Never knew they were part of EU to begin with.

It is situated in more than one continent, thus it is said to be transcontinental.
77 percent of Russia is in Asia, while 23% is in Europe. But that 23% is a massive 40% of the entire Europe.

@Vivee001... You have no idea the massive good you have done me! I hate to start a show and then like three episodes into it, everything becomes so dreary, it makes me feel all puky..lol. Perhaps, it's because most of the time, my taste is particularly singular and I would spurn everything that doesn't focus on romance. That is not to say that I have found all romance stories to be exceptional, though.

Goblin for one, didn't do it for me, even though a whole lot of people reviewed it positively. Then, I found Her Private Life to be "just there"...
I was quite taken with Healer and What's Wrong With Secretary Kim. Park Seo-joon and Park Min-young, I've come to know are the best kissers in K-dramas. smiley

Anyway, thanks again for having my time. I'll always cherish the verrry best from personal experiences. Almost never from ticket office sales.

When all resources is available to a ready mind who is living in her dreams, why won't she bag it?

The condition of studying in Nigeria is such that u either win scholarship to survive in university or die CGPAlically looking for money to help urself through school.

Yet another truth!

I went to school with people, some of whose parents, would drive all the way from lagos with basically everything, from gallons of kerosene then, to bags of pure water. One even built a mini hostel (3 self contained flats) for her two daughters, in a town they didn't even journey through before getting an admission to study there.
So what kind of thinking again will these kind of students have? Is it not just to face them books squarely?

Sadly, boyfriend and clubbing will still not allow some to have sense.

There's nothing like extra ordinary luck, favor, grace, or extra intelligence in getting first class, you have to work for it. Set goals and the type of grades you want to see on your result sheet each semester, some people are reluctant to get the good things people desire for but are quick to give praises to those things.
I have checked the internet to see if there's something special about this first class of a thing, several testimony from professors and others has revealed it is just the seriousness those first class students put in to get at it.
To my surprise an average student too can get first class.
@ the bolded I agree completely.

Yesss, an average student can! I've seen it happen. Then again, I knew people who I would deem above average, but even while showing real commitment to their studies, they were still shown pepper by "the system". I guess this is what makes the case curious and leaves people to acknowledge some supernatural leverage that some others must have.

From a department committee questioning why a certain number of students should have an A in a course, to the lackadaisical attitude of some lecturers when they do the marking, that's even when they aren't employing a student to do it for them...to someone failing a course, that another aced, having taken verbatim from them in the exam hall.

All these irregularities of course, I am apportioning to the Nigerian universities, majorly.

My experience in The Abroad was wayyy different.
Imagine mailing a professor ahead of a test, to tell them that you won't be able to take it on the fixed date, as your best friend's wedding would hold in two weeks in a different country....
Or a professor, mailing you after an exam, to ask why you did not attempt question nine and then asking you to do so and resubmit within 30 minutes, after reading the mail....

Just tell me how an average Nigerian student struggling to remain average, with all the psychological tensions in Nigeria - monetary, banditry and the works, will not bag a first class, when they come over?

By no means am I insinuating that every international student goes back home with a first class of course, but oh yes, I can attest to the levelness of the fields on which they play, 99.9% of the time, which is even sometimes abused and would warrant a revert to the matter of unseriousness--- yet, almost never so badly as to completely fail and leave school completely.

Congrats to her!
In my experience from studying at a Nigerian university though, I must admit that there are much more students that can bag a first, if the system but let them do so in all fairness. I feel that most of these celebrated ones, have more luck/grace/favor or whatever, than they actually do extraordinary intelligence.

Here comes the obvious question I have been throwing at you which you chose not to answer.
Careful in her own house? Besides, till when will she be careful? If you are having trust issues in basic scenario like this, then it's a failed relationship.

I hope your girl (if you have one) starts demanding to meet you in a public space simply because she is afraid of the devil you might be

But why do you even bother with that dude? Anyone can see that he's either being very immature or is in fact, a kid.
Crime / Re: My Boyfriend Drugged And Raped Me. by Rocktation(f): 1:05am On Feb 08, 2021
For the fact that we have to share this life with all these really wild human-animals, I am ashamed and deeply sorry, dearie. Surely, whatever damage he hopes he's done you, cannot floor that which such a sick person as he, has never experienced life without.

You have got to comport yourself though and push ahead. Just keep telling yourself that worse things do happen to people and that everyday after this, will keep getting better, nonstop. It does eventually, sweetheart.

Find closure within the boundaries of reason. From confronting him, getting him arrested, beat up, even.

Whatever you do, do it so you may keep your God-given right that this idiot is trying to steal away from you - which is grabbing life by its lapels and living the life, out of life itself.

Travel / Re: Why Bringing A Spouse Abroad Goes Wrong by Rocktation(f): 11:07pm On Jan 08, 2021
somegirl1:

A lot of Nigerian men import wives from Nigeria for the wrong reasons.
They pick home-based women over Nigerian women already abroad, foreign black and white women with the mindset that they're easier to manipulate, subdue and control.
Truth is, the only difference between home-based women and Nigerian women abroad is exposure and availability of options, it's only a matter of time before the home-based lady adjusts to her environment.
Rather than bring a poor girl from Nigeria abroad to dictate to her what she's to study and expect her salary as recompense for putting her through school, how about these men invest in themselves, study nursing, medicine etc and make the money themselves.
I would never hand over my earnings to anyone if I had a choice, no one will wholeheartedly.
The moral lesson from these horror stories is for Nigerian men to stop attempting to use home-based women as investments and to stop being delusional about these women remaining subdued in a liberal society.

By the way, Nigerian women abroad also fall prey to home-based men who mistreat them once they leave Nigeria. It's not just the men that have sorrowful tales to tell.

This!
