I believe what Wike said, the number of the PDP presidential aspirants is confusing and scary, i believe APC are using one or persons in the PDP to destroy the forth comiong elections, from the look of things i don't trust some of the aspirants 100%. The deputy tourist police chief Pol Maj-General Surachet Hakpal, on Saturday, said the police will soon conclude their focus on all 1,400 Nigerians living in Thailand.

Surachet said police would recheck Nigerians living in the country, to ensure they are living in accordance with the purposes they stated in their entry visa applications.

He said singling out the entirety of one nationality for police attention was needed after “many Nigerians” were found to be taking part in romance scams deceiving Thai women.

He added that five Nigerians had been arrested in romance scams where they deceived 48 Thai women out of Bt5.9 million.

A court in Abuja has ordered the police to arrest Senator Hope Uzodinma (representing Orlu Zone, Imo West), and produce him before September 25 this year.

Justice Abdulwahab Mohammed of the Grade 1 Area Court, Kubwa Abuja gave the order on Tuesday following Uzodinma’s failure to attend court to respond to a direct criminal complaint pending against him.

“Pursuant to Section 131 of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act, 2015, a bench warrant is hereby issued against Senator Hope Uzodinma in view of his failure to attend court to answer to the complaint pending against him,” the judge said.

The complaint was issued against Uzodinma and his two companies by Chitex Ventures Ltd and Chima Akuzie, who claimed that the Senator issued them a N200 million UBA dud cheque (bounced cheque).
