? Some countries kill dreams while some make dreams come to life... The opportunity Bill Gate has as a citizen of America, the ability of corporate organisation to recognise invention and make it a reality is more realistic in US than in Nigeria.. If you have a vision or a dream to invent something worthwhile, do you think as a WAEC holder someone/ company will even look at the proposal not to talk of sponsoring it?.... Assuming Bill Gate or Mark Zuckerberg were Nigerians, Can u imagine what would have happened?.... I believe that there are many Nigerians who are innovative and have one invention or the other but it's tucked away somewhere in the closet because no company is willing to take the chance to sponsor it... The gap between a graduate and someone that learnt a trade is too wide in Nigeria which is not supposed to be... Every one must not go to school yes.. but using Bill Gate to drive a point home when it has to do with someone residing in Nigeria is not realistic... Assuming an American citizen was telling a fellow citizen that everyone must not be a university graduate and gives Bill Gate as an example.. then it's cool... But a Nigerian, residing in Nigeria, that knows how the system works, telling a fellow Nigerian that everyone must not go to school.. then use Bill Gate as an example..SMH 7 Likes 1 Share |

It's not easy any where around the world as a student not to talk of UK... You can't just get to UK and start working immediately as if the job is waiting for you.... U will have to burn some cash for rent, groceries etc for months before u land a job..and working 20 hours is just so you can buy books...not even enough to enroll for another year/ semester.. A nursing mum, with two kids depending on a limited cash resources will burn it quickly...Except u have Tinubu's Bullion van ...If it's only one year study visa that u got, u can still renew your visa by looking for "irrelevant" annoying course to study just to prolong your stay to buy more time..I will suggest that your wife should manage the business at home so that u don't lose out... In seven months you will get used to their system, U will also learn from others before you, then you will devise a means to bring them... 3 Likes |
