CrazyMan:OMG! How is it that you are only just noticing this post? Is it what I'm thinking? |
OK. |
The only person I truly feel bad for is Sia. |
How funny that I find this thread funny! |
srrrr:Of cos, we could tell it was the omo-oba because the director kept making him stare fiercely and unendingly at everybody. Lolzz. But the plain obviousness, made me half-expect some plot twist, somewhere along the line. So yeah, I kind of got punked. I also thought it was about Independence, fueling my hesitation to watch at first, but I was pleasantly surprised and ended up really appreciating the snippets of info about the old Nigeria that the movie offered. Coupled with the mad costumes and relics, which the Afolayan guy said were sourced from every corner of planet earth, when he received the 2015 AMAA award for Best Nigerian Film. Crazy still, is that he made another movie titled October 31st. But it's a Yoruba movie. 8/10 by my standard ( and yours!) is more than a huge leap for a Nigerian movie. And I hear that they make a whole lot of such these days. It's not like I feel super ready to delve into the industry, but I can't promise not to allow my self to veer, once in a while. Infact, a certain Milkmaid is beckoning, as we speak. We'll see. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Take care, now. |
Eyaaa..I'm touched.. Indeed, humanity still has hope. |
You could google the list of Federal Government jobs in Nigeria and show to him that they aren't listed. |
@OP...I'll gift you some knowledge today. It is the theory of the different types of intelligences. Read it up ASAP. It could help in your next IELTS, GRE, or just informed conversation. |
Awww so sad Sending light and love your way, mama. |
Something could be anything. Heartbreak is something. Don't be dangerously vague like that. |
Rocktation:Who has not voted today? It's a ballot for everyday, until the 31st day of May, 2021. Abeg, don't dull oo. |
srrrr:How far? Did you succeed? |
EdricBond:Lol, everyone is interesting in their own way. Believe it or not, she had quite a lot of fans back in the day ![]() |
Ilamina:Alright. I did miss you in some way. ![]() |
Ilamina:So you are admitting that this is Onila's alternate account? |
It's almost as though she's Onila. Or is she? |
Are you sure you people will not start committing suicide in droves? Because it's almost as though you sleep and wake up with this same nonsensical issue of libation, that women are not giving you self-acclaimed deities. Gbraaaa gbraa gbarraa graaa..what are they giving us? Nothing. Useless..blah blah...and then you fall back into comatose, only to wake up the next morning and live out the same loop. You have it all figured out AGAIN, genius, after centuries of meditation. Can everybody now get back to their role play? This is exhausting. |
So she would have listened to you, because you are not part of people? |
srrrr:I found a link for you. https://batatv.com/2020/05/13/nollywood-movie-october-1-2014-full-movie-download-720p-hd-mkv-mp4-avi/amp/ Enjoy! If for some reason, the link doesn't open from here, type "where can I download October 1st" into google search engine. It will give you results as shown in the picture I posted below. Click the circled link and on entering, select the alternative download link to start downloading.

srrrr:Oh oh..Idk. Maybe if I find out, I'll quote you. It was forced on me via my external hard disc drive and I remember that it was super heavy like 1.5 gig. I almost killed the guy at the time. Lol. But mennn, it was worth it. Wonderful plot plus I could see every drop of sweat, because of the 1.5gig quality. That Kunle Afolayan rocks abeg. |
superCleanworks:Hahaha.... C'mon, don't be mean like that. Truly, I also don't agree that the films he mentioned were wonderful. Not even at the time they were trending. I feel like I hated Nollywood stuff even more than you, until I opened my heart to a friend's plea to watch October 1st. And dyammn, was I intrigued..!! You probably should try just that too and come back to quote me. You don't even have to watch any again, like I haven't since then, for Heaven forbid, we might taint our international movie-watching disposition that everyone has come to know us with, with local stuff. Lol. |
GeneralPula:I don't do Nollywood at all, but my brother, I watched October 1st. I can now attest to the fact that some Nollywood stuff are gooooood. |
DonSmith123rr4:How wonderful that you find sense in shagging your way through, to getting the best hands on your work team- women, cat, rat and men together, so you can all be one big happy family..Wowww. The 49th law of power. Entrepreneur of the century. |
You could get banned again, for posting in the wrong section. |
Everyone should make out time to listen to everybody around them. You make it seem like it's a duty that is specific to any one partner. |
Preciousgirl:Hopefully, you'll share in the appropriate sections henceforth. Won't you? |
Why do you think that everything that pops up in your head, should be shared/discussed in the romance section? |
