Schooling is easier abroad than in Nigeria, u see someone who cudnt 150 in JAMB studying Medicine and Surgery abroad, hmmmmm. I had a student who failed Schl of Nursing entrance exam but secured admission into medical schl in UK, stricter measures shud be imbibed by this foreign Schls.

I believe nobody should be beaten over food theft in this economy, instead they should be made to do an amount of work commensurate to the cost of the food item either for the owner or for another person who will eventually pay for the stolen food item.

As long as it is food that is just enough to feed the thief or the family, there should be some leniency. If the person steals large quantity of food or other items with the intention of selling for money, he/she can then be treated like a criminal.
