No. You have to tolerate some things but then you also have to have deal breakers.

It takes two to make a marriage work in our time. Dreams and aspirations of the two people have to be blended so they can both be achieved by the couple. Roles have to be shared, committment to one another must be there.

Infidelity must be sent out and marriages have to be God centred, especially in this times.

If young people are truly happy, so why do they (especially the ladies) turn to motivational speaker after divorce telling other ladies what to do and what not to do for men? People go in with expectations. Some realistic, some are not. I know some divorced guys who also turned motivational speakers. The some are never right in their stories, she's always the bad one. In the cases of divorced women as well, the exes are always bad.

These all points to miscommunication which is a very common issue in marriages these days.

I believe the reason you hear of pregnant baby mamas is because of the scandals attached to it.

The same way you hear about couples struggling to have children is because we notice they don't.

It doesn't mean there are single girls having sex without protection but have never gotten pregnant. It's when such women get married that they realize they have infertility issues.

In most cases, the women are not the problem. In our part of the world, we blame the women for infertility meanwhile, there are cases where the man is the one with issues.

Some single women live reckless lives and don't have children when they marry, some marry and have plenty children. It is not anyone's fault.

No. Young people these days value happiness than endurance.

I don't think marriage should be measured by how long it lasted but by how happy it is.

Our parents, mostly our mothers endured a lot in their marriage. Abuse, lovelessness, infidelity, unfulfilled dreams and ambition, financial negligence just for the children.

These days, young people are not willing to live an unhappy life. That's why I said it takes two.

Forget, I have asked some old folks who have been married long, some widowed, some divorced and all I saw from their eyes and stories were unfulfilled dreams and unhappiness.

Sadly, it was when I asked them if they were happy that they said no. But for the children, they stayed.
